• Serial does not work to reinstall Acrobat Pro XI

  My hard drive crashed and I am trying to reinstall Acrobat Pro XI.  The program ask the serial number that I registered.  But the drop down menu options which the program, I have the serial number for any of them is XI Acrobat Pro for Windows.  What are my options.  It won't take the serial number for any of them.  Help?

  It seems that Adobe Acrobat Pro XI was an upgrade of one of the Acrobat versions available in the drop-down list.

  You must choose the exact version of Acrobat installed before Adobe Acrobat Pro XI & returns the key of this previous version in order to proceed with the installation.

  You can find the key of your earlier version of Acrobat by using this link to quickly find your serial number.

  you need a platform swap (Exchange a product Adobe of a different version of the language or platform) but which is only supported for the latest versions of adobe.

  You can get the upgrade pricing and exchange platforms, or use an abonnemement DC acrobat and use on both platforms.

  I bought a new Macbook Pro. In the process of migration of files from my previous laptop age of six year, I made the mistake of uninstalling my Adobe CC applications without first disable each one. (I must add that I have CC on another computer at home. I know that the problem of three computers with CC apps, I try to have only two. My old laptop is removed.)

  Troubleshooting call to reinstall, disable and uninstall again.

  When I uninstalled Acrobat Pro XI, it has disappeared from my computer. However, trying to reinstall, Adobe Application Manager says acrobat's "up-to-date". I saw no way to reinstall. So, I copied the XI Acrobat Pro to my other computer and it drags on my old laptop, hoping she work long enough to reinstall and turn off. PDF opens briefly, but I get an error 'Problem of Configuration, error 1', and then it closes.

  Regarding the bridge, the said Application Manager is up-to-date, but trying to reinstall in order to turn off, I get an error that my (10.6.8) operating system on the old laptop is too old to reinstall bridge CC.

  Can you help me to solve these two problems, so that I can get with the help of my applications Adobe CC on my new computer laptop?

  with a subscription to cc you are allowed installation on an unlimited number of computers.

  However, you can only sign on, at most, two computers at the time and you must be logged in opening programs cc.  already open programs seem to work perfectly, even on a 3rd computer but I have not tested who carefully and I rarely do it (by mistake).

  and you do not enable the programs of cc.  you connect.

  you disable programs cc.  you disconnect.

  and xi acrobat could come from your subscription of cc, but that is not the last acrobat and makes me wonder if you have a perpetual license, cc subscription or both.

  I am running CS4 Master Collection on PC Win 7.  I uninstalled Acrobat Pro a few months ago because I kept getting "data corruption" error when you use a PDF of DRM file.  I get with Adobe Reader for a while, but it takes Acrobat again to digital signatures, etc.

  I've loaded my installation media and selected Acrobat Pro for resettlement, but nothing happens when I click the button install.  The GUI just says: "Prepare for Installation" and it is there forever.

  I don't want to reinstall the entire collection CS4 just to get Acrobat back on my system...

  Any ideas?

  If you use Adobe Reader, then it has installed newer versions of PDF libraries and it's your real nag - up here. You need to get rid of him. Otherwise, you always have to reinstall the full package of CS4. selective install rarely ever works reliably and you can end up with a useless mess one way or another.
