!! 0xc0190036! 2665/49693 (Solitaire.exe)

I re-post this thread because no microsoft has given me an answer yet.

Currently, I use Win Vista SP1. Yesterday, I downloaded and installed the Vista Service Pack 2 (SP2) yesterday by following the instructions of WINDOWS UPDATE. I then clicked on restart the computer and my world collapsed...
This is what happened:
The PC has begun to restart. A black screen came up with a line of top, showing the different numbers of fast scrolling. Then the line has frozen with the message:! 0xc0190036! 2665/49693 (Solitaire.exe).

As a user of the computer without any technical knowledge, I tried various things like a hard reset and also using external manufacturer to start Recovery CD. After 7 hours of grief and panick, I managed to get the computer going again to return to the previous version of the software before installation of Vista SP2.

I hesitate now to install SP2 until microsoft can explain what is happening with this pack sotware and how to avoid this problem doesn't happen again on my pc.

See my response to your first thread about this (in the Windows Update forum): http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistawu/thread/a15af661-bf2c-4eef-852b-8b595a718243

If you want or need the assistance of Microsoft, open a support of Vista SP2 free incident.

  • Vista SP2 x 64 install error "0xc0190036 517/97646 (explorer.exe)" _

I'm trying the upgrade of vista x 64 sp1 to vista sp2 x 64. When the system tries to restart, it crashes with the error "0xc0190036 517/97646 (explorer.exe). I have to hard start and do a restore.
I tried several suggestions over a period of 3 days. One of the suggestions was to run chkdsk.  This is the error I get when I run chkdsk: "explorer.exe entry index in the index file 35 $I30 are incorrect."  If I run chkdsk /f it says it removes the entry and then explorer.exe is an orphan.  When I reboot and running chkdsk /f even once, I get the same messages.
Is the vista sp2 x 64 install error and the error from chkdsk associated.  What should I do?

    Hello

The files must be placed in their respective installation files.

    FreeCell.exe:

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FreeCell

    Hearts.exe:

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Hearts

    Solitaire.exe:

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Solitaire

If you want to start these programs from the desktop, click on the .exe file for the game and select the send to/desktop (create shortcut) option.

This will place a shortcut on your desktop that you can double-click to start the game.

  • I lost solitaire

the link in the start menu no longer works.
I went to the Control Panel, but it does active Solitaire from there.

Go to applet programs and features in Control Panel.  Disable the games, then turn them back on.  That should be updated.

The program itself is in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Solitaire\Solitaire.exe.

    Good luck.

  • Problems with Solitaire

My OS is 7 x 64 IE9. I encountered problems when playing Solitaire. When I first play the game the cards shuffle on OK. However, when I click on 'play again' the cards just don't appear - no treatment. another an instance, it is that sometimes she acts like double-clicking on the stack. The final problem is that when I try to cancel a previous round cards he leaves me not go back until I have continually click Cancel.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game - nothing changes. I tried to find some tutorials dealing with similar problems - no answers! Thinking maybe it could be a malware issue I ran Malwarebytes with MSE scans and nothing was found. Some time ago I read where some malware exploits solitaire.exe. I don't know if this is the case and the security software cannot detect. FWIW, I also ran SuperAntispyware and the results were negative. Suggestions, anyone?

He told me that your computer has a case of the flu.  I would like to back up data that I want to keep before it degenerates into pneumonia.  The solution is to restore your computer to factory settings, then these backups made while you can and learn more about what you need to do to restore your computer.

    Good luck.

  • XP games for windows 7

I want to install games on my home edition of windows 7 64-bit XP but I uninstalled the games of the XP and I can not find that my installation of xp discs in order to (re) install games. I read in several sites including replied that 'everything' I need is the cards.dll and solitaire .exe.  By another post, I went to "to add/remove windows components" but the games are not displayed.  I also checked my trash, but then nothing.  I don't know anyone who has the XP CD.  I checked some "free games" on the web but free isn't really free of course and they all wanted to add stuff to my IE.  Is there anyway that I can get these files?  It goes without saying that my XP software is legal.

    Thanks, Cattyjoan

Windows 7 has already integrated Solitaire.

  • Spider Solitaire (spider.exe)

I am relatively computer illiterate, so please do not speak in gibberish.  I have Microsoft XP and I seem to have lost my spider solitaire game by my computer.   Any ideas as to where it might have disappeared to.  If I accidentally deleted, how can I return it?

    Kind regards
