1.3.5 update messed up my pre

After the update I can't access my music photos that I just tried removing the battery and the rest and it will not cross the palm screen! Help

The same thing happened to me 2 days ago. I went to a Sprint store and they ended up changing my battery. My Palm starts immediately. They do not diagnose the problem past this point. Hope this has helped.

I bought a HP Split X 2 13.3 "laptop in a show of computer a little more than 1 year.

It comes with Windows 8 pre-loaded at that time here.

Later, Microsoft offers a free upgrade for all 8 to 8.1 Win win and I did as well.

Everything goes perfectly smooth, at least until recently, when I try to go control panel perform add functionality of Windows 8.1.

He asked me product key!

When I looked at the bottom of my laptop Split X 2, it doesn't have the Windows product key sticker. There is only 1 sticker hologen Windows 8! Therefore, I use a key finder application to detect the product key.

I enter the product key when I run add a feature to 8.1 win again, but the windows prompted me key is not valid.

Why?

Insalled Win8.1 is the authentic version. I can perform regular updates of Windows without problem.

Appreciate if any expert can help solve my problem.

The add feature is to upgrade your current Windows 8/8.1 Core Windows 8/8.1 Pro Edition or Windows Media Center Edition 8/8.1.

It requires you to purchase the particular product key with regard to the option to add features.

updating Win 7 home pre never returns

damaged my laptop so set up another and put my hard drive in it. crashed a lot then found it viper sw virus that was causing problems. OTA update 2.1 on Pre 2 webOS does not.

I have a Pre 2 (webOS v2.0.1) p102ueu and I feel that there is an update to webOS v2.0.1 to 2.1 for this device. When I try to perform system updates, I get a message that my system is up to date, but that it was an error and I should try again. This has happened in the last three days. I tried to restart and it has no effect. Can someone please advise me what I do wrong?

Your device should see the 2.1 update, but as you experience this problem for days, you need to update via the option of webOS doctor. Go to www.palm.com/ROM to run the doctor on your phone. Latest update messed up my Thunderbird

Thunderbird updated a few days ago - but now when I run, I get a page that says "Thunderbird Mail - Local Folders' offering sections"ACCOUNTS"and"ADVANCED FEATURES"of the left column shows my files but I can not access unless I have select open in a new tab. And even then, I can't create a new message.

HP ENVY Notebook m7: BIOS update messed up my HDMI port

I put the laptop to 'sleep' last night and some automatic updates happened the day after. Today, the HDMI port does not work. I did a recovery of pilots, but that does not solve the problem. Then I went to update the BIOS, but I have installed version is F35 and what was available was an F11 Rev A version (the confusing part is that the F11 version had a newer version which date of the F35, 3 months). In any case, the option to install the F11 Rev A Bio was not available, making only one port USB of the BIOS recovery of other computers.

Help! I use HDMI for display on a big TV to run i, u; lator and watch TV Online.

Another thing you can try is to use the Microsoft Restore to restore the system to the previous point before the update: HP PC - use Microsoft System Restore (Windows, 10, 8)

iOS 9.2.1 update messed up my iPhone 5

How can I downgrade to iOS 9.2. ? Or what is the next update? Or when they're going to solve this problem? I see that many people have different types of problems with this update... With iOS 9.2.1. I have problems with opening my email, snapchat, facebook, let's just say almost everything. Everything breaks down and the app close immediately. Also, after the update, I've lost more than half of my pictures and they are not coming back.

Last update messed up my system.

The latest updates I have downloaded really screw with my system. Even if I used 'Restore' to go back, the system always displays the problem. Problem is, the system now has slowed to a few a crawl caused by two seconds the mouse pointer changes, changes to this circle of rotation, indicating that the system is busy doing something, then it closes, then goes back right and still once after a few seconds, that's to the point where everything I load up , like IE, takes a lot of time. Thanks for the tip. I just thought that I would come back to update everyone on this issue. It seems that, after a few days of having to put up with it, it is stopped without any intervention from me. I don't know what it was, nor at this point I even care, but after a while (on my system, in any case), it just stopped. I could not even tell if there was something specific he is, who was running in the background, which could have caused it. As far as I could say nothing other than running usually works (Windows stuff and my stuff installed). Well, I hope that it happens as well for others as it has for me. I'm just glad that it's over.

Recent update - mess up user profile/login

When I get to the Vista login screen, then connect, everything is there and will not load the profile/desktop. If I go to safe mode and go back to a previous restore point before this update, it works very well. I'm not in the machine now, I'll provide more specific model and updated information... anyone else having this problem. Phillip

Update Messed Up my computer

I downloaded the updates yesterday, and when I restarted my computer, today, missing my files on my desk and the computer has been revamped to the day I bought it. Everything I had set up on my computer (email, settings, files) had disappeared. Don't know where to start that everything is back to normal.

First thing to try is a system restore.

Disable your anti-virus software before using System Restore.

WANT n107na: HP ENVY latest BIOS update messed up my HDMI port

I had a message of support center app updated to the latest version of the BIOS I did 30 minutes ago and my second screen was working fine. After that I have updated BIOS my HDMI port does not recognize this second screen at all, what I do is just not responding. Any help would be much appreciated as I need this second screen as soon as possible.

Thank you for posting. I read your post and I understand that after you update the BIOS, your HDMI port does not recognize the second monitor any longer. I want to help you with this question.

What is the version of your BIOS in Device Manager?

Is - this version F.25 Rev.A?

If not, please update your BIOS again.

Also, update your chipset driver and the graphic and audio driver.

Turn off your laptop and monitor. Connect with a HDMI cable and turn on the laptop and check again.

Windows Update messed my username and password on all my computers savings program.

Need direction, I use Firefox as my browser and yahoo for my email. Since the updates for windows I can save is no longer my user name and passwords.
I understand the update of the program was done badly, it caused this for many people.

This has nothing to do with the Windows updates. It is a parameter of Firefox. Go to Options, Security tab and check passwords do not forget for sites. If this does not work, you may have a corrupt user profile.

Update messed up my computer, help.

If it doesn't, try a startup repair and / or a system restore using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft

Manufacturers recovery disks normally do not have Service Options; they are normally a relocation to the factory only settings option.

If a friend or a work acquantance of yours has one, you can borrow and use it for repairs.

Some tips on using Windows Update:

Microsoft gives sometimes you updates for the 3rd party hardware: graphics, network cards, etc.

You should only get the latest drivers for them to real hardware manufacturer's website, as Microsoft normally does nor those have the most recent drivers available as Microsoft relies of the 3rd party hardware Manufactuer to provide.

But unfortunately, the only way to know which is the update of the problem is to install them one by one, until you find the 'wrong' for your installation.

You can do a system restore to get back until it has been installed (which is NOT the best way to remove an update) or follow this method:
