  I get the error below when I try to update. The link the Customer Service sends me into a nightmare do-circular loop structure that only had landed me on this list as my last resort. I tried workaround installing the Camera Raw format file, but my directory structure is not as described on the Web site and it does not open my files from Canon. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still the same error. I use a fraction of the capacity of the PS and am pretty angry right now. "Customer service" Adobe means that I have not my software, but the website shows that I've owned CS4, CS5 and leaves me not to enter the serial number of version 7.0, that everything I bought from Adobe. My next effort will be to completely uninstall the Photoshop and waive goodbye to Adobe the finger and your creative cloud costs for losing far too many hours of my time just so I can Dodge and crop a photo of the damned.   I use Lightroom 4 (version 4.4, Camera Raw 7.4) in my Mac and found that my Lightroom cannot import 3FR files (made by Hasselblad digital back CFV50C). 3FR files are NOT supported by Lightroom version 4.4 (Camera Raw 7.4)? What should I do?

  This unit is supported in Lightroom 5.

  You must upgrade to Lightroom 5 in the import command from the camera raw files.

  Otherwise you can use the free DNG Converter to convert them to Dng, see Camera Raw: how to use Adobe DNG Converter - YouTube

  I can't open the Canon's Raw files, so I tried to update Camera Raw in Photoshop CS5.

  On the screen, I see the update process, but ultimately, I get a message saying:

  "There was an error downloading this update. Quit and try again later.

  I tried several times without success.

• Cannot open the camera raw 6.0 Bridge CS5

  I just installed photoshop CS5 and I'm unable to view and open my NEF files in Camera Raw in Bridge CS5.  It worked perfectly fine with CS4 Bridge and Camera Raw 5.1.0.30.  Anyone have any suggestions other than using my old Bridge CS4. I have mas OS X 10.6.3 installed on my computer.

  You must confirm that the Camera Raw plugin has been properly installed so that the two bridge _and_ Photoshop can access. For Mac only right place is to be installed is: the level of the root (not the user library) library.   If plug in Camera Raw isn't here or one of these folders are not there then Camera Raw is not correctly installed... • Cannot switch to Camera Raw 6.3 in LR 3.3

  I can't upgrade to Camera Raw 6.3 because - although I run Lightroom 3.3 - I only run the version of Photoshop CS4.

  This means that Lightroom is my of Canon S95's RAW files.

  Have I misunderstood something?

  Moreover, I KNOW that I can use Canon's own software to process RAW S95 files, but a workflow is a workflow; you want to use Lightroom!

  LR 3.3 uses ACR 6.3 and import the RAW files supported, (which includes the PowerShot s95) and make them to be used with any version of PS.

  6.3 ACR works only as stand-alone with PS CS 5 application.

  If you have LR 3.3 and you have no PS CS5 don't require you ACR 6.3 because it will not work with 4 CS or earlier versions of PS.

  To use your files in PS just to open LR (right click on the file and select edit with PS). Lightroom will then make the file for use in any version of PS without the need of ACR. When you perform this LR clearly indicate that it does not render the files like CS 4 does not support ACR 6.3, this makes no difference for rendering files when opened in PS, as LR and ACR have both use the same engine. Process of 2010, the goal etc. (new) settings will be present in the file regardless of the version of PS.

  I use Photoshop CS1 on my Mac Pro running 10.5.7.  When I click an image called an Adobe Photoshop (jpeg or tiff) image, Photoshop opens, but the image does not work.  I realize that CS1 was not designed for an Intel Mac and I plan to upgrade to CS4 in the near future, but is it possible to put Photoshop CS1 to open the image when I click on the image?

  J'utiise since lot of' years PS Elements 6 on my computer (under Windows 10) pour process my photos. Just normal elsewhere to acquire a Fujifilm X 30. Playback of raw files from this camera requires the installation of a plug in Camera Raw version 8.7 at least (software 'owner' RAF). This plug-in is installed, I found that items 6 fails to open.

  Is this a real inconsistency with Elements 6 which would be too old or well there - he supported a procedure whereby my photo app to take even when these files? It would be a kind of backward compatibility.

  You need at least 13 elements Photoshop in order to adjust the camera raw plugin that will support your camera. You can use the DNG Converter if you don't want to upgrade Photoshop Elements. I recommend that you use the latest version of the DNG Converter. There are options you can set that will that DNG files will be compatible with the software you use.

  CS5 is several versions back and does not the recent Camera Raw updates in native mode, you can, however, use the converter DNG (Digital Negative) to convert your images to DNG and CS5 format should be able to open those.   Unfortunately, PES 10 cannot use the necessary 7.3 or newer plug-in camera raw, a need for the Canon EOS 6 d cr2s camera.
