  Bought my laptop at home about 3 years that came with windows 8. I've replaced the operating system with windows 7 that I hated the feel of windows 8.   There are a total of 4 network for windows 8 64-bit drivers and I'm very confused as those which of them I actually need. Usually it's pretty easy but the descriptions seem so cryptic for dell. One of them is actually the bluetooth software when I installed it, where does it say that in the description?
  For example, ' Dell Wireless 1701 802. 11 b/g/n '&' Dell Wireless 1702 802. 11 b/g/n'. Is it for different cards? Is the number of the card model? Should I as well these drivers, or none of them?

  I just installed Windows 8 on my HDX 16 and soon I found the drivers for the network adapters are not installed by default. When I go to the HP Web site, it has no drivers for Windows 8, Windows 7 only. When I tried to install drivers windows 7, he told me it was bad verson. It was for the Ethernet port. For my wifi, it tells me I need to have the .net framework 2.0 or higher and will not let me install this driver. After making sure that I installed the latest version, it still does not detect that I have the latest .net.
