10 iOS safari screen do not scroll when you type text

After the iOS10 update, Safari is not scroll when I m typing text in a field text as here in a forum. I have to scroll the screen by hand for the position where type I´m. it occurs only in Safari, for example Pages works fine.

I use an iPad Air1, but have the same on my iPhone running iOS 10 6.

Is there any solution for this?  Thank you.

Hello Toy4ever,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community Support from Apple. I know how it is important to be able to effectively tap on your iPad, and I want to help you get things working again.

What I would recommend starting with a reboot of base and if the problem continues, you can reset the settings on your iPad. Despite the fear two-step attention, this does not affect your data. All of your content will remain intact.

You can always save your settings in iTunes or iCloud data before doing this reset. This link will guide you through backup if you choose to do so: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203977

What this does is actually reset some of your settings to factory default. This removes all data and applications, photos or contacts, but it removes all of your preferences for the Wi - Fi, Bluetooth, do not disturb, Notifications, general, sounds, contact ID, brightness & wallpaper and privacy, so we will have to define these things upwards after this reset.

Do this please go to settings > general > reset > reset all settings.

If the problem persists, the entire community is here to help.
Best regards

  • Letters do not appear when you type on a web browser

I have no problem typing in MS Word 2007, but when it comes to the internet, typing in a web browser, there not all letters as I type. A slow response to the keyboard.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Communities

I understand that some of the letters does not appear when you try to type on the web browser. Let me try and help you with the problem.

    1. what web browser do you use?

    2. have you tested the issue on several web browsers (if you have them)?

    3. have you started facing this problem recently? If Yes, are you aware or made a software or a hardware changes to the PC before this problem?

This occurs generally if there is a problem with an add-on installed on the computer.

I suggest to follow these methods on Internet Explorer and check to see if it helps to solve the problem:

    Method 1:

You can start by running the Fixit and check if this helps solve the problem.

Troubleshoot Internet Explorer to IE quick, safe and stable

    http://Support2.Microsoft.com/mats/ie_performance_and_safety

    Method 2:

If this does not help, start Internet Explorer in no add-on mode.

While Add-ons can enhance your online experience, they can sometimes interfere or conflict with other software on your computer. Try to start Internet Explorer without Add-ons to see if the problem goes away.

Step 1: Run Internet Explorer without modules

    ·         Click the Start button. Click on all programs, Accessories, click System Toolsand then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).

If the problem does not occur after you use this method, use Manage Add-ons to determine which modules are at the origin of the problem.

    Step 2: Manage Add-ons.

    (a) open Internet Explorer, click the Start button. In the search box, and then type Internet Explorerin the list of results, click on Internet Explorer.

    (b) click the Tools button, and then click Manage Add-ons.

    (c) click an add-on in the name list, and then click disable.

    (d) repeat step c until you identify the add-on that is causing the problem.

  • How to fix the text so it is not jumping when you type?

I have Windows 7 on my Dell laptop.  When I type "anywhere" the characters jump all over the page, I type in.  How can I fix it?

    Hello Michele,

A fairly common problem for laptops - its caused by the thumb, finger or palm (s) hit the Touchpad when you type. The infallible remedy only is an external mouse with Touchpad disabled. To do this, or just disable the Touchpad, go to control panel, select mouse properties and select the Touchpad tab in the top row of tabs.

This will open an applet that allows you to select the order of Touchpad buttons, a check box parameter to disable the Touchpad when an external mouse is detected.  If you want faster access to this setting, make sure to display the icon in the system tray is also checked, and you will be able to access this setting in the notification area (bottom right of the task bar, click the arrow to access the Touchpad icon).

To avoid problems to repeat in the future, make sure that if you go to Device Manager to "RID" the Touchpad you only disable the Touchpad as opposed to uninstall the Touchpad. If you uninstall the Touchpad, the next time you restart your computer, the applet will appear again back in place. You can only disable the Touchpad to get rid of him.

Let me know if this solves the problem for you.

    Kind regards

  • IE 8 on Windows XP: Favorites do not appear when you type in the address bar.

    System:

    -SP 3

    IE 8:

    Version: 8.0.6001.18702CO

I can't my favorites appear in the address bar when I type in.  I have removed/disabled all the parameters 'InPrivate', my 'Securty level for this zone"is set to"Low ".  I "restored the advanced settings.  I deleted all cookies, temporary files, history, etc.  Also, I tried to update my registry and that does not work either.  I reinstalled IE8 and it does not work.  I also ran a 'fix' and who does not.

Can anyone provide a viable solution?  Also, please don't refer to another thread.  Just put the answer in this thread.  It would be much appreciated.

My only thought is to reset Internet Explorer...

Tools. Internet Options > Advanced tab > reset > reset Internet Explorer settings > click on Reset

IE close and reopen, and see what happens.

My last thought would be have you started something new installed on your computer for this?

  • The mouse pointer does not hide when you type, even with the box checked.

Hello everyone.  I turned on the check mark in the properties of the mouse "hide the pointer during the strike".  However, the mouse pointer does not hide when typing, but instead remains visible all the time.

No one knows why this happens?  In previous versions of Windows, the pointer should simply disappear when keystrokes are typed, and then reappear when the mouse is moved.  Is not the case here!

    Thanks for any information!

    Hello

Welcome to the community of Windows Vista.

    1. what application you are working on when you encountered this problem?

Hide the mouse pointer option allows you only to remove the mouse curzor of
the focus in the working window so that the cursor does not cover the text or the pitcure you see.

Make sure that the curzor of the mouse is placed inside the app as you type, as it does not hide the mouse, if it is outside of the application.

Change the settings of the mouse

  • Since unpgrading to Firefox 4. When you type text there is a redraw problems causing several sliders to appear, and obliterates often part or entire od letters

There is a refresh problem that occurs when the text entry, regardless of the site or by email or a login form. Sometimes up to 5 sliders are visible especially if the back button back or a button is pressed quickly. Sometimes these sliders obliterate or obscure the letter makes it difficult to determine is that the letter was actually typed.
More when you try to select if the selection will be highlighted in a dynamic menu as a google search, that the selection cannot be made with the same mouse nothing ever happens and the only way to make it work is a combination of mouse and key.

It is a problem that does not occur when I try IE or Chrome. My preference is be Firefox

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the Add-ons is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

    • Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.

Safe mode disables extensions in Firefox 4, and disables hardware acceleration.

Hello and welcome to the community!

If you are certain that there is no intrusion of humidity of 100% (honestly, what you describe seems decidedly like that... but still), so I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, thinking... what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

Good luck and let us know!

  • When you type text in the forms, the vertical bar gets multiplied everywhere.

Often, when I am typing text into a form on different sites, whether it be Facebook or the same site, the vertical bar that follows the text input gets randomized on the line and appears more than once. The glitch disappears about half a second after I stop typing (as soon as the pipe character begins to Flash), but he always drives me crazy when I type something on a regular basis. You can find a screenshot of the action of a form of Facebook here: http://imgur.com/mNr9Y

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions of the origin of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

Safe mode disables extensions in Firefox 4, and disables hardware acceleration.

    • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

If disable hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

  • My mouse does not work when you type

Whenever I type in Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or ANY program for that matter, I try to move the mouse, and it does not work, but after I've finished typing, I can move my mouse again. I know that this does not seem like a big deal, but when I play games like Garry Mod (I try to play often, but it never works because I use A, W, S, D to move and the mouse to look around, so I can't) I can't look around, making the game practically unusable and not fun at all. I looked on the Internet for similar problems, and some have said that it must:

    «Edit the file "/ etc/default/mouseemu" and put 0 instead of 300 online»

    Code:

    "TYPING_BLOCK ="block - typing -"300"

Make sure to uncomment the line by deleting the symbol #. Finally, restart mouseemu entering

    Code:

    sudo /etc/init.d/mouseemu restart

    in the Terminal. (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=353162) »

I don't know what it means and if someone can help me in some way, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Sincerely,

    Alex H.

I can't comment on the proposed amendment that has been given.

I guess you already checked the mouse settings in case there is some fantasy in this utility who think you want that he disabled this way.  I can't imagine what that but there might be something that hides the mouse during the strike that is defective.  Disable all suspicious settings & try again - you might need to reboot to get a reliable result.

Initial checks, I would say go into Control Panel, Manager of devices.  Search for all the warnings on the mouse & the video adapter.  Update their drivers [right-click, update drivers].

If this does not work then check the compatibility of Windows http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-gb/default.aspx and check to your PC & manufacturers of mouse support sites for advice, including Windows 7 tips & updated drivers.

If this does not fix it then confirm the list of controls that you did & results back here.  Include your brand-model-version PC, the mouse brand-model-version, the version of Win7 & x 32 / x 64.

    Good luck with it,
