13 Firefox makes several sites totally

Upgrade to Firefox 13 last night. After that I did it, Firefox formats several common web pages such as CNN, Facebook, Mozilla home almost no. Gmail will not load even now. Here are links to the screenshots. I have reset my cache, reinstalled a few versions, disabled addons and nothing has worked. Help?

Try reading the article sites look bad or appear differently than they should. Follow all the steps in it. If this does not work, try using the new reset feature in Firefox. Refresh Firefox – reset settings and Add-ons. It should take care of this for you.

  • Why firefox makes several profiles

My name is Mike from the Support of YER section.
We have over and over again a user with the same problem.
Our employees have a roaming profile with multiple browsers, but it uses Firefox that causes a problem.

There's a datalimit on our user profiles. The problem is that Firefox uses all the space in the user profile.
This causes an error of storage space, every two days.
To solve it, I open the Firefox profile manager, multiple profiles are visible. So I delete unused profiles. But it is temporary, because in a few days, the user communicates with us with the same problem.
I also tried to move the profile of its documents with the Profile Manager to free up space, also this does not solve the problem because Firefox new profiles over and over again.

This user is the only one with this problem, and we cannot find a solution.
We thought that maybe it has something to do with the synchronization between multiple devices, but it uses the Firefox profile on his work computer.

I hope you can help me solve this problem. Maybe you can explain why Firefox creates several profiles, or maybe we can change the path of the Firefox profile, for all profiles including new ones that are created.

    Thank you!

What is the content of the file profiles.ini?

Sounds that the profile path stored in the file is not recognized.

    Hello

I followed the A-team solution http://www.ateam-oracle.com/content-presenter-cmis-complete/ to display the Site Studio contributor data file. But I made a few changes to try to make multiple files data instead.

After changing the codes for this, page displays 2 hyperlinks to 2 data files. Can someone advise?

    Hello

Using Portal Builder application or application framework webcenter?

Please describe your use case. In a team blog showing also several files of content data. Is only change suddenly showing the CMIS query to get the result set.

Please go under the model code content presenter mentioned in document webcenter to watch the content of multiple.

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E21764_01/WebCenter.1111/e10148/jpsdg_content_presenter.htm#JPSDG7547

You mentioned page 2 hyperlinks to 2 data files.

What do you expect as a result?

When datasourceType = dsTypeMultiNode, datasource defined a set of identifiers separated by commas in the format document node:

    login #dDocName:content_id, connection_name #dDocName:content_id...

    Example: myconn #dDocName:DOCUMENT_ID_12345, myconn #dDocName:DOCUMENT_ID_56789

    Please check.

If you test it then use another datasourceType.

    for example

When datasourceType = dsTypeFolderContents, datasource set to a single folder in the form node identifier:

    login #dCollectionID:collection_id

    Example: myconnection.us.oracle.com #dCollectionID:45535

There are several sites that I connect to (Netflix, Amazon, Hello Firefox, etc.) who are reporting that I use an older version of Firefox. I'm versions 36.0 performer, who reports to be updated. I am at a loss.

Hi, your useragent (information, the browser sends to websites to identify its version) - apparently by mistake - shows, you're on version 3 of firefox.
Please refer to this article to reset the settings of the user agent in firefox: websites say that Firefox is obsolete or incompatible, even if it's the latest version

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe or make changes.

In the Firefox Safe mode, these changes are effective:

    • all extensions are disabled
    • the default theme is used (no persona)
    • userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored
    • the layout of the default toolbar is used (localstore - safe.rdf)
    • the JIT Javascript compiler is disabled
    • hardware acceleration is disabled
    • plugins are not affected
    • preferences are not affected

If it is not caused by an acceleration of material or extension, then try disabling the JIT compiler.

Try disabling the JIT ionmonkey compiler by defining these jit false prefs on the topic: config page (search: jit) to see if that helps.

I tried to disable the hardware accelerator thing, but there was no change. This has happened for at least 3 weeks now, I think. Any help would be greatly appreciated because at this rate, I'll have to switch to Chrome to save my sanity. I don't really like chrome, but at least chrome does not crash all the time on me.

Until I uninstalled firefox and then reinstalled, I double checked my modules and programs and found "Good companion" as an add-on and a program. I looked and it's apparently malware, so I uninstalled. Since then, Firefox broke down and it's been three days that I got rid of him. Before, Firefox broke several times a day.

  • Authorization Manager - how to 'forget' several sites at once

Firefox Authorization Manager allows a user to a site "Forget this Site" at once - but this isn't a practical way to forget hundreds or thousands of sites listed in Authorization Manager. Is it possible to select several sites to Forget, or to treatment by lots-Forget sites, or forget all sites?
    Thank you.

    Hello

You can try to clear recent history through the Tools (Alt + T). Select filtering criteria closely in the timeslot to erase and choose all options under Details. That would be to forget mass some or all of the sites according to the selected time interval.

  • Firefox knows several accidents since installation of Webroot AV package need any info on the crash can get to try to isolate and resolve this

Accidents that occurred at several sites and even occurred when you connect on the browser on 3 or 4 occasions. More frequently so involved in the loading or reloading flash games. Disabled various functions in the AV, cannot be isolated from anything. Here as much information as possible about what is causing crashes then may be disclosed to the webroot for possible resolution
    Any help greatly appreciated
Here are the last 5 IDs, have a large list, several have been submitted
    with comments about this issue

    Solution:
    Test continued the 20
    As indicated in previous entry
crashes with all the below to note the values of Configuration FF the value 'True '.

    DOM. IPC.plugins.Enabled
    DOM. IPC.plugins.Enabled.npctrl.dll (microsoft Silverlight)
    DOM. IPC.plugins.Enabled.npqtplugin.dll (Apple Quicktime)
    DOM. IPC.plugins.Enabled.npswf32.dll (Adobe Flash)
    DOM. IPC.plugins.Enabled.nptest.dll (NPAPI Test Plugin)
    DOM. IPC.plugins.java.Enabled (Java)

With these is set to false and WSA on, Firefox crashes occurred randomly in various
    situations in surf and play.
    Crash with WSA not disabled.

The value of these values are all true, then no crashes the browser.

    Breakdowns:
All the fake worms, checked once again, WSA, Firefox crashed, with WSA
    offshore, no crashes

Started with Java and worked at bottom upwards by turning each and stable
    with WSA rekindled.
Crashes stopped occurring when the plugin Quick time has been set to true.

'Cultivable fix to this problem, the user: the configuration above to all true values

(Best bet to be a problem that does not occur, with quite true I rebooted)
during the game play hundreds of times without accident)"

Looks like there is some kind of conflict between plugin Quick time and the
WSA, which should be resolved by Webroot if possible.

  • Make the site compatible

    Hi all

I was wondering if there is a code that can make a site compatible with all web browsers everywhere in the room... I don't talk like reagent layout...

reason why I chose a div with shadow box and when I view it in Internet Explorer, it is not there, but when I discovered in chrome I can see the shadow of the box...

    Need help

    Thank you ALL ~

Add in the actual box-shadow attribute...

    -moz-box-shadow: 5px 5px 5px #B4B4B4;

    -webkit-box-shadow: 50px 50px 50PX 50px #B4B4B4;

    box-shadow: 5px 5px 5px #B4B4B4;

You have only the Mozilla (Firefox) and Webkit (Chrome and Safari) prefix versions (which you probably do more). IE uses the standard version, without the prefix.

  • Cannot install addon off-site because "Firefox prevented this site asking you to install the software on your computer.

I try to install GMail Watcher by Sonthakit. It is hosted off site here: https://sites.google.com/site/sonthakit/gmailwatcher

Whenever I try to install the addon by clicking on 'Install the free', Firefox tells me "Firefox prevented this site asking you to install the software on your computer" and does not give me an option to ignore the warning and install it anyway. I clicked on the padlock icon in the address bar and activated all the appropriate permissions, but it will not yet let me install the addon even after restarting Firefox. I have just reset Firefox and use the latest version.

How can I say grass and let me install the Firefox addon?

This is because the part of the page button is loaded into an iframe, as you can see if you click on the button install free
You get only the button allow if this button is located in the home page and not when the button is in an iframe.
One solution is to open this image in a new tab by right clicking the button.

Have you tried to add the address to the list of exceptions FF popup blocker?

Paste (without the quotes) "subject: preferences #content" in the url bar and press ENTER
Click on the "Exceptions" button... »
type/paste the address of the page, click on leave and then save the changes.

    reload the page

pop-up windows should not be blocked on the page that you have added to the exceptions list.

  • Install AOL edition of Firefox makes Firefox the browser internal used by AOL instead of IE or it is just a stand alone custom Firefox version?

I have an AOL account and access it via the AOL software front end for email and account management, etc.
The AOL software either includes a built-in version of Internet Explorer, or links in the version of Internet Explorer on the PC, were never quite sure that but, according to, it integrates with the AOL software.
However, Firefox is my own browser of choice and a pop up comes to offer me a "AOL version" of Firefox.
It is not clear but if it would actually replace IE like '' internal AOL browser, which would be great, or simply add the AOL tool bar etc to my normal standalone version of Firefox, which I would not in any case.
I was always under the impression that IE has been incorporated into AOL and I was stuck with it, at least internally to own AOL software, but I guess there's no harm in hoping :-)

Looks like you get just the AOL toolbar. I got this message saying I had Firefox and I might add the AOL toolbar. Download of Firefox since the site has AOL also check these additional entries box options, "the homepage of AOL, AOL Toolbar, & AOL as the default browser search engine" if it is do the default AOL search but not the default browser to Firefox AOL. I can't say more without having to install AOL.
