  Hello, my laptop HP 15-af131dx would not start after I have updated to the latest video drivers from AMD. After update, my phone was really slow, so I decided to restart it.   My HP 15 - af131dx don't let me boot from a live bootable flash drive. I was able to boot from the drive on my hp mini 110 computer and in the past, I ran Ubuntu on a USB key and it worked fine. What should I do?

  I read your post and wanted to help. I understand you want to boot from a USB drive on your 15 HP - af131dx. Please try to access the boot device Options and select boot from USB drive.

  To access the Boot Device Options, turn on the computer and immediately press ESC to display the Start Menu and press the F9 key. The USB key may not appear in the menu of Boot Device at all, unless these an optical disk drive or USB drive is turned on, plugged in and holds a bootable media source.

  I just bought a pretty good 15-af131dx market HP laptop with the intention on the upgrade before use.  The laptop has 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and a 500 GB SATA drive.  I am lucky to have a module of RAM Kingston DDR3 4 G and a Toshiba 1 TB SSD, which could make my laptop low range, a nice notebook.  I have an external USB box I can ride my SSD to clone according to the procedures that I saw on the forum.  I also noticed links to guides of material of the other models that could provide me with instructions if I need to crack the case (I have not yet opened the box it came in yet)

  I recently bought a laptop from HP 15-af131dx from BestBuy. It came with 10 Windows but I'm not a big fan of Windows 10 so I went down to Windows 7. I searched for hours for drivers from internet for this but I can't. Now, it seems that HP has only listed under Windows 10 for him and 10 Windows drivers drivers seem to not work.   TBH, I'm not sure if I am running windows 10 64 or 32, I use by default it comes with

  So what happened was first fine could start my computer, but it would "lock" occasionally. I would observe a video, click on different tab, things like that and everything would become insensitive and gel (did not only happen to my browser would happen even with my search bar).   I got a new laptop so, crossed and stuff windows update then in cataclay AMD control center or whatever, he know a new version is ready so I installed it and when he asked to restart I clicked Yes and now it gets just hooked up with the screen with the small HP logo in the middle and little indirect points. I don't know what to do?

  I know its probably not the fault of HPs, but Microsoft was of no use and I never got my drivers to work. AMD said it was a problem of windwos, finally that I got tired of the op just to pass a reworked Windows device and known under the name of windows 10 7 and it works fine with no problem. Maybe one day they will be number 10 and how to make it run right.

  That's exactly why I have driver updates disabled in the Win10 - so it won't 'break' my PC with updates.  I had to disable in Win10, but I also had to disable it in the AMD Edition Crimson tool - because he was also trying to force updates on me.

  The version you mentioned is the correct version for your PC and Win10.

  So, the first thing I would do is go to this page and download the AMD driver: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-15-af100-Notebook-PC-series/8543365/model/8961406

  Copy this driver on a USB key, so you can add it later.

  So, what I would say is that you download and run this tool to permanently delete all traces of the AMD driver: AMD own Uninstall Utility
