12.4.0.119 - the new drop-down menu media Type STINKS

Did someone else annoyed with back to a drop down for selection type media (TV, movies, music, etc.)?

Bad choice for ease of use - please come back by showing all media types - this isn't like iTunes is default screen real estate in this area...

I like the new way better.  The buttons were too small, and some of the icons were not obvious just by looking at them.  Now it says clearly music, movies, TV shows, Podcasts, audiobooks, iTunes U, etc...

If Apple had done this way first and then switched to the buttons, you would say, "What is the problem with these little buttons?"

  • When exporting my image in LR I select my brand of water in the drop-down list. Then I need to select 'Edit watermark' since the same drop-down menu in order to replace it. When I do that and click 'done' the watermark disappears in the export me

When exporting my image in LR I select my brand of water in the drop-down list. Then I need to select 'Edit watermark' since the same drop-down menu in order to replace it. When I do that and click 'done' the watermark disappears in the box menu to export. When I click on "Export" the image exports WITHOUT my watermark. Help, please. As I did about everything that has been suggested in this forum and I still have this problem.

I saw that too. For now, the workaround is that if you select 'Edit watermark,' when you are done editing be sure to reselect the same watermark. If you do not, the watermark menu will be empty.

It seems to be a known bug that occurs only in the current version. If all goes well, it can be fixed in the next update. There is a page for her on the Photoshop/Lightroom Feedback site. I've added my vote to the page:

  • Remove the new drop-down list menu search entirely (again!)?

Since the upgrade to 43.0.1, there is a small window to appear whenever I type in the search bar, just like how it was there are several versions (see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1035637 for the previous issue). I have suggestions search disabled, and I have browser.search.showOneOffButtons set to False in topic: config. How to make this new drop-down window disappear?

"browser.search.showOneOffButtons" was a temporary pref from Firefox 34. The underlying code that have supported this preference is gone like Firefox 43.

https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/ has an option for old search (experimental) in Options of CTR > UI (1)

  • Drop down menu employment type missing something...

It is a bit of a question "What's up with that" and not serious, but it bothers me.

If you choose "yes" to "Help Improve products Adobe" (and I also think that it is also in the registration of the product) you are presented with a bunch of drop-down menus with basic information: location, Type of organization, size of organization, Type of employment. Yet, the menu type of work is not my work - Publisher or even Designer (editor): I went with Software Engineer, who's not completely far-fetched since I specialize in edition techology.

Now, I'm used to other software products not having no not this, but it comes to InDesign. Maybe I don't think just not to that right, but shouldn't a publication software have "' in the menu drop-down editor job type? It seems elementary good sense, unless they think that the people actually involved in publication technology would not use InDesign.

The people who design these things live in their own universe, I think.

  • I don't like the new drop-down list of suggestions, how can I disable it?

for some reason now in google search bar, there are suggestions of sites in a drop-down list when I type in the search bar. I don't like, it just started and I would like to know how to disable

    Thank you

    Heidi

Disable search suggestions by right clicking the text field in the search bar and remove the mark in front of "Show Suggestions".

Click the search engine button and open "manage search engines".

At the bottom of this window, there is a box of [X] "see search suggestions."

  • Where is the button drop-down menu to go back to specific pages while I have read recently?

After "redevelopment" of Firefox 4, I found that I have in the back or forward buttons, but what happened to the drop-down list that allowed select among recently viewed pages I want to return directly to?

So far, I'm ABSOLUTELY not impressed with this "new and improved" version of Firefox because he took more than one of the tools I use and value more.

  • Firefox 3.6 has been a "bookmark all tabs" in the Favorites drop-down menu. How can I "bookmark all tabs", using Firefox 4.0.1

I've recently updated to Firefox 4.0.1 of Firefox 3.6. Firefox 3.6 had a "bookmark all tabs" in the menu bookmark in the menu dropdown. It is not a "bookmark all tabs" in the bookmarks menu of Firefox 4.0.1 on the menu drop down. This feature has been removed since Firefox 4.0.1? If I want to save 24 tabs in a window of Firefox and 14 tablets in another window of Firefox, should I save all tabs individually? How can I set options, preferences, etc. so that I can "bookmark all tabs" at the same time in a window of Firefox 4.0.1. I use Firefox 4.0.1 on a desktop computer with Windows7 professional OS with Firefox as my default browser.

Right-click on a tab and you will be able to bookmark all tabs. Or use the Alt + B keyboard that opens old style menu. You can make changes to Firefox, as explained in this post: /questions/799856 #answer - 155765

  • Hovering over the triggers Drop Down Menu event "mouse Leave"

Hi, if anyone can help with this problem, I would be very grateful.

I have a tab control changing to another page when the user enters or mouse leaves the tab control. The purpose of this is so that the tab control becomes invisible when colored 'transparent', according to the movement of the user's mouse. This allows the full screen to use to display the video when the menus are not necessary, and menus can be displayed when the user enters into the surface of the tab. There is also a button to lock the menu in place.

It worked fine until I added a few rings of text to a menu tab. When the user clicks on the drop-down arrow and hovers over the elements, the case of the event as if the mouse has left the tab control, tab resets back to page 1 (white page). I don't want to do it, but I still want to use the drop down menus because they are more concise and more convenient than the alternatives (listboxes, etc.). This does not happen with the buttons and other controls, only with the drop-down menus, AFAIK.

Can anyone suggest a work around? I chose this method of relaxation because it is less demanding in processor using the mouse move event coordinates to trigger the tabs appear. I need to save so much time processor for video capture possible. I enclose my vi (Labview 2010 32-bit) with the gray tabs so you can see and test the value for yourself.

I would add one for the event to "Operate the Menu Activation" for the controls of the ring.  This simply fuels a real constant in a shift register in time loop.  In the mouse enter and leave events add a case structure and change the pages only when the value Boolean false.  Ensure that supply the true value in the registry to offset in the mouse leave case also (other cases may use the Default of False if you don't have to string wires in all cases).

Quick MOD after extraction of the stuff IMAQ, remove also the delay in case of loop Structure, provides it ARE necessary delays.

    Hi Vinod Kumar Sethi,

    What program do you use?

You can try the following steps and check if it works for you.

Step 1: Uncheck the privacy options of the taskbar and Start Menu Properties. To do this, follow the steps mentioned below:

    (a) right click on the taskbar and click Properties

    (b) go to the Start Menu tab > untick or clear the following options under the protection of personal information

Ø programs to display and store recently opened in the start menu

Ø store and display items recently opened in the start menu and the taskbar

  • Delete entirely new drop-down search menu?

A new drop-down menu appears in the search bar today and I would like to remove it * entirely *. I mean, I would have preferred NO animation box/drop down menu either--just the scope of research in and of itself, nothing more, just as it was before today. Is this possible?

In other words, even though I emptied the menu drop-down search options, it always appears and begins to jump around whenever I search, is a useless gene. While I see that I could find this new feature useful at some point, for the moment, I prefer to turn it off.

    Firefox version 34.0.5
    Windows XP SP3.

You can return to the former regime of the search like this bar.

Open Subject: config (typed in the address bar)
Do a right click and toggle this false preference

    browser.search.showOneOffButtons

    Then restart Firefox.
