12 iTunes import to the AAC version
Hello, I saw that iTunes 12 has no option to import a MP3 to AAC in the context menu. Well, I want to know: how to do that with this new version of iTunes?
My iTunes version is 12.4.0.119
Thanks for the help!
Nevermind, I did it. You must go to 'file-> create new version-> AAC' in the toolbar

Hi, I imported/ripped music in form of wav files using WMP first and imported into itunes so that I can sync w / my ipod but itunes recognized only the first words of the music info (generally the number of song, title, ect). ITunes would allow me to change the info. So I decided to import my 7 000 more songs again using itunes, in the hope of finding the songs via watched folders to WMP. Well, that was the case, but he only identified the song number and the title. Now, I have a long list of other/unknown.
I can get information in WMP via "Find album information", one song at a time, but that would take forever. I imported 318 songs to date. I use wav files to maintain the quality of the sound. Can someone tell me an easier way?
Hi MarkyB13,
You might have items in your library in Windows Media Player that have missing or incorrect media information.
You can check out the following link and check if it helps:

Impossible to update to the current version of the software
My iPad would not be updated wireless, so I tried to do it via iTunes (I have the current version). However, when I connected to iTunes, the summary indicates that my iPad is updated with IOS 9.3.5 (even when I choose Control upgrade). Suggestions as to how I can update? No harm in updating my iPhone.
An iPad 2 can't be updated past 9.3.5. iOS 10 requires at least a processor A6.

We complete your itunes store request. the cnnection network has expired
What should I do to solve this problem. said that the network connection has expired. We will complete your itunes store request
Thank you
iTunes is facing problems of connection to the store regularly, which are usually the result of one of two things: the version of iTunes or your network connection. I usually recommend to make sure that iTunes is on the latest version before you download anything in the store, because Apple seems to have incompatibility issues when you try to make purchases using an older version of the store. The other possibility is you use WiFi and your signal strength causes the connection to remove.

I have the macbook pro (OS 10.6.8) and the iphone 6 s. The latest version of iTunes is 11.4. When it is connected to the MAC, I get the message that itunes must be upgraded. How to synchronize or import/export files(images/music)? Fact is need to update itunes?
Hi sonalnj,
I understand that you cannot synchronize your iPhone as iTunes is requested it must be updated. I can help you with that.
According to the technical specifications for a 6 s iPhone, you need a Mac running OS X v10.8.5 or later version with iTunes 12.3 or later. Because you are on OS X 10.6.8 your version of iTunes is up to date with this OS.
iPhone 6 s Tech Specs
http://www.Apple.com/iPhone-6s/specs/Now to fix that, you need to update your Mac OS X 10.8.5 Mountain Lion or OS X 10.11 El Capitan. If you want to go to the Mountain Lion, you can do it with the first link below. The cost will be $19.99 and a code will be delivered to you if you can download it via the Mac App Store. Once you have upgraded, be sure to make all software updates to go with him to get the latest version of iTunes.
OS X Lion mountain
http://www.Apple.com/shop/product/D6377Z/A/OS-x-mountain-lionNow the other option is to move to OS X 10.11 El Capitan, and is a free update that you can do right in the Mac App Store, if you meet the system requirements. Take a look at the following article for more details on how to do it.

I have the macbook pro (OS 10.6.8) and the iphone 6 s. The latest version of iTunes is 11.4. How to synchronize or import/export files(images/music)? Fact is need to update itunes? Also you can sync ipod touch?
iOS9 on a mobile device requires iTunes 12.3 or higher, which in turn requires a computer running OSX 10.8.5 or higher. Update of the system only checks the updates for the current version of the system you run, but that itself can be updated. It may or may not be possible to upgrade your computer to the system requirements. Find your computer on the web site of http://www.everymac.com model and near the bottom of the specification of the system section, he will tell what versions of the operating system, it is able to run. If you can not run a newer system, you will not be able to sync this phone to your current computer. If she can run 10.8.5 or higher, you can either buy a download for Apple OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion code online, or you can try to install the free El Capitan OSX 10.11. El Capitan can run slower on older machines and require the additional purchase of RAM. Making a big jump in versions of system is also more likely to affect the old software.

iTunes update iOS iPhone even if request the latest version installed
Hello
My version of iTunes [12.3.2.35] asking to update my iPhone to 9.2.1 software even though I already have installed 9.2.1 on my iPhone 6.
I have an iPad Air that is synchronized in the same library, also using 9.2.1 but the correct version is detected and I do not receive the prompt to update.
What is the cause and what should be done. Thank you.
There was a version update of iOS 9.2.1 released for iPhones which fixed an issue with Touch ID and error showing 53 (the update applies only to certain models of phones) - Apple has maintained the updated 9.2.1 IOS version but the build number (the number after the 9.2.1 on your second screenshot) will change. Update the phone via iTunes on your computer (I do not think that the update will appear directly on the phone in settings > general > software update) it will stop and prompt to update (taking a backup to first copy all purchases to your computer's iTunes library and grab your own copy of important documents or photos, preferably)

Removal of WAV files after you create AAC version in iTunes
I recently deleted about 5 GB of iTunes WAV files after their conversion to AAC files. I chose to "move to trash" and then empty the trash. When I rebooted my computer, there is about 5 GB of free storage added to my HD but not the Audio storage, which has not changed. I forgot to check the free space came as I thought it would be audio.
I tried manually deleted WAV files and they do not appear on my HD, only new AAC versions I created. I'm curious to know why the Audio storage did not change at all, even if the files are audio files and seem to have been properly removed from my HD. I wonder if they were not stored somewhere else and if so I want to make sure that they have been deleted. What worries me is that my iTunes library is 94 Go yet my Audio storage is 126 GB. I understand Garageband, etc. takes place, but the gap seems to be excessive. Please help/explain whether you have any ideas!
Much appreciated!
You'd better ask about the way in which the information system is referred to in the forum system for your computer. If it were me, I'd be just glad if you removed 5 GB of files 5 GB have been released. If you want more details, try a specific tool like OmniDiskSweeper: https://www.omnigroup.com/more/

new iPhone7 cannot connect to iTunes: New Version necessary. I have the latest version
Hello. I have Windows Vista on my PC. Just got my new iPhone7. I'm upgrading from 6. I can't restore the new phone to my iTunes on my PC backup because I get an error message: "iphone cannot be used because it requires a newer version of itunes. go to itunes.com... "iTunes offers only version 12.1.3 for windows vista and I downloaded it. I have no idea how to solve this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
The download site offers only iTunes 12.1.3 because it was the last version to support Vista. He is one year old and can not support an iPhone SE or apparently the new iPhone 7. Here's another recent thread: 7 Iphone connect to iTunes on the computer. You can fix this by moving to a new version of Windows or Mac that can run iTunes 12.5.1.

I downloaded the latest version of iTunes to restore the backup of my new iPhone 7. When I plug my computer into iPhone 7, I get the message that I need to update iTunes. It is to show that I have updated the latest version, so I now do not know what to do. Need help!
In iTunes, go to the ' about iTunes' topic. What version do you currently use?
What version of OS are you using on your computer?
Your new phone should you use iTunes 12.5.1 requiring 10.9.5 OSX or higher.
