OK, I had this computer for about a year, maybe two, but so far, this has been the only thing that went wrong. I don't know if I did anything for the computer, so I'll tell the whole story, just in case.

Before I closed my computer, a message with ' updates, restart the computer in... "I clicked on four hours. I rushed again, and the computer was a desperately long to close, so I turned off the PowerPoint before it closes completely (the screen was black, but the monitor was stil noises) I came home about 5 hours later and I tried to restart. I start, and he said that the last commissioning has been interrupted, and I need to choose a mode: Safe Mode, safe mode with network, safe mode with command prompt Mode, known last good configuration or start windows normally. It was still pretty normal and has happened.

After that, the computer starts to boot, only to get a blue screen. I managed to read the letter * STOP: 0x000000F4 and alittle extra, but the screen comes and goes so fast, it is difficult to read. It crashes and then restarts. The same thing happens.

No matter which option I am trying, is the same thing. He said something to put in my Windows CD, click languages, and then clicking "Repair my computer", but I can't find the CD, and I'm afraid to lose everything. I am a fool and I forgot a copy of backup my computer to a CD or a USB key.

    Please, someone help me!

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Windows 7 PC Blue Screen: STOP 0x000000F4

Three weeks, my computer began to experience regular blue screens for no discernible reason. My first instinct was to update all my drivers and make sure that I had all the latest updates, I also ran several diagnostics; memory and hardware checks, analyses the virus, it came up saying everything's fine. I run a custom Setup, so I tried unplugging different disks without success, which leads me to believe, there is a problem with the boot drive, but, as I said, all the checks I ran on it come back saying otherwise.

I tried to download the Windows SDK to run several tests, but there will be nothing more than the computer. I tried to run the system restore several times and always, he fails to finish, then when I come back, regardless of the system image, I tried to restore will be gone.

I tried to swap around cables on all players with brand new ones and that does not work so I'm kinda an impasse, any suggestions would be helpful.

    Hi Vashem,

The error STOP: 0x000000F4 can occur for several reasons. There are many reasons why your system may crash because of these screens to stop errors\Blue. The most common scenarios are: faulty drivers, hardware problem (especially RAM). In this case, the issue could be due to the motherboard is heated.

Check firmware and system disk controller BIOS settings are correct and that the storage device has been correctly installed.

Method 1: The problem is possibly due to material of unsupported disk controller. Check if BIOS (Basic Input\Output System) is set to IDE. Enter the BIOS and check the settings. Change the SATA to IDE option (if available). You can view the manual to do the same thing.

Note: Be careful when you change the BIOS settings. The BIOS interface is designed for advanced users, and it is possible to change a setting that can prevent your computer from starting properly.

Method 2: Disconnect any external devices from the computer except for the mouse and keyboard and check if that helps.

  • Satellite L650 - frequent restarting with blue screen

Hi, I bought a L650 on 2 months ago so it is still under warranty.
Recently (maybe last 2 weeks), she continued to end with blue screen of death. It seems to happen more if I open multiple tabs in internet and I thought it might be adobe flash but no longer believe.
It is said if there is no new hardware or software installed try to reinstall but I do not know what software and there is no new material.

"a problem has been detected and windows has been shyt down to protect your computer.
A process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly left or terminated.
    ...
    technical information:
    STOP: 0x000000F4 (0 X 00000000000003, OxFFFFFFFFAB007A4B30, 0xFFFFFFFFFA (rest off the screen of the camera)
    xFFFF800035C #1EO

Something like above, although his little video on my camera so some numbers can be wrong.

Can someone tell if it is a hardware malfunction or my fault somehow?
Is this a warranty issue, or what should I do?
I've never done any windows CD or anything when I bought laptop unfortunately so don't know not if I reformat the hard drive?

    Thank you.

    Hello

It's worse than at the beginning with STOP: 0x000000F4 error message. It is still problematic to help this kind of problems, because your laptop configuration, preinstalled software and activity is not known to us.

In my opinion you should backup all of your important data, install the OS by using HARD drive recovery option and test functionality with original operating system without any additional software installation.

If the BSOD happen again and again that I recommend you contact the closest service Toshiba and ask for help. I have two laptops Toshiba and so far I didn t notice BSOD at all.

  • Satellite U300-159 - blue screen after Windows 7 installation

Satellite U300-159. I did a clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Since the upgrade, it has blue screen every time you start after approx. 1 min. blue screen * STOP: 0x000000f4. The computer restarts it self after a while.

I checked memory with 2 different programs. No errors. HARD drive checked - no error.
Updated the BIOS, but get the error 1275 attempted using Toshibe updateprogram code.

Anybody have ideas, what to do?

    Hey,.

I m a bit confused about your ad first, you wrote that you did a clean install and then you wrote something about an upgrade
    What's true?

Anyway, if you see the blue screen in safe mode too? If this isn't the case, it seems to be a driver issue because in safe mode no drivers will be loaded.

  • Blue-screen HP laptop issues

Hi, I'm having a bad problem blue screen with my computer hp dv6-1245dx laptop.  I'm stuck on a blue screen at very random times, starting with an appearance a few months ago, followed two months with no problems, then some crashes in a row of three weeks, followed three weeks of good use.  Over the past three days the occurrences are practically every 10 to 20 mintues, randomly, and they need a few minutes to wait before it will turn the crank upward again.  (If I do not expect this shortly, it will crank but it throws a black error screen saying "No operating system found") I'm afraid this is some hardware problem, like HD about to give default.  I ran the Diag.exe Image from the first post on this forum and have this available newspapers cab file.  I also have a picture of the blue screen (it's the same thing every time, the error is a STOP: 0x000000F4).  Please notify.

    Hey robwats83,

If the test fails the drive needs to be replaced. There are bad sectors on the drive that can cause an accident at any time at random.

The fact that the PC works now only tells you that a good amount of sectors are in decent condition, but once again, this could crash completely at any time and you want to be ready for it. It's a bit like a small chip paint on a car. It looks good at first but it gets out of control fast.

You have your saved information, which is great, most of the people do not get this chance before a crash. Replace the reader of that time isn't really necessary, but should be done as soon as POSSIBLE, so you're not in the middle of something when it finally dies.

    I hope this helps!

  • I need advice on how to solve a problem of blue screen.

Whenever I leave my computer for 15-20 minutes, I get a blue screen.  The error message is the following:

    Stop: 0x000000F4 (0 x 00000003, 0x8AB5D588, 0x8AB5D6FC, 0x805D22AA)

    This line is followed with:

    Beginning physical memory dump

The only way to close this blue window via the power on / off switch.

I came back to an earlier backup and the same problem exists... I did a chkdsk /r recovery mode task, and that did not help... I took several recommendations that I found the Internet regarding how this fix did not work - nothing I've tried has solved this ongoing problem.

Can someone give me a clue as to what the error is all about and how can I solve the problem?  Needless to say, I am lost on what to do next and any help sent my way will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry that I was unable to return to it so far.  My computer decided to crash shortly after sending my first message in this thread.  A hard drive test informed me that she had not.  I decided to take my computer to the store for a new hard drive.  While there, the technology has attempted to re - install the software from my old hard drive on the new hard drive - that didn't work because the operating system was corrupt.  Thus, only the new operating system has been reinstalled on my new hard drive and I am just now able to get back to the internet.  Fortunately for me I had a backup of the system.  Although the back-up also had a corrupted operating system registered on it, this backup made allowed me to look at what was on my system before installation of my new hard drive.  In any case, I now work to restore the software that was previously on my computer.

Yet once again, sorry for not responding not sent help my way - it was out of my control.

    Thanks for the replies.

    Hello DJ_LoPaTa,

You have a hardware failure. Most likely RAM. You can run a memory test. I hope this helps. Make it a great day!
