15 - ac0005na: how to restore 8 Win Win 7

After losing a best friend in a laptop G62 under Win 7 Ultimate and now set up a new computer HP laptop with Win 8 is installed, I think I'm lost!

What are the ramifications by linking my 4 recovery disks the G62 and change indeed this system complicated to my old Win 7 friendly?

You won't be able use your recovery of old records because they will not deploy on the different model of laptop.

your best bet is 7 ultimate iso download & make a boot disk or usb flash drive, and then use your old product key.

Another option would improve the W8 to W10 like her somewhat better!

  • How to restore partition factory settings after installing Win 7 Professional and after having lost everything as a result.

I have a netbook with a partition that has win7 starter installed.  I unfortunately poorly installed windows 7 Professional and now have nothing available which was originally on the computer.  Everything was wiped clean including my ability to use / access my wireless, ethernet controller, pci, etc..  I tried repeatedly to recover the partition back to factory settings, but it won't give me the option to select the partition.  I guess that's because they are all two Windows 7.  Can you help me get it back to windows 7 edition starter of the partition so I can restore all the factory settings and programs.  I haven't lost any information or files that I loaded win7professtional as soon as I turned it on.  I have restore points, images, etc.

When I installed Win 7 Professional, not old Info windows.old file but I don't know how to access that is.

    Help, please?  Thank you

The Windows.old folder has two objectives:
    (1) can be used to uninstall Windows 7 and return your PC to the previous version of Windows.
    (2) contains a backup of all your files of data, documents, photos, Etc. from the previous version of Windows.

If you don't need either of these two options can delete the Windows.old folder. In your case if you can access the "recovery Partition" to restore the windows and then back the Windows.old folder before you begin.

Note: Option to change Windows Explorer to see the Windows.old folder:
Click on start and enter in the box "Search": "hidden" (without the quotes)
Click on the "Show the hidden files and folders" option at the top of the list.
    In the "Folder Options" window
Click the 'view' if it is not already selected.
In the list "Advanced settings" locate "hidden files and folders".
Now click 'show files and folders '.
    Then, disable the following:
"Hide empty drives in the computer folder.
"Hide the extensions of the file types that you want to know."
    "Hide protected operating system files"

Click on the "Apply" button and the OK"" button.

    How can I do?

There is no option in the bios to support SATA or IDE

    Please help me

    Hey Buddy

You won't find any IDE or SATA settings in the BIOS. The problem is that you have not installed the SATA driver that is needed to install the XP on this laptop.

Intel Matrix Storage Manager is the key!
The storage manager should be included in the Windows XP operating system during the installation process using the F6 key.
On the other hand, you could include the Storage Manager using the free app called nLite.

  • How to restore factory on Satellite L850-1LK settings

    Hello.

Dose - what someone know how to restore a factory in the Satelite L850-1LK.
    I tried F12 key 0.

    No results.

    Hello

L850-1LK satellite was preinstalled with the Win 8 system
I guess you haven't changed anything on your laptop and the 8 to win is always pre-installed.
    Is this right?

In this case you have two options:

    (1) you create a recovery (disk or USB flash stick) media and would use this environment to recover the laptop

    (2) the other option is HARD drive recovery. It is described here http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB2A03ES0000R01.htm

You can get this menu in the system Win 8 or pressing F12 when starting the system.
But be careful: in this case, the laptop must be turned off completely and NOT defined in stop mode hybrid

  • System of records of documents & settings migrated to HD external backup. Is no longer on the C: drive. How to restore to the C: drive?

PC switched on and I tried to open outlook.  Received the message:
The path specified for the file G:\Documents and Settings\Ray Bush\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\archive.pst is not valid.
Known as the G: drive is a disk external hard Lacie to be used for back up, although it has been used to store data of previous Windows XP/Office 2007 extracted from the HD system crashed.
When the above message has been received, the G: drive was not connected. Once it has been connected, archive.pst became available.
It seems that the Documents & Settings folder system has migrated to the external hard drive backup and is therefore no longer on the C: drive, or at least I can see it there.  Can I just drag and drop the folder Documents and Settings of the G: drive system into the c: (about 750MB)?
How to restore to the C: drive without doing something drastic is going to lose the settings and configuration?  Why what happened?  Can I prevent that from happening in the future? Is there a conflict between Lacie 500 Gb external SSD and internal Intel 520 Series 120 GB SSD SATA3?

    Hello

Win 7 and Win 8, Documents and Settings is a folder hidden, locked, unlike XP.

Documents, videos, photos and etc are now included in the C:\Users\User name, and that's where your installed programs will send them.

You can change their default location, and your software usually sends to the new location because of the way it is redirected.

I don't think anything has moved physically now that I re-read your post.

You say the keyword but... it has been imported into the new perspective.

When a program is something important, is usually not a physical copy of the file. It basically accesses its location of origin, as if the imported file is just a shortcut to the original.

Your Outlook was simply looking for the file to its actual location through the 'shortcut '.

Most all programs have an OPTIONS, PREFERENCES, or SETTINGS button somewhere.

Search through the links at the top of File, Edit, help, etc. It should be in one of these if ut doesn't have its own icon... a gear, for example.

Are - what you got to remove the calculator of your applications on the phone? You can find the calculator on the phone itself? If you find it, then try a reset. Hold down the home and sleep/wake together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will restart. There are no settings to change what appears on the display. See if the reset solves your problem.

EDIT: what exactly you see in the Control Center? If you see only controls the music, then drag to the right to see the rest of the access to the control center.
