  I have an application that uses psftp for copying files from a Linux server. (This application is the trigger to another UNIX server, - not a question here, just info)

  This works very well if there is one connected to the session of the user account on windows server (in my Windows Server 2008 r2).

  My problem is that, this application will not work if there is no connected session.

  Means, after every restart, I need to connect to the server manually with the same account user application uses.

  Found that the problem may be with the profile registry. This registry is created in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SimonTatham\PuTTY\SshHostKeys. (PuTTY registry is created in this place, I think)

  Because this registry is created under HKEY_CURRENT_USER, is not accessible to the system startup.

  So, I need to know how I can access this registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SimonTatham\PuTTY\SshHostKeys) from the system start?

  Can I include scripts in the startup system (GPOS) scripts. ?

  Please help me out here as soon as possible.

• SuSE 11.0: VMware process are not started after the system startup

  Suddenly, I have the problem, that after restarting my computer (SuSE 11.0, 64-bit) host VMware and VMnet services are not started. After you run the command "/etc/init.d/vmware restart" everything is fine - until the next reboot. I don't have any idea what caused this. I also run /usr/bin/vmware-config.pl once again, but he has just helped until the next reboot.

  What can I do to get these VMware processes started automatically with the system startup, please?

  I was watching the Eurovision Song Contest and had to download the so-called Octoshape Streaming Service to watch... everything was going well until it randomly froze and my mouse responds more... some four restarts later and it started to work again... However original ran on every startup and whenever the kicks knocked out inside the mouse.

  the system is now locked my files and folders with the processes of the system! , and it's obvious when trying to build from VS2008 or VS2010 exe copy to debug resp.
  I tried to remove the registry values but the problem remains. now I can't do my work with visual studio and it's really annoying, please help!

  for those who have the same problem I solved this:

  It seems that the registry script above is not the issue, the problem is cased by stopping the service 'Application Experience',
  So to solve the question just do the following:

  You have to manage it "Services", then:

  -Start the Task Manager by right-clicking on the taskbar and select "Task Manager", or simply press "ALT + Ctrl + Del" then the Task Manager.

  -Go to the 'Services' tab then click on the "Services" button... "to start the Service Manager dialog box
  -Services Manager, select "Application Experience" service and double-click it, set the startup type: automatically (delayed start) then Ok

  The problem is solved!

  Try this. Boot mode safe by pressing the SHIFT key. Give it time to complete the (slower than usual) journal in the process. Then restart normally.

  You can set the initial state of NumLock in the system BIOS. This is a kewl Flash Simulator that allows you to see how it works. Go to Config-> keyboard / mouse-> Thinkpad NumLock and/or PowerOn NumLock.

  Hi I stupidly put a BIOS password on my laptop of ea HP DV8 1250, a couple of years ago, and now I don't remember what I put too (what a fool!).

  Received Dell Powered T320 Server with windows server 2012 r2 preinstalled. I created an administrator account. Then, when asked to internal domain name, I used JAMPRODUCTIONS.local and set up from there with an another administrative account. This server was an upgrade of a previous Windows Server 2003 and I just wanted to put up with the domain that is used on this computer (also a .local but not JAMPRODUCTIONS). I tried to change the incorrect field to the correct. From now I am locked out of all connections (it seems). When I try to connect to JAMPRODUCTIONS ADMIN it says incorrect password when I know I type the correct password.

  Nothing had been put on the server of any importance. Only it would be important to ensure that dell had previously installed. I have the disc R2 de Windows server 2012. Is there a way to start over and do it just with the domain internal correct .local.

  Not at all. The lifecycle controller is not found in the OS, or even readers. It is built into the system itself.

  By default the NumLock State is the same as it was before you shut down the computer properly. If it is on when you shut it down it will be on when you turn on the computer again.
