11.1.2.3 source adapter

FDMEE to work with EBS 12.1, do you still need to load/configure the source of adapter(ERPI-FIN-E1) in MDF?

I reread the doc of erpi - admin.pdf and cannot find anything referring to install card FDM for FDMEE to work.

Thank you

PR

Yes, if you always use FDM classic for your mapping and loading data to the target system, you would use the ERPi-end-E1 adapter to run the DL in FDMEE rule.

  • ERPi and FDM for 11.1.2.2 - adapter Source?

    Hi all

    Could you please help with the following questions concerning the ERPi and FDM for 11.1.2.2

    1. in general, what is a source adapter used for?

    2 in FDM installation package, there is an adapter (ERPI-END-E) for the ERP Integrator.
    I would like to clarify if my interpretation below is correct or not.
    My understanding is that this adapter allows automation of the ERPi data the performance rules of load in the application of FDM, which means that we can launch start the ERPi of planned work of FDM data loading State.

    Thanks a lot for your help.

    Hello

    1 Classic source FDM adapters are used to import data from the source system native support (EBS, SAP, ERPI) instead of files or databases. Let´s say that in some how the extraction process is already packed so you can extract the source system that the adapter don't

    2. you are right, ERPI is a product of the transition between the classical FDM and FDMEE (11.1.2.3), there are some features missing in ERPI FDM. Therefore, you had to use a mixture of ERPI and FDM in order to get full functionality. You use ERPI to extract the data and FDM to treat it (scripts, validation intersection report, etc.).

    11.1.2.3, gap is still smaller than that now we have scripts, report of validation of intersection and other features in FDMEE 11.1.2.3 (re-branded ERPI). The classic source of the FDM adapter still exists.

    In 11.1.2.4, as classical FDM is not available more-> no adapter source more :-)

    Hope that helps

  • Integration of PeopleSoft source FDMEE

    Hi all

    We have FDMEE 11.1.2.3 and PeopleSoft as a source system. Now, we have an obligation to connect our FDMEE to PeopleSoft to extract the metadata and the data and load it into the planning. In FDMEE administration guide, it says in this version, FDMEE automatically did most of the configuration of the ODI and we have only 3 steps manual as below.

    1. configure the database server based on the Source ERP system.
    2. place the physical patterns.
    3. set up the context of ODI to Global Code

    We did it and our FDMEE - ODI connection is successful, but we are not able to see fields of table of table source FDMEE Source adapter/Source entities screens... I know with certainty, that I'm missing a few steps here. So can you please guide me wit the steps required to integrate with PeopleSoft FDMEE.

    Thank you

    Siva

    You must link the logical schema PSFT_APPS with the physical schema of your TFTP in the GLOBAL context.

    Go to ODI Studio Console, topology, open the GLOBAL context, linking physical and logical servers.

    BTW, you don't need to turn the model. Diagram logical and physical links (which should be bound by default if you did anything change it manually?) and then to initialize your source system.

  • Can we use Source accounting entity group to load the data from multiple entities with a single rule to load?

    Page 79 of erpi_admin_11123200.pdf says that "reporting entity groups are used to extract data from several reporting entities in a single data rule execution.  I use standard EBS adapter to load data in HFM application, I created a group of entity made up of several accounting entities, but I can't find a place in FDMEE where you get to select/use this group... When you define an import format you type the name and select Source (e, g. EBS) system you can select Map Source (for example EBS11 I adapter) or the accounting entity (it is what I select to define data load maps), but not both.  Note that there is no place to select the Group of accounting entity...  Location check menu group entity drop-down but it doe not my group of accounting entity which I believe is anyway something different... and creating a location and pointing to a format compatible with the selected Source adapter is no not good either... I'm confused, so is it possible to load data from several reporting entities in one rule to load or am I misreading the documentation?  Thank you in advance.

    Do not leave the field blank in the Import Format. If leave you empty to the place, when you set the rule to load data (for the location with EBS as a Source system), you will be able to select a single accounting entity or a group of accounting entity.

  • Open Interface Adapter running bad scenario

    Hi all

    I modified the adapter to open at loadf interface data in the AIF_OPEN_INTERFACE table. I tested my procedure which worked very well.

    I modified the package Open Interface balances and inserted the procedure above in steps.

    But when I ran the data rule was running a COMM_LOAD_BALANCES scenario which was not for the interface Opoen.

    I made the game for open interface adapter it was not running the Open Interface package balances at all.

    Help, please.

    Thank you

    Ravi.

    COMM_LOAD_BALANCES is a common module, executed by FDMEE for each rule data loading.

    Have you configured in FDMEE your source adapter and the system source and import format (script to regenerate), location...?

  • FDM to connect to a relational source and target

    I'm new to this tool. I have a few basic questions. I based my research, but could not find a clear answer.

    Can I connect to a relational table as source and target for an application of FDM. Relational source isn't eBS or other applications, just a relational table. I would like to load the same data from a relational table to another table using FDM. I'm looking at the wrong tool? Should which adapter I use? ERPI source adapter is? Which adapter target?

    Can someone please you suggest? Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    If you're new to this tool, you should know that FDM won't 11.1.2.4.

    It is replaced by FDMEE which is already available in 11.1.2.3.

    In all cases, you can extract data from relational db by using a script of integration. FDM doesn't load data to a target database not Hyperion EPM but you he could get it works using the custom script.

    Concerning

  • Integration with OLAP Source FDM script

    FDM has the ability to extract data from a system of OLAP source such an Essbase cube? Looking at guides and more specifically the example script of integration, it is oriented to relational backend. I know by nature, is not what I am asking, so the issue is with the case any script is this possible at all?

    Thanks to you all

    You can write a script that will run a script to calc dataexport but he is not a native import script or source adapter for it.

  • Source of FDM adapters

    When you go through the road to use an adapter of the FDM Source to provide the file Source GL trial balance as opposed to the generation of a file flat of the GL, is the Source adapter also out a flat file? Or is it a copy of the live table and insert them into the tables of FDM?

    To clarify:

    When I generate a flat file Balance.txt trial for the GL and I have import on FDM, the file flat itself is transferred to the Inbox and folder name respectable location in the Inbox, as it is then treated through FDM.

    If I use the Source adapter to extract information from GL, it also create a flat file and place it in the Inbox? Or is it simply to copy the data to the tdataseg FDM tables and does not produce an audit trail of txt file of what it pulled?

    Thank you!

    Depends on your version. ERPI is 11.1.1.3 + source for EBS adapters are 11.1.1.1 by 11.1.1.2. Both create flat files.

  • SAP to the requirements of the EMP

    Hello

    What are the requirements for SAP to the integration of the EMP. According to my knowledge, I want these things:

    (1) FDMEE installed

    (2) SAP fdmee adapter (bristlecone pines)

    (i) is this adapter is free? or I have to pay for map fdmee SAP.

    (II) I must add map SAP data management-> Configuration-> registry-> source adapter? fix?

    (3) what do I need on the side of GL SAP? SAP never seen before.

    Thank you for your help in advance.

    Concerning

    Hi JanGLi,

    All your doubts will be erased when you download the adapter on the site of bristlecone pines. You will get an installation/configuration file which will give you all the information you need.

    The map varies with the version. I've implemented successfully on 11.1.2.3.530 FDMEE. Honestly, this type of pain if you do not follow the process correctly. But all the bugs are fixed in the new patch and Oracle has certified that this patch will be the best for the integration of SAP.

    Once integrated with success (at least successfully reverse engineering) you will need create all objects like import formats, locations, mapping of data load rules etc...

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you

  • Can only mediator handle/support both request and response

    Hi all

    I have developed interfaces SOA (11 g, Jdev 11.1.1.2.0) which has the applicant ABC, ABC and ABC of provider Ombudsman.
    I use the AccountingEntry EBO and CreateAccountingEntryListEBM.

    1 / in the applicant ABC (synchronous process), is called the database/table, data are sent to the EBS (Ombudsman ABC), also the Ombudsman sends the data to the provider ABC (synch process) where SAP is invoked and response is returned to EBS (Ombudsman ABC) and any further BSE sends the response to the provider when am store the answer back in the table/database

    application: applicant-> EBS (plectrum)--> Provider (SAP)
    answer: provider-> EBS-> applicant

    The issue I'm facing is with mediator ABC
    1 / in the scenario current, using two mediators, one for the application and another for the answer, am not able to capture the response of SAP (provider ABC) even if the response is sent by SAP, so think for one Ombudsman.
    2/when I use only one mediator who is to handle the request and response, mediator does support this. Please let me know your veiws and apprecaite your help.

    Kind regards
    Mehboob

    I've developed a scenario by using the AccountingEntryEBO, using 10.1.3.4 (not the 11 g version you use)
    However for my scenario, you can replace BSE with the Ombudsman.

    We had the following processes:

    1 source adapter (BSE)
    2. the applicant (BPEL) ABC - when this process called the EBS, with an Invoke, you must use a set of correlations (see below), then there is a stage of reception where it waits for a response that also uses the correlationset even.
    3 EBS (BSE)
    4. the ABC (BPEL) provider - call the target adapter and on completeion successfully, then called the EBSResponse process
    5 lens adapter (BSE)
    6 EBSResponse (BSE) - think of the ABC's of the applicant
    7 SourceAdapter update (BSE) - this adapter updates a flag on the table to say that it has been delivered with success or failure. (but can also be used to return values according to your requirement)

    Definition of CorrelationSet
    --------------------

    Properties = "ns1:CreateAccountingEntryListEBSReqMsg_CreateAccountingEntryListEBM_EBMID_prop" / >

    Invoke
    ---------

    partnerLink = "AccountingEntryEBS."
    portType = "ebs:AccountingEntryEBS."
    operation = "CreateAccountingEntryList."
    variableentree = "CreateAccountingEntryListEBSReqMsg" >

    value = "AccountingEntryEBSCorrelationSet".
    model = 'out' / >

    Receive
    ----------

    variable = "CreateAccountingEntryListEBMRespMsg."
    createInstance = "no".
    partnerLink = "CreateAccountingEntryListJDEOneReqABCSImpl."
    portType = "sonabcs:CreateAccountingEntryListJDEOneReqABCSImplService."
    operation = "CreateAccountingEntryListEBSResponse" >

    value = "AccountingEntryEBSCorrelationSet" / >

  • FDMEE: Mapping period Source Open Interface Adapter

    Hello

    I want to use open interfce adapter to load the data into FDMEE (AIF_Open_Interface) from a custom SQL Source where periods are in rows and the data in the last column of the SQL table, like

    Fyear account period given currency entity

    2012 1 10000 100022 USD 171778.87

    2012 1 10000 100022 USD-10343

    Please suggest, how can I put these data in FDMEE?

    Thank you very much!!!

    Hello

    First, there are the custom table of adapter open interface with data from sql table:

    (1) with external tools

    (2) BefImport script

    (3) amending the ODI project for open interface adapter

    You can configure mappings period source to extract data for desired periods.

    The three important fields in period source maps are YEAR period name and period number

    The year should be 2012

    The period number should be 1

    Period may be JAN (you can import this value in the table to open using any SQL function interface to get the name of the month based on the number of months you have already)

  • Digitization and adaptation of impedance of the signal source entries

    I'm trying to measure the voltage difference and the time between the two entrances of a USB-5132 digitizer. The switching interval that I try to capture is ~ 150uS and I intend to acquire ~ 25K samples (50MS/s for 500, although it is an overdose of sampling frequency). The digitizer is 1 M ohms entered and I wanted to use the 100 SMA 50 ohm cables to connect to the source of the signals which in addition to several kohm impedance. My knowledge of RF is low and I am concerned about the impedance matching between the digitizer inputs, impedance source and wiring. What kind of considerations to I need to avoid degrading the signal? The switching signal is pulse-like and is rich in harmonics and on a sample of 500K samples/s scope is represented accurately. Should what kind of considerations I do about the impedance?

    Hi William,.

    There will be some problems if you try to use a source that has an impedance of several kohms. You will probably get the reflections of signals. What is the source of your signal has several kohm impedance?  I'd take a peek through the following article Developer area that describes some of the considerations when it comes from impedance matching. Specifically, I would check the last section corresponding resistive. This should give you a better idea of what to worry about your application.

  • MagSafe adapter does not work after all the stuff that followed and merge card Ok?

    My Megasafe duck-head adapter used with a Macbook pro has stopped working while my back was turned!

    After trying all the controls and the actions described in the Apple support pages, it always dows not turn on or show any current to the small pins when checked with a multimeter.

    It is the death of the adapter or can it receive some kind of CPR?

    Chris.

    Hello!

    Could specify you which checks and actions you have done already?

    Your MacBook came with both a cable to connect to the power supply and plug adapter. Could you try both to see if it works? You might just have a broken charger.

    Please find instructions for that here: reset the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac - Apple Support

    If the battery is good behaviour

    1. Stop the Mac.
    2. Plug the MagSafe or USB - C adapter to a power source and to your Mac.
    3. Use the built-in keyboard, press shift-control-Option on the left side of the keyboard, then press the power button at the same time.
    4. All the keys to unlock, then press the power button to turn on your Mac

    If the battery is removable

    1. Stop the Mac.
    2. Unplug the MagSafe from Mac power adapter.
    3. Remove the battery. (Learn about removing the battery in the MacBook and MacBook Pro computers).
    4. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
    5. Reconnect the battery and the MagSafe power adapter.
    6. Press the power button to turn on the Mac.
