100% use of the disc at the opening of Windows Media Player

Since around in April or may, I had the recurring problem in which my drive would draw up to 99% or 100%, without anything to really to do. I tried a lot of solutions in order to solve this problem, and it seemed that Firefox was related to the problem. Whenever I opened it, it would go to the top, and when I want to the farm, he must go down. At that point, I was never able to locate exactly the root cause, but not opening not FF would prevent the problem, so I just never.

A few weeks ago, the problem started to reappear, this time without Firefox causing the problem. It varies in severity, sometimes it crashes only for a minute, sometimes for long periods of time, where my computer will be completely immobilized. I tried a variety of solutions for this problem, such as:

-Increase virtual memory

-Disable Superfetch, Windows Update and Windows Search

-Using CCleaner to clean the registry

-Updating of the PC

-Manually update Windows (that I did recently, over 1 GB to missed day)

While it seems that performing Windows Update, the problem persists. In general, it seems that the problem does not occur now that if I open Windows Media Player. Earlier, the problem would happen certainly when I open WMP, but sometimes also just randomly. The computer will work fine, but when I open WMP, the use of the disc will go straight up to 100%, sometimes stay there until I got close, or sometimes will stay on its own. It is completely random. When I look in the resource monitor, nothing special seems to appear when that happens. Sometimes associated with WMP file will appear, and also the pagefile, but most of the time there is still some files that appear before the huge pic. I already have one and reinstalled WMP, but that doesn't seem to help.

For the life of me I can't figure out what to do to solve this problem. It's incredibly annoying, and occasionally making my computer unusable is a huge obstacle.  I also really want to use WMP again, as I still discover another media player that I love so much. In addition, if the problem is not fixed, I know, in the next few months, it will be just another program that causes this problem.
