1 email stuck in Outbox - how to remove?

I have an email stuck in my Outbox to the iPhone (now for 2 weeks) 6. There the circle dotted mobile next to him when I try to open it - I don't really know for sure that I created it-all that it shows is a URL to a site I have ever visited.

I restarted the iPhone several times during this period.

I looked on my Mac and they don't show anything in the Outbox. I even signed in iCloud.com to see if it would appear there so I could remove it-not here.

I have the latest version of iOS 9 all updates. Nothing else really showing problems with another iPhone that pretend have less battery life...

Any ideas how to deal with this?

Thank you

Tom

Go to flight mode, then the email will stop trying to send the message. And from there, you can remove your email not sent. If the circle always in motion even if you already spend on airplane mode, try to restart your phone. It works for me. Good luck!

Can drag you across the message in the Outbox overview to get the Red delete button? It's been a while since I had paste an email in the Outbox, so I don't remember if that's possible.

IF your account is an IMAP account, try to delete the e-mail on the Mac. Actions sync between devices in IMAP email, so they should be in the Outbox on the server and you should be able to get to them in the Mail from Mac application, use you it, or in a web browser on the server.

IF this is not possible for some reason, try the mail application to the phone reboots and the closing force force the phone and then try again. Press the Home button twice quickly. You will see small glimpses of your applications recently used. Blow up the Swipe on application brief mail app to close

To force the reboot your device, press and hold the two buttons of sleep/wake and home for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Try resetting your e-mail account. Then go to settings > Mail, Contacts, calendar > find your e-mail provider, click the account, and the blow to remove. Then restart the unit. Then go to settings > mail... and to add the account.

  • How can I delete an email stuck in Outbox of my iPhone?

I recently tried to send a video shot on my iPhone to an iPhone email using Apple's Mail application 5.  The email did not go out.  It is stuck in my Outbox apparently now trying 4 months actually download the video.  The thing just swirly swirling guard and nothing that I cannot delete or even reopen the email so I can change the video output or some other remedy.

I can't help but feel that this activity is part of what is slowing down my iPhone and devours my power.

Tried to reboot the iPhone, slide the loading message, trying to find on iCloud to deal with it, nothing works. (I does not appear in iCloud.  iCloud doesn't seem to have an Outbox) I also deleted just the video that attempts to download to send email of thugs.

Any ideas on how to remove this message in my Outbox?

Despite wha P'tit said below, I now use iOS 9.3.4 on my iPhone, but probably used all the latest version of iOS was in April when I shot the video and tried to send by e-mail.

I was not yet aware of this problem until recently.

What email account you are trying to send this with? You can try putting your device in airplane mode, then open your e-mail application, go to the Outbox, and then delete the mail. You can turn off the airplane mode after that. This should clear the error. Worst case, go to settings > Mail, Contacts, calendars and delete e-mail account, and then add it back again. I guarantee you that is a cause for the drainage of the battery prematurely.

Regarding what iOS you use, if you are referring to the information in the footer of your message box, which is defined in your profile. You can select your profile and edit this information by clicking on your name in the upper-left corner of the page, and then selecting your profile. The information is in the region of the lower there, and you can select the button Modify to the right of the information area you want to change.

It is said ' Message could not be displayed.  Windows Mail encountered an unexpected problem with this message. Search on your computer lack of memory or low disk space, and then try again. "It has an attachment, but I can't open or access to this somehow." When I try and delete it, it just says: "an unknown error has occurred."

  • e-mail blocked with email stuck in Outbox

I have an email stuck in my Outbox. When I tried to remove it, the little wheel goes round and round and it crashes. I closed the program, but each time I reopen it is frozen and there is no way to remove the stuck email. I tried to close my internet, but that does no good. I hope someone can help with this.

Start Windows in Mode safe mode and see if you can delete the message.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=Windows-7

If that doesn't help, do a repair and try again.

    Step 1

Click the Start button and go to the control panel.

    Step 2

Click the "uninstall a program". If you use the classic view of Control Panel, click on "programs and features".

    Step 3

Click on 'Windows Essentials 2012' in the list of installed programs. You need to scroll the list to check the entry. Click on the "Uninstall/change" button to launch the application from the installation program Windows Essentials 2012.

    Step 4

Click 'Fix all programs Windows Essentials' to repair Windows Live Mail. Once the repair has completed successfully, click on the close"" button.

If no help, I would ask that this be placed in the Windows Live Mail forum thread. It's late, so it can't happen until tomorrow.

  • Email stuck in Outbox

I have an e-mail with an attached file that is stuck in my Outbox.  It is causing Outlook Express to run very slowly.  I am not able to open or delete the email.  How can I get rid of him?

Check: File | Work offline and in: reviews | Layout: uncheck the preview pane. Can delete you it now?

    Otherwise:

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, 2K & 2K 3, files from user OE (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in the Solution Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX the Outbox.dbx file and delete it. A new vacuum will be created automatically when you open OE.

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Information on the maximum size of the .dbx files that are used by Outlook Express:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/?kbid=903095

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.
  • Emails stuck in Outbox if Wifi is on

I've had my Droid X on 2.2 for almost 3 weeks now and love the phone. Since the first day I got the Wifi and 3 G/1 X on at the same time. Since a few days ago, any email that I create gets stuck in the Outbox. I checked that the moment I turn off Wifi, e-mail turns off. I installed several applications and also received updates. But I am positive he was working until recently.

I've read dozens of messages with users say that they stuck in their e-mail boxes. The condition of the turn of Wifi and outgoing e-mail is totally re-be prepared.

    So:

    - Either, I downloaded an app that caused it.

-Something has changed with the Wifi settings I know.

    -My phone is broken.

As I said before, I am sure that I been using Wifi and 3G at the same time for weeks and it worked fine.

Ideas in addition to keep Wifi disabled? Does anyone know of a way to see a log of the dates when the apps have been updated or installed so I can start removing apps in a logical order to try to debug this issue?

    Thank you!

    1. first thing first...
Open your e-mail program > in the menu bar above, FILE > work offline.
Now let's see if you can remove those blocked e-mails.

    2. what email program are you using? Win 7 is your operating system, operating system, not an e-mail program.

    3. try to send a message is for you with the same e-mail address. You will receive an error message. Post this message in its entirety... verbatim. Do not use your own words, the message must be an original.
