Problem NVIDIA GeForce 820 M installation drivers for Windows 7 64 - bit for HP 15 - r022TX
I recently bought a HP laptop 15-022TX (with NVIDIA GeForce 820 M card) from Flipkart. I installed Windows 7 Pro 64 - bit of DreamSpark and downloaded the driver for the card from here.
Now when I run the Setup, it gives the following error:I walked to the Intel Download Center and use the Intel® driver update utility. But it seems that Internet Explorer crashes whenever I start the utility (tried with Windows 7 Pro 32/64 - bit, Windows 64-bit Pro 8.1).
Now I wanted to determine my Intel graphics driver so here is the output of 'Right click on the desktop'-> 'Screen Resolution'-> advanced settings.
So, how do I know which driver to download from the Intel Download Center? In "Find by category," I looked in "Graphics"-> "Laptop drivers graphic", but none of the drivers listed seems to help.
PS - Ironically, I could find help to install the driver for Ubuntu much faster.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you DerekQ and Paul_Tikkanen for the suggestions. But it seems that I solved my problem. I downloaded SlimDrivers free from download.com and let it scan my laptop. It automatically detected the obsolete VGA driver and downloaded and installed the appropriate Intel HD graphics card driver.
in any case thank you for your support!

Driver NVidia GeForce Go 6150 for notebook to the HP Pavilion tx 2009 for Windows8 64 bit
I tried searching everywhere but did not find the latest driver for NVidia GeForce GO 6150 driver for 64-bit Windows 8.
HA... It creaks!
Fear of that the foregoing is a bit premature... What follows seems really to solve if... Blackscreen questions gone... everything displays fine now...
Find my win 7 x 64 worked perfectly, I redouble efforts to find the driver installed-NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 - version 7.15.11.7967 - date 06/03/2009 and finally found in the Microsoft Update Catalog. http://catalog.update.Microsoft.com/v7/site/home.aspx
Go to the home page catalog update Microsoft and enter 'NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150' in the search box.
Select the larger of the two 7.15.11.7967 files and add to cart...
nVidia-
NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 - displayWindows 7 Drivers (hardware) 06/03/2009 7.15.11.7967 699.6 MB733621816
Download the desktop
Use 7zip to extract, move the folder where you want (in my case E:\NVIDIA\nVidia - Display - NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150)
Type "Device Manager" in the Panel Office win8... go to graphics cards > right click and basic ms > update driver > choose from a list of drivers > have disk > select "nvqh.inf" in the folder that you created earlier.
Follow the installation dialog and restart the computer (you can also follow steps of coprocessor above display)
Work done... I can say!
test windows 8 continues... .but it seems good enough to be worth a little persevereance

NVidia updates causing the blue screen in Windows XP.
I have two different desktop computers running Windows XP. Both have NVidia graphics cards. I recently downloaded Microsoft updates on a computer and noticed blue screen on shut down, page non paged area error code 50. It seems to suggest a problem with the display adapter. I tried several bugs to fix, but it persists most of the time. I assumed that it was unique to this computer until I downloaded the updates on my second computer, which I hadn't used in the month. All of a sudden I wake up a blue screen that is similar to booting with similar suggestion, it is the display adapter driver. NV4_DISP.dll in this case. What I noticed about this "update" is an update which is optional for NVidia and AC97. I downloaded both, but noted that they were dated 2003. I worked my way around the blue screen when starting in safe mode and cancelled the NVidia driver for... 2006! This was the driver I had installed from the Web of NVidia site, some time ago. The AC97 driver showed also a problem in the device driver, so I rolled back and things worked. I think that Microsoft sent an update for the drivers of video card NVidia and AC97 Codec which is damaged or outdated. This is not unique to Windows XP that others seem to experience it in Windows Vista and 7. My video cards are the two NVidia, but different models, which adds credibility to my theory. Any ideas or solutions?
1. after making back the driver, change your configuration of automatic update of the automatic for the only Notify ("notify but not...") ") setting.
2. open IE (only) to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058 & run it in DEFAULT difficulty and modes and AGGRESSIVE, and then restart your computer. [1]
3. thereafter, NEVER approve the download (or install) updates offered by Windows Update driver, just "hide". Download all the NECESSARY updated driver from the device or computer manufacturers' download pages ONLY.

Hello ginger957,
ATAPI.sys is the driver file for the drivers of storage system. It may be the hard disk that fails to give the stop errors. If you try another hard drive or upgrade the hard drive on another computer which results do you see?

Names of specific driver for the blue screen error Codes
Hi all! Need your help please! Like so many others, I received Error Codes blue screen, that crash my system. I need to know the names of the specific drivers associated with these codes so that I can disable them (in accordance with the instructions of Windows), internet research has not helped. If anyone knows what are the names of the associated drivers or how to determine them it would be greatly appreciated! The error codes are:

Thank you!
Hi Anna K.
When you encounter a Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) in Windows, the computer saves information about the error message in a log file. This log file or minidump file is saved in the subdirectory of Windows Minidump (C:\Windows\MiniDump). Generally the information stored in the minidump file can help identify the cause of the blue screen error message and help you solve the problem.
For more information on the reading of the memory dump files, see the following article:
How read partial memory dump files that Windows creates for debugging
See also:

Note The article above applies to Windows XP. However, you can follow the steps to solve the problem.
If you don't have any service pack (SP) installed, please consult you may receive an error message "Stop 0x0000007E" after you enable the BitLocker Drive Encryption feature in Windows Vista
In addition, you can also download the minidump files so here experts can analyze the cause of the error on a blue screen.

CD/DVD drive, causing the Blue Screen of Death stop
Software from CD/DVD in my Dimension E510 desktop seems to be the dreaded blue screen shut downs - usually as a CD is ejected. The web page error analysis Windows that appears after that restart indicates the problem is caused by a resulting driver. It's the Sonic Digital Media software provided on the system, but sometimes when I run the program I get a warning message saying that the software is not an approved final version? I would like to uninstall the Sonic CD/DVD software which seems to be the cause of the problem and replace it. This will probably solve the problem of the "blue screen", and which would be a recommended CD/DVD operating system that would be compatible with my system. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Hi guys, I get the blue screen in the LR development mode, even though I have updated the driver for the graphics card on this new laptop. It's an AMD Radeon R5 M335 4 GB memory DDR3, core i7 6th gen processor. What should do? Thank you
This Eizo has a normal resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. I expect not to see a lot of benefits of using the GPU. You really see the advantage to screens that are at least 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) or more. On small screens, you can see some benefits with smoother updates if you ONLY use the base sliders to develop. If you use brushes, turning on the GPU can actually slow you down a bit. In most cases, loading images in develop is also slower when you activated! There are a few illustrative notes to an engineer from Adobe that you can read here: notes for Lightroom CC GPU (2015) in order to better understand what is happening. Currently, in most cases, I recommend leaving off the coast. I think that Adobe is trying to improve and have more cards supported, but it is not yet completely there.

> During a game for half an hour, the screen darkens and a second view later, I get a blue screen.
Well, my first thought is that this problem is related to the graphics driver.
I mean it could be a software problem.
But I know that a BSOD can also occur if the graphics card chip began to malfunction.
In your case I m not sure what could cause this problem. But to play a game, that the GPU is running with a maximum yield and produce a lot of heat. If the temperature rises to a higher level the GPU can also cause a BSOD.Anyway, first of all, you must check if the graphics card driver update could solve this problem.
Maybe you could use a driver from other websites but please note that this is ONLY possible at your peril! -
Update Windows for Vista - NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS driver errors
Update Vista Home Basic 6002:SP2. Secunia Personal Software Inspector and MS Security Essentials confirm the system software is updated.
Windows Update optional update for NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS on 4/5 and 4/11. Updates have been declared as 'Successful' but has caused problems of compatibility with the resolution. (http://winqual.microsoft.com/support/?driverid=20418057) More details below.
HW - Dell 530 with GeForce 8400 GS with BIOS 62.98.71.0.5 - 512 MB of memory dedicated - 767 MB shared memory.
CRT is detected as driver MS running generic PnP 6.0.6001.18000. The display is an AMW CM1722PF 17 "CRT with a preferred resolution of the 1024x768x70Hz. (IIRC, MS drivers for Intel 8031 correctly detected VGA display modes, rather than generic report.)
On both NVIDIA driver update attempts, Windows Update reports the success and I rebooted (despite the lack of obligation to restart). Display was OK on the screen connection, but limited to 640 x 480 on desktop after login. Edges of the Office had fallen.
In addition, Panel-> NVIDIA Control Panel translates "the NVIDIA Display Panel Extension cannot be created... Possible reasons include the incorrect version. Reinstall display drivers can fix this problem. »
After the failure of 4/5, I uninstalled Windows Update display drivers and reinstalled on reboot. Got the NVIDIA Display Panel and appropriate video modes. Everything was going well until we repeated this Windows Update NVIDIA driver update fiasco 4/11.
Have not repeated the manual Reinstall driver this time, I'm puzzled why Windows Update can't get this right. This is a very common piece of hardware and you would think that there is regression tests for driver updates.
This makes me wary of Windows Update. Suggestions?

See if you can manually install the driver Vista support for your laptop and driver page.
