10.11.3 upgrade kills applications and user data

After the upgrade 10.11.3 this morning my Applications folder is emptied down. No application will run more. For any application, it just says: "cannot open the application... because it may be damaged or incomplete." I run Chrome through dialogue about this Mac, try to run the docking station does not work. My Documents folders and images, downloads, Dropbox all appear empty in the Finder.

Is it possible to return to this particular update? I am aware that I can do a restore from backup, but my latest backup is too old.

Start the RecoveryHD and open disk utility and perform a repair disk

on the OS X volume (hold down the command-R during startup).  See if

    Hey Marcos.

    Are you sure you want to keep the user/schema configuration because it is now? I don't know the details of your needs, but it seems that you should use EVP instead of a single schema by user. In any case, I'll assume that you want to migrate to the APEX with the current configuration of the user/schema.

    You should know that an APEX application can only have a scheme of analysis. This means that you will need to create a separate application by user. Sounds awful, right? Think of your ease of management: a change in demand means that you will need to update each user's application. In addition, I'd stick to a single workspace since it is perfectly possible to assign several schema to a workspace. A workspace by user is less easy to manage and not necessary in your case.

    You say you deleted the user and the tablespace before removing the application.
    If so you probably have to manually remove the application, an example is available here:- cannot remove the application planning 9.3

  • Problem with export data from an application and importing data into another application

    I need to give a stream to an application (target) of one of the other application (source) of data. So what I did is I exported the data necessary for the application target using the DATAEXPORT function in text files and you now want to import data in text files in the application of the source using rules files.

    So, you have 12 periods through the columns of the export data?

    If so, you must assign each column of data at a time. The data column property is used only when you have completely defined the dimensions either through other fields or other areas and the header and the left point only possible is data. This does not work when you have several columns of data that you find, just so assign the right period; doing this means there is no column of data .

I understand the concept of storage of the applications of the user on the recordable disc, but what is the advantage of storing data of configuration on those disks if you already have a solution in place?     The writable volume is capable of storing user installed applications, profile data, or both depending on the model used in the creation. The reason why you would use one over the other can be simplified by explaining to the base that the Volumes of the App with data on the volume. Application of volume provides data. It changes nothing after delivery. Several solutions Manager user environment settings in some way. It's not that the App Volumes. So if you for example need to change application settings that are from a SQL database somewhere, there is a solution like Persona, AppSence, Immidio, etc comes into the mix. Volumes of app is able to provide a local profile as an accessible volume in writing. If you use roaming profiles, for example, the Volumes App can do a very good replacement. If you use AppSence to draw a frame based on some contextual connection settings, continue to do.

    The substitution of the #APP_VERSION model # seems to only be supported in Page header and footer definitions, not the body. (There are a number of restrictions where work substitutions, which are not well documented).

    I have several APEX applications.

    I would like a set of code I could follow each time a user connects in any application (connect the user, application, and the date/time of connection).

    Basically, I can tell the last time that someone logged, but I suspect that some of these applications but which are 'essential' are not very well used, have no good way to tell (some are look-up/reports only type applications).

    Is there an easy way, without going into each application, and add the code to achieve this? How can I get the name of the application of the system so I can use one standard piece of code.

    Did anyone done this before?

    Sorry, logs are deleted after 14 days. They alternate between two tables, so that you could do, build your own logging table and transfer the data BEFORE the expiry of the period of 14 days and you can follow too long you have given...

  • It is possible to run Easy Transfer after upgrading to Win7 AND AFTER installs all applications?

    Update of XP (32 bit) for Win 7 (64-bit).  Transfer easy on the old system and also saved.  Performed a clean install of Windows 7 without any problem.

    The instructions say to upgrade Win7, then run to transfer, and THEN install the apps.  Well, I have not read the instructions and correctly installed Win7, installed applications and now need to execute the transfer.

    That is problem?  It is even possible to run easy transfer now?  Should I reinstall all applications again?

    (I'm not worried for the part 32-bit to 64-bit, I just included this info with full disclosure).

    Thanks for the post brand.  the transfer is intended to capture data and the status of the user.  He didn't have much to do with the migration of the applications with the exception of the view that it is able to create a report that identifies what applications may need to be installed on the new machine.  in order to integrate the data of the machine inherited from the windows machine 7, we should have run the version of Windows 7 easy transfer on the Windows XP machine before recharging.

    If we capture the data of the XP machine before reloading, then we can re-read the data at any time - even after that applications are installed

    Here's hoping that you captured user data and the State with easy transfer before you wipe and reload.

    I feel your pain, but you can't do much. This is a known issue with AppWorld during the passage of the free paid, thats why this option is no longer available for providers.

    The only way to mitigate the damage, push a paid upgrade, say version 1.1. Make sure that the upgrade price paid matches the original price of app, otherwise it would be confusing to users.

    Advantages of such an approach:

    -Users who want to pay will be able to download the upgrade, you get the money

    Disadvantages:

    -You will get a lot of negative comments from users who have as free version

    -Those who have already purchased as paid app will have to pay to upgrade too

    I just upgraded from 4.6 to 5.0 on Windows 7 64 bit.  ADR 2 and Tomcat running.  The APEX and my app runs.  Images of the APEX are OK.

    Problem: Application and do not display images of working space.

    I copied the content of the APEX webapps\i images directory to the tomcat directory.

    I ran the two flavors of the loading image script, and each completed without error.

    I am able to log in administrator mode or developer APEX, and everything looks very good and works well.
