  • Windows Mail showed error 0x800ccc91 & 0x800ccc92

I use Windows Mail on my Windows Vista (with SP 2) for a while. But today, the security of Windows just jumped and ask me my user name and password. I typed in it but she will not cross. Then I canceled it and error 0x800ccc91 & 0x800ccc92 came after that. What can I do to fix this? I can't send or receive emails in my Windows email now! Please help on this and provide me with as much detail as possible. I would appreciate your help.

Sometimes passwords become corrupt. I suggest you delete the account completely, restart, and then add again.

Also, try to compact and repair the database.

If that doesn't fix it, please post any error message in its entirety. You can left click on it to highlight then right click to copy and then paste in this thread. Just the number of code alone is not enough.

  • error 0x800CCC90 and 0x800CCC92 codes when I try to log into my email

I can't connect my email through error codes express outlook 0x800ccc92 & 0x800CCC90

If you can, try to connect via webmail and ensure that there is no problem with the account.  If webmail works, try to remove your e-mail account and then close Winmail and compact and repair the database (www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).  After that, make sure that your antivirus software is not interfere (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3) and add your account to mail back once again.

So it could just be an intermittent interruption of service, first try the webmail.

I'm using Outlook 2002 on the XP Pro operating system.

It lasts for almost a year, but I managed to work around the issue since it was started using a different outgoing SMTP user name and the password.  (More settings, outgoing server tab, log in using...)  Now it has stopped working.

There are four machines at this place and all suffer from the same problem.  I use a LinkSys RVS4000 router.  The previous Linksys router has also had the same problem so I replaced, thinking he can correct the problem, he didn't.
    Troubleshooting:
    a. I am able to recreate the account on another machine to a different place and it works.
    b. I can take an account of my machine, create in this place and it will not work.
    c. accounts deleted and created a new, did not
    d. has replaced the router to the place with a new Linksys router
    e. contacted support for ISP, (Time Warner), they accuse the hosting company
    d. contacted support for hosting of the company (HostCentric) they blame the ISP
    c. confirmed username and passwords are correct.
    e. There are 4 machines in this place with different addresses.  All started having this problem/error the same day within hours
    f. may receive emails cannot be sent.

I can not receive or send e-mail messages. Error messages I get are: an unknown error has occurred. Account: 'mail.charter.net', server: 'pop.charter.net', Protocol: POP3, Port 110, secure (SSL): no, error number: 0x800C0133 and

I went on my account and I believe I provided my e-mail server names are: smtp.charter.net, pop.charter.net for incoming mail and outgoing. It does not help the problem.
I also recently installed Kaspersky when I got the root of 'Charter' kit installed. So I deleted the rootkit Charter program and uninstalled then re-installed Kaspersky Internet Security 2010.
I want to keep my Outlook Express.

Also, I tried to roll back the computer but to no avail.
What can I do to fix what I've apparently clogged upward?

    Thank you

    Start with this one.

    Error number: 0x800C0133 = a corrupt Inbox.

Move any message you want to save to a local folder that you create. Then, remove the problem of Inbox as follows.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX file for the folder in question {Inbox.dbx} and delete it.  Another will be created automatically when you open OE.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

  • Error 0x800CCC90 and 0x800CCC92 on outlook express on all new accounts

Hello, I'm trying accountable email for new employees in my company. However, whenever I try to access these new accounts to send or receive e-mails, I get error 0x800CCC90 and 0x800CCC92. Accounts that have been already made and use the same POP3 and SMTP servers as new accounts with a dysfunction work very well. Accounts are hosted by onlinecorp.com and I have done here before to create on the instance of Microsoft Outlook Express selling personal computer. I checked and rechecked to make sure that I entered the data correctly and deleted and recreated the accounts without result. I think that there may be something wrong with the creation account because this problem does not seem to affect the old accounts. The problem is, I have no idea how to solve this problem and nothing I found seems to apply to my situation. If someone knows what I could do to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

    ·         Were there any changes to the computer, lately?

    Method 1:

    (a) start the Windows Messaging mail client.

    (b) click on 'Tools' from the main menu and choose "accounts".

    (c) a pop up will appear showing you all the email accounts in Windows Mail. Select the one that gives you the error and then click on the button 'Properties'.

    (d) another window pop up displays all parameters associated with this account.

    (e) under the "servers" tab check the 'e-mail username' and 'password'. One of them would certainly incorrect which translates the ID of Windows Mail error 0x800CCC92

    (f) to avoid having to enter the user name and password each time, check the box in front of "Remember password".

    (g) once you make the appropriate changes, click on the button 'apply' then 'OK'. Close the other pop-up window

Method 2: Remove the existing from Windows mail email account and create a new one following the link provided below.

  • Cannot access windows 0x800CCC90 and 0x800CCC92 errors messages

Suddenly, I was unable to access my emails after you have entered the user name and password (normally done automatically) and get error 0x800CCC90 and 0x800CCC92 codes.  My ISP (TalkTalk) do not offer support on Windows Mail.    If I confused with my password can I reset it... or can I rload Windows Mail without losing my data?

Completely remove the account. Compact and repair the database, and then restart. Add the account back.

Hotmail is completely different from a POP3 account, it's a moot point.

Did you get on the site of the Webmail Server with this password? I can't find that for TV of MyPC POP3 server settings then if it is a new issue, give it some time error said temporary, but if this account has never worked, tech support contact and get the appropriate settings.
