104Key of Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3000 USB keyboard does not work with a KVM

I just bought v2.0 of 3000 Microsoft Wireless Desktop combo. I have a KVM switch for two rounds. My problem is the new keyboard switch, in general you simply press the [scroll off] button twice and it doesn't work. I tried to fix this by what I can find, but without success. I need help.

  • Satellite 3000-100: keyboard does not work

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite 3000 100 laptop. It worked without any problem. But suddenly the keyboard did not work! The other keys work always. What can I do?

    Thank you, homer108 (from Germany)

For me, it looks like a keyboard failure.
In this case, you need to replace the old keyboard with a new one.
The replacement is not very difficult. The keyboard is connected to the motherboard with the flat cable. To disconnect the cable from the motherboard, you'll have to open two small latches on the sides of s of connector and cable.

However, first you must order an ASP compatible keyboard which is responsible for your country. And if you have no experience with the replacement procedures, I recommend the portable computer technician, asking for help.

  • USB loader does not work with the Defy

    Hey people,

I myself built a USB socket for installation in my car (in a plug for one of the slots to spare for switches). Technically, it's really simple with a voltage of 5V regulator which limits the 12V battery voltage to 5V for USB. Because I want to only use the sockets to recharge USB devices

(iPod, phone, GPS,...) in the car, I left the data open pins. Today, I hung my little gadget up to a power supply of 12V, measured at the exit of the catch USB for correct voltage and polarity and then hung my Defy. Unfortunately, it does not work. I was pretty well clueless, what could be the issue so I asked some of my colleagues to hang their phone (HTC Desire, HTC Hero and HTC Desire HD), and each of them has worked well.

Someone has any idea of what I need to do to get this working? He wants to talk to the USB to determine what port it is connected to a Motorola phone (for some reason any)?

    Thank you very much!

    Jan

For your application, simply short-circuit the data pins.
