• macOS Sierra download stops with the error to 2.15 GB every time

  I'm currently under OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and I try to download and install macOS Sierra.  I tried several times and whenever the download stops at 2.15 GB with the message macOS that Sierra could not download use the purchases page to try again.  When I go to the shopping page I see a category for other purchases that lists the Sierra macOS.  However, the button has the text in red next to it indicating that an error has occurred and the button has no text.  By clicking the button does nothing.  I restart and remove partial downloading of applications to try again.  See screenshot below.

• Two questions with Siri on macOS Sierra (voice quality and call sheet)

  I am having several problems with Siri on macOS Sierra...

  (1) the voice is of poor quality.   Just a quick update - after deleting my contacts, reassignment to a new contact using "Make my contact" (which seems buggy btw - seems not stick) reinstall macOS Sierra twice, disabling iCloud, tilting and contacted him and Siri, etc. etc., it turns out that he was using a contact to my account (?) card, even if I didn't 'Calendar' selected in my Google account. I removed Google in my list of Internet accounts in Preferences system (along with a few others), and now it's using the new map that I created in iCloud. It's weird that it would give priority to my Google account on my iCloud account so much, especially since I have not yet activated contacts?

  Still need to understand why the high quality voices will not download.

  Im a user of long date Mac but displays the first time that I was pretty happy with everything that on my macbook pro for the past years... until I installed Sierra a day ago.

  Try this first: what happens if you start in safe mode (hold down the SHIFT key during startup), the problems go away?

  Try this second in normal startup mode: what happens if you create a new user account and log in as that user, the problems go away?

  I'm not sure I'd worry about the plane crashes - it is listed as beta software

• iMessage with iOS 10 and MacOS Sierra

  Before upgrading to iOS 10 and macOS Sierra, iMessages sent from my iPhone seems also in the application iMessages on my MacBook Pro and my iPad 2 Air - and the same for all three devices.

  It worked very well in my opinion.  When I'm at my laptop, it is very convenient type of responses on the keyboard.

  However, after the upgrades, this connection has stopped.  Each unit is not to see the iMessages of others, although all three devices are signed on the same iCloud account.

  What is a reduction in function?  Or am I missing something?  I tried settings and preferences.

  Sign of iMessages (the Apple ID used) on all devices

  Drag the item in Messages app from green to white (close the application) on the iPhone.

  Quit the application on other devices.

  On the iPhone, open the application again.

  Wait for the number to check.

• Downgrade macOS Sierra El Capitan question

  Hi all

  earlier today, I upgraded my Mac mini (end 2012) to the latest version of macOS Sierra.

  After 1 hour of use, I realized that many of my plugins FCPX were not working.

  I contacted the developers, and they said does not update the plugins and they told me to go back to El Capitan.

  I decided to listen to them and try to downgrade my OS.

  I restarted the Mac and held down Cmd - R or something like that that took me to the disk utility screen.

  Then I went down to dinner, and when I returned 30 minutes later my Mac had entered the sleep mode for some reason any.

  I woke up the Mac and 40 seconds later the power went out for 5-10 minutes.

  After the blackout, I restarted my Mac that took me to a black screen with a flashing question mark folder.

  I followed some tutorials online (including how to enter get - and the recovery of internet mode), but after a while even restoration of the internet shows me the flashing question mark folder.

  I don't know what to do.

  And no - unfortunately I don't have a Time Machine backup.

  But I have a backup with all my most important files.

  Is it possible to force the Mac to reset itself or something like that?

  Nothing but hurt. It is a common problem in the Sierra. One of the reasons, you must take off the coast about obtaining the latest software. It can be a bit much. If I remember correctly, they do not have the issues of EL CAP battery until le.3 ou.4 updated. (this is the solution that allowed the 8-9) I would recommend just downgrading to El Cap, as I can't imagine that the loss in the life of the battery is useful for siri.   Just my 2 cents.

  I recently updated my Mac to macOS Sierra and during the installation process I accidentally left the synchronization "Desktop and Documents" on iCloud drive selected. I tried to uncheck the 'Jobs' and Documents and "iCloud Drive" in System Preferences, but it left my completely empty folder documents and deleted all the contents of my office.

  I panicked because all my documents had disappeared from my computer then I reactivated "iCloud drive" and it is now restore all documents that it removed from my computer.

  I was wondering what is the correct way to disable the iCloud drive and recover my documents and desktop in the 'normal' folder and not on iCloud drive without him remove again.

  No problem with iCloud drive, just my personal preference is to have saved it on my computer.

  For those who encounter this problem, thanks to a user I finally solved the problem.

  Here's what I did:

  Connected to the www.icloud.com went to the settings and restored a previous automatic backup of two days before (even if my problem started earlier). After the recovery is complete, my icon badge disappeared automatically.

  At the end of the process, I had again to share my 'Family' calendar and a reminder with my girlfriend (if you have more, you must do for each list of calendar/reminder).

  All my subscribed calendars are always synchronized after the process.

• Question of WebGL on macOS Sierra

  I upgraded to macOs Sierra and since then, I've noticed a degradation in performance of Webgl.

  I have a 13-inch early 2015 rMBP and any program I write (or open on the internet) is able to go beyond 40 fps.

  I don't know if it affects OpenGL too... Am I the only one that has this problem?

  I have this problem as well. I also have a 2015 13 "Macbook Pro and I can use is more TinkerCad, because it's useless now."

• Reset home folder permissions and the default ACL on macOS Sierra?

  A tool that I've used in the past to troubleshooting doesn't seem to be available in macOS Sierra.

  There was a procedure in el captain to reset the permissions of file and ACLs in start in recovery mode, by running the command terminal, resetpassword.  This command pulls up a GUI in Sierra as el cap but the "reset the user permissions and ACLs" option is no longer there.
