Computer laptop lid/top (surface behind the laptop screen) allows you to travel light screen in there because it was very translucent and is clearly visible and resembles a rectangular patch. I don't know if it's a design flaw with many HP 15 mobile games or if it is specific to my laptop?

  • HP Pavilion dv6-6135dx Enterta: how to use the recovery discs

I have a HP Pavilion dv6-6135dx Entertainment Notebook PC laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Service Pack 1. All Windows updates have been installed. I did a scan for sfc.exe. Empty folder of Pendingrenames then the scan has begun with this empty folder. Once the scan has been done there 2 156 files in the folder Pendingrenames put by sfc.exe.

The CBS.log log shows more than 2500 pages of problems reported by sfc.exe/scannow. It's huge to be listed here. Most seem to be related to the 'stores' relative to the updates of Windows that have been downloaded in the past months. Looks like there are about 6 500 system files corrupted reported and not of miracle.  I think that "WinDoze" people don't like me not with nearly 90% of the corrupt files were caused by the downloaded Windows updates.

The newspaper says in 95% of the problems, he was unable to remedy. I don't have a Windows 7 installation DVD because my OS is an OEM installation so I can't perform a "repair Windows". My only recourse seems to use my HP recovery disks. There are 3 DVD, numbers 1 and 2 seems to be the recovery of the DVD and number 3 seems to be a kind of supplement, possibly having to with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Service Pack 1.  Don't know what the 3rd DVD or how to use it. Any suggestions what it is and how to install it would be greatly appreciated.

Someone at - it suggestions as what I can do, in addition to a full recovery. My restore points do not go back too far that when these Windows updates have been downloaded and installed.

Is there a list of the Windows updates & Windows somewhere that should not be loaded with this operating system? I plan to install all updates "critical", "largest". I might just give up those optional. I downloaded and tried the update Rediness tool (SURT) system which was a complete exercise in futility. Just made me more the corrupted system files.

Would appreciate any help that I can use with this. I look forward to a full recovery, since it will take me several hours to reinstall all my programs.

  • HP pavilion dv6: HP Pavilion dv6 has stopped working

    Hello

I have a HP pavilion dv6 i7 - 4 GB RAM model, I bought in 2011. The laptop worked fine until yesterday. But a sudden power cut has caused its judgment as the back of the battery is close to zero. But later when I tried to load and restart, the laptop simply did not. I can see the charge works very well, but none of the lights (power, caps lock, etc.) are on.  Even after using the old method of draining any static battery in the laptop (by pressing Start button / stop for nearly 30 secondds), the portable computer simly does not start. There is no visible boot, that nothing displayed on screen as the laptop itself is not able to start.  I tried to reset the RAM by removing and re - install in accordance with the procedure prescribed by HP. But, still no effect.

(There is no previous repair/replacement in my laptop. Thus, all parts are those which are authentic HP)

The situation is completely distraught for me because nothing is displayed on the screen. I have no idea if the laptop is under tension, or not. Although I tried restarting without battery. The results were the same.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hi @Durvank_Yewle,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems, with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook and laptop does not turn on. Try perform a reset.  There are many tips here.

When you perform a hard reset note remove all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices.

Plug the adapter into a different wall outlet. Do not connect it a power strip, surge arrester, or secondary power source as this could cause and issue.

Here is a link to computer does not start for Windows.

Here's a video that might help. It shows you how to reinstall the HARD drive, which is sometimes useful.

Please let me know how it goes.

    Thank you.

    Hello:

I don't see that you can order online at HP.

You can contact HP technical support and see if you can order a set by phone.

If this isn't the case, you can always get a game from this provider.

    • HP Pavilion dm4 Notebook PC (laptop)

    • RAM: 6.00 GB
    • System type: 64-bit
    • Operating system: Windows 7 Home Premium
    • The version of the BIOS/Date: Hewlett-Packard F.17, 25/01/2013 (latest version of the BIOS)
    • Video card: Radeon HD 6470 M and Intel HD Graphics 30000

    Question:

As you can see the attached picture explains my problem.

    Additional information:

    • How it started: one evening I booted up it (at startup video card: Radeon HD 6470 M) > I did not open any file or run programs, given that I have heat at the start at least 2-3 minutes > frozen screen > restarted on its own > BSOD (attached above Image) will not go away.
    • This BSOD once and has never been resolved since it occurred.
    • I like to play games on this laptop that includes; League of Legends LoL aka, installed other than LoL I also have the call of Duty series (from "World at War" until the last present "ghosts"), Red Alert 3, Red Alert 3 Uprising and HAWKX of Tom Clancy.
    • I usually play LoL at least a total of 2-5 h. / day.
    • My laptop is properly vented / cooled. (I have my laptop PT placed on 4 cylinders, leaving her underwear and its sides free of any obstructions. It is placed in front of an electric FAN. I also use the air conditioning if I do not use the electric fan)
    • Max temperature reaches at least 75-80 degrees Celsius during the game (Normal using search, but I still do not know if its Normal)
    • Idle temperature is somewhere between 55-65 degrees Celsius.
    • Radeon HD 6470 M Graphics Card is currently disabled in the Device Manager.
    • I live in a Tropical climate, Southeast Asia (help?).
    • I have switchable graphics cards, I currently use the integrated video card (Intel HD 3000 graphics card) by disabling the Radeon 6470 m from the device via the Boot Manager on Safe MODE.

    I have...

    • Uninstalled the graphics card (Radeon 6470 m) via (Safe Mode) Device Manager, rebooted the laptop as to allow it to reinstall the video card. (> Screen blacked out > BSOD---> >()has NO WORK)
    • Cleared out and my registry using CCleaner --->>> ()has NO WORK)
    • Uninstalled the graphics card (Radeon 6470 m) through the device (Safe Mode), passed to Intel Graphics Manager, downloaded the latest drivers Radeon 6470 M by downloading the latest Catalyst drivers from AMD Web site > after completing the download and installation > laptop black screen still works because I can still hear the fan running, the capslock, touchpad, mute and wifi light switch is still sensitive. > had to force stop via a long press on the power button / > restarted > BSOD --->>>()has NO WORK)
    • Removed my battery, kept the the cell phone charger plugged in, , while in safe mode, I have disabled the Intel HD 3000 graphics card then will revive Radeon 6470 m > restart > enter screen flashed a second then blocked with a black screen (touchpad, capslock lights mute switch rocker react) > had to force reboot > BSOD. --->>> ()Did NOT WORK)

    Finally...

    • In reading many forums about this issue, I hope that it is a software and not a hardware problem cause someone says this "the answer is you start Windows in safe mode, which will kill the drivers from the mixture. If you STILL get the BSOD in safe mode, then you more than likely a hardware problem. »

(Sorry for the CAPS, I think this is very important)  My CMOS BATTERY IS DETACHED, I DON'T KNOW WHEN OR HOW it HAPPENED AND NO PROBLEM whatsoever has OCCURRED, IT IS CURRENTLY LOOSELY ONCE MORE AND I STILL DON'T KNOW not WHEN OR HOW IT is THEN THAT EVERYTHING IS IN ORDER THE SETTINGS DATE/TIME RESET OCCURRED ONCE WHEN I PUT THE BATTERY IN ITS HOUSING ORIGINAL , BUT like WHAT I SAID EARLIER HE SECONDED in some SORT AND IS STILL DETACHED BUT MY SETTING DATE/TIME IS NOT reset AT ALL (I did research that has detached/removed/off power CMOS battery would keep those type of setting to reset every time you start upward)

    • I have not yet tried to reinstall Windows 7 since it is my last resort
    • Any form of advice or suggestions are welcome
    • Ask me anything about the problem
    • Correct me if I did any kind of error
    • I'm sorry for any incorrect grammar for English is not my native language

I'll be waiting for your answers and please READ message from all. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME! : D

It might be time to start thinking about a clean reinstall of windows

  • Problem with my HP battery

I use HP pavilion dv6000 and HP Probook 4530 s. my friend has told me that I "should be charging my computer after disconnecting the batteries because that prolongs the life of my batteries." But someone said I'd better to not disconnect the battery while using since my computer can burn or explode (so, tell me, what I'll do.?) Are my computers designed switch, which automatically selects the right power supply

We received another message asking essentially the same question:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-hardware/laptop-battery/TD-p/845709

It is probably not a good idea to try to remove the battery while the computer is running although I'm more concerned about a fall of fire or explosion. There is a smart chip inside the battery and the circuit corresponding to the laptop that will detect if you're on the battery or power supply, Yes.

  • Pavilion 15-P189na: 15-p189sa

    Hi guys

    I recently bought a 15-P189na which I think is the same as a 15-P189sa.

Anyone know where I can download the drivers for the following for Windows 7

    Touchpad driver

    Audio driver Beatsaudio

    Feature key driver

I have managed to find the driver of chip intel and wireless but cannot find the drivers for the above, what versions of windows 8.

    Thank you very much

    Adam

    Hello:

You should be able to use the W7 x 64 drivers and the software of this model to yours except the BIOS and firmware files.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?OS=4063&LC=en&cc=us&DLC=en&sw_lang=&product=7174370#N16274

There is no Fn key driver.

Have you installed the graphics driver?

If this is not the case, the graphic will be pasted on the maximum brightness and you will not be able to change the resolution of the screen.

If the driver is installed, normally you can control the brightness with the function keys.

  • Pavilion 15-p189na: what do the suffixes part numbers?

    Hello

I just bought a Pavilion 15-p189sa from PC World.  The product provided did the suffix na rather than its IE Pavillion 15-p189na on the box.  I can't determine what the suffix difference refers from the HP website.  Please could you explain the difference.  Have I was sold to a different specification item, it is not what I thought I was buying or the suffix refers to something else?

    Concerning

    Wphil

I finally got a response from PC World (UK) who had consulted - HP

Pavilion 15-p189sa performance specification is the same as the Pavilion 15-p189na.  The last part of "na" is the newest element and has a slightly different appearance of cosmetics, it has a textured finish for the cover.

I'd say it's probably that would be the same for similar HP laptops from PC World at the moment.
