10 bricking my iPhone i0S

I am aware that people have had their iphones in brick after that 10 updated, and Apple iOS said it's been fixed, but my phone seems to be brick.

I downloaded the update on my phone and connected to itunes via USB when you ask him of the screen. It completely downloaded, and I clicked on the iphone eject button in itunes. Now it is stuck on the screen instructing you to connect the phone to itunes.

What should I do? Install the update again?

Your phone is in recovery. Something might have happened during the update. I suggest you do a recovery of strength using iTunes

Hello! I had the 10 iOS in iPhone is and it's cool! Di you know if I should get in iPhone 5, or it will get stuck? Thank you

Since iOS 10 is compatible with the iPhone 5, if you have not limited the space remaining on your device, I would recommend installation. Please note that this update is bricking many iPhones, so make sure you have a full backup of your data before you start the installation.

    Good luck.

iPhone 6s more stuck in the mode of the brick after downloading ios10. Cannot restore via iTunes. error 3014

After the update to ios10, my 5s iPhone seems to work very well. I reconnected it to iTunes and then it bricked, and I panicked.

iTunes synced a couple of times, it took about an hour and a half for me. After that it stopped its cycle of synchronization, I unplugged my iPhone - it still bricked. I then did a hard reset and it worked.

Maybe I got lucky, maybe my iPhone and iTunes need a kick in their buttocks.

  • January 19, 2038 brick iPhone 5

I just use my iPhone 5, and I went all the way until January 19, 2038 and somehow that it was bricked.

Why did you do that? Is - this another internet scam as the 1970 that promise magical results?

You can try to reset the unit by pressing the Home and Power buttons at the same time until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). If the Apple appears, reset is underway and the Slide to Unlock screen displays shortly.

If the reset does not work, you can try to put it in DFU mode to see if it will work: (Note: you must follow these instructions to the letter - if you have not, then it will not work):

    Enter Device Firmware Upgrade

    (DFU) mode

A device after entering DFU restore

mode, it returns to a known good state

with the certainty that only unmodified

Code signed by Apple is present. DFU mode

can be entered manually: firstly connect

the device to a computer using a USB

    cable, then hold both home

and sleep/wake buttons. After 8 seconds,.

    release the sleep/wake button while

    holding down home

    button. Note: Nothing is displayed

on the screen when the camera is in

DFU mode. If the Apple logo appear,

the sleep/wake button has been held down

    too long

If none of those working, then you need to take in to Apple to see if they can repair it for you.

  • Can I use the mini iPad charger brick 4 10W to recharge my iPhone 6 s?

I just upgraded my mini iPad to 4 and it comes with a larger loading brick - it looks like a mini MacBook charger block and is labeled as 10W. Is this compatible / safe to use to recharge my iPhone 6 s?  I wouldn't mess up one or the other. In addition, can I charge my iPad mini 4 with standard chargers for iPhone 6s, 6, etc.?

    Yes and Yes.

  • iPhone 5 s brick after the change of time

Hello, I was playing around with my settings Date & time and the clock to January 1, 1970. I stop my phone, rebooted, resulting in a bricked iPhone. I tried to restore, update, but nothing seems to work. Is there anything that apple can do for me? Looks like a bug on their part, and if there is a problem with the time Unix the phone should know better than to let the brick of the user of the phone.

Well, Apple (and any manufacturer) decisions are stupid of their clients. And I don't know that it has never occurred to Apple that someone would do something like the time setting for the start of the Unix clock, so they never tested. If you haven't done so already, consider doing a DFU restore:

    • Install the latest version of iTunes on your computer, if it is already there (note that the latest version requires Windows 7 or later or OS X 10.8.5 version or later version)
    • Restart your computer
    • Disable any antivirus and firewall
    • Launch iTunes
    • Connect the cable of the device to a USB port on the computer (not a USB hub), but DO NOT CONNECT to the DEVICE AGAIN
    • Press in and hold the HOME and SLEEP at the same time for 10 seconds exactly, buttons until the screen goes black, then release the SLEEP button but continue holding the HOME button. If the Apple logo appears then that now the two buttons, you who was held for too long; start over.
    • While holding down the button HOME connect the other end of the cable to the device
    • You should see a message in iTunes saying there were a phone in recovery mode (it can take up to a minute for the message appears). When you see this message release the HOME button and the device must be restored. When asked DO NOT restore a backup. set up as a new phone.

This process uses a primitive boot loader in the phone hardware and bypasses iOS completely, so it should not see even while the phone is set on. Please let us know if you try it and if it works. If not I suggest that he again.

  • How can I fix my (3rd party renovated) iPhone 5s which became brick?

I bought an unlocked iPhone 5s from a 3rd party vendor so that in the United States. I set up with a PAYGO of T-Mobile SIM card and used for two weeks in the United States and two weeks in the Mexico. On or around the day of the month of T-Mobile has expired, the iPhone has stopped working. It does not start (screen lights up, but it is white/black) and trying to do a factory reset with iTunes have failed.

Not yet bought a SIM card from a local supplier to the Mexico. The SIM card is the problem or is it the phone? Can what additional steps I take to reset? Is there diagnostic tools that will run on Mac OS X or Windows?

The phone would always start even without a SIM card. I contact the vendor that you bought the and see if they have the warranty at all.
