15-e045tx Pavilion: Pavilion Upgrade RAM 15-e045tx

I own a laptop of Pavilion 15-e045tx and I've been thinking to upgrade its RAM as the 4 GB on board is not sufficient for my use and I want it to work more smooth. I want to know the maximum capacity of RAM for this computer, the frequency and all these technical specifications, but I can't find anywhere on the traditional Chinese user manual. It includes only the steps in the upgrade of the RAM, but no other information is given. Please give me help on the technical specifications of the slots of RAM of the model above, thank you. In addition, please improve your Web page as I couldn't find any useful help on this problem on your Web page.

  • Upgrade Ram on a HP PAVILION DV7

Salvation was curious what kind of ram was ok to upgrade with.

I tried to look at the site of suppport for this question but was unsuccessful. However if I missed it please tell me the correct link

    My laptop is:

Description of the model: HP PAVILION DV7 - 6143CL

    Model number: LW181UA

    Running: Windows 7 64-bit

    I visited this site: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02863115

If it does, this is the page of the plug for my laptop.

It is said that it takes DDR3 and up to a maximum of 16 GB.

However when I look at the DDR3 memory for laptops, I find plenty of options in terms of speed and latency cases.

Modules of memory DDR3 SO-DIMM will work?

Or a period of latency, speed and all will be better for my system than the others?

    Thanks for all the help!

The upgrade is to go to the Web sites of memory well known manufacturers and see what they have to offer for your laptop. (Corsair, Crucial, Kingston and OCZ are a few well known memory andf respected manufacturers)

Do a Google search like I did to see what is available and find the market price. Once you know which specific modules are then you can contact the stores to see which ones they have.

    https://www.google.com/search?q=HP+PAVILION+DV7-6143CL+upgrade+memory&oq=HP+PAVILION+DV7-6143CL+upgrade+memory&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i64.7781j0j4&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8#q=hp+pavilion+dv7+ram+upgrade&revid=171357479

Purchase memory modules only well-known state of manufactured products is guaranteed compatible memory for your laptop. If you don't like that then you are taking a gamble.

If you try to upgrade by looking at the specifications document, so you will probably find that the memory modules that you choose will disappoint you and cause your laptop to not start Windows.

"DDR3 SO-DIMM memory modules will work?" They must be specific and have been tested with your laptop. That's how important memory manufacturers are able to guarantee compatibility with the module.

  • HP Pavilion dv6765ev RAM upgrade

    Hi all

I have a laptop Hp Pavilion dv6765ev, I own since April 2008. It came with a total of 2 GB of RAM (2 x 1 GB). Since he is already 6 years old, I make a few changes (for example, I ordered an SSD to replace the original HARD drive), and I was thinking about upgrading RAM.

I would like to be sure what RAM purchase. If I'm not mistaken, I can be upgraded up to 4 GB, (2x2gb) DDR2? For example, the following package is ok?

    MUSHKIN 996559 4 GB (2X2GB) PC2-5300 DDR2 SO-DIMM 667 MHZ DUAL CHANNEL KIT

Do you have a specific brand to offer? What should I pay attention to?

    Thanks in advance!

The RAM config you have chosen is appropriate for your system.

I don't know the details of the brand, but it has good rating in newegg-

You can put the sticks of 2 memory replacing more permeable both.

    For related information:

It is the 15-n233sl model and the plug you have 6 GB. See page 42 of the manual here:

    Repair manuals

The manual indicates that it takes up to 12 GB which is a 4 GB and 8 GB module to the module but regularly, users have reported success with 2 x 8 GB for a total of 16 concerts. For most of the users 8 GB is a lot and it would mean just remove the module from 2 gig you have now and its replacement by a 4 GB. What that you choose to do I would have 2 modules size even for enable support dual channel. 8 concerts running dual channel is likely to be just as good as 12 concerts running in single channel due to incompatible modules. • Tecra Z40 - A - the upgrade (RAM RAM)

    Hi all

Ordered little RAM to upgrade my Toshiba Tecra Z40 - A, but can not find, for the life of me, anything where you want to insert online.

I previously installed RAM under the keyboard (couple of clips holding it) and on the other, a small cover on the bottom, but the Z40 does not appear to be anywhere easily accessible.

Has anyone upgraded RAM on the Z40? Or is it a big no, no, because of the guarantee?

    Thank you
    Lance

Memory upgrade on this model Tecra is a bit complicated and, in my view, should not be done by the owner of the laptop. For some models of Ram upgrade can be done by the owner of the laptop and exact instructions how do proposed in document s user manuals, but not for your Tecra.

For full access to the RAM modules lower lid should be removed and it can be done by people of service only. If you do this alone you can void the warranty valid.
I recommend you contact the nearest Toshiba service provider in your country and ask for help or advice.

  • Portege 4000 - upgrade RAM & graphic card driver installation

I'm having some trouble with my Portege 4000 for the moment. I installed XP on a disk, but will no longer have that I have 256 MB of RAM...

-Have you tried 2 manufacturers but the PC133 512 is not compatible. However, my system has an IBM of PC100 256 chip, which was bought early last year, after much trial and error, and I wonder now if the motherboard will be more suited to the PC100 and PC133 non?

-Consider the options alternative to XP, 98SE or 2000 because they are lighter operating systems. I can put it on a spare drive (test). Is it possible to set up a partition for recovery CD Rom (which has 98SE) on this subject and have little space left over to install another Linux operating system or its Manager partition crushes everything?

-J' put another post for .exe drivers related to the display/vga for 98SE and 2000.

-Just for the record, not all Linux distributions seem to go back on the size of the screen, so it takes some work...

    Thanks much for any help.

    The protégé 4000 is compatible with the PC133 modules! AFAIK, you can upgrade RAM of this notebook 1 GB (1024 MB) and you can use these modules;
    PC133 512 MB (PA3108U - 1 M 51)
    PC133 256 MB (PA3086U - 1 M 25)
    PC133 128 MB (PA3085U - 1 M 12)

You can create partitions on the HARD drive using a 3rd party like Partition Magic 8 tool. I use this tool and it's really nice.
After you create 2 or three partitions on the HARD disk, you could install different OS (operating systems).

  • Upgrade Ram on a Netbook NB200 - 00L

I gave to my two daughters a Netbook Toshiba NB200 - 00L. Both came loaded with Windows 7 Starter. If I just upgrade to Windows Home Premium, it will slow down computers. I was told that the maximum ram that can take netbooks is 1gig. However, I keep seeing that people are upgraded to 2gigs. I want to upgrade the ram so that Windows Home Premium will work better. Can someone enlighten me on this subject. Upgrading ram Home Premium support will be more effective? Also, is anyone Home Premium running on their netbooks without upgrading, and it is really slow? Thank you

    Hello

AFAIK NB200 can be upgraded to 2 GB of RAM. Therefore, you can check the specs on the Toshiba site!

I m not NB200 owner but I improved my other laptops equipped with modules from Kingston. I've never had a problem with these modules. They always run stable and don t make problems.
