  • What is the maximum memory for 15-f010wm

Just bought a 15-f010wm of Wal-Mart.  It comes standard with only one simm 4 GB card.   In one place that the manual says that SIMM is not user replaceable, then in another part has a diagram and instructions to replace.  A forum of Wal-Mart announcement said that memory 'should' be expandable to 8 GB.  It is not an answer.

The question: If memory can be improved to a single 8 GB Simm?

    Thank you

I called HP and after being somewhat persistent told me that this machine can be upgraded to a single card of 8 GB.  Based on all the information, I have read and received I'm 99.9999% sure that's true.

  • What is the maximum memory supporting Equium L300 - 17Q?

My laptop comes with a memory chip Samsung 1 G standard and I recently added a 2 G kingston DDR-667 to the other location. Vista recongnizes the total memory than the 3G system. My question is if this laptop supports 4G memory if I just use 2 2 G Samsung chips?

Another weird thing is that as soon as I added this new chip, Everrest indicates that dual channel has been opened! Samsung 1 G and 2 G Kingston? How these two different chips can open the channel double?

The usuer mannual says that the memory maximum expansionbility for this laptop is 2 G.

    Any explanation?

    Thank you!

    Hello

    The user manual says:
512 MB, 1 GB, or 2 GB PC2-5300 memory modules can be installed in two memory slots.
Memory PC2-5300 work as speed of PC2-4200 GL960 Express Chipset.
The system maximum memory size and speed depend on the model you purchased.

2 GB of RAM supported by your model if Vista is able to perceive the 3 GB of RAM so it seems

Mobile Intel GL960 Express chipset has memory dual channel DDR2, 533 MHz system bus, so dual channel has been opened!

    See you soon

  • Maximum memory recognized for a Satellite Pro 4340

Read the previous posts about the extension of the maximum memory for a laptop Satellite Pro 4300 series suggests that the possible maximum memory upgrade is 320Mo composed of 64 MB on board more than two banks of 128 MB (128 128 64 = 320). I asked Toshiba in England if the SP 4300 range will recognize the PC100 256 MB memory modules, but they couldn't give me a definitive answer one way or another - just that they had tried to 128 MB with success modules. However, the specifications of the machine have been written before 256 MB modules were generally available, and so I would like to ask the following questions of the readers of the forum:

    1. someone has actually tried a bunch of 256 MB of PC100 memory in banks of memory your laptop series 4300 SP? -If so, what was the result?

    2. even if the maximum memory that can be recognized is always set to 320 MB, this could be achieved by simply using a bar of 256 MB and 64 MB on board?

    3. has anyone actually tried to put into one or two modules of 256 MB memory in the memory banks and see what happens? Are they recognized?

It is clearly an expensive experiment to try then I would hear earlier for other people who may have already explored these options rather than buying the memory myself to see what is not recognized! I'm really interested in hearing from someone who has actually tried what I mean above (and either successful or failed) not of someone who has read the specs on the Web from Toshiba site that says maximum memory is 320 MB and then a few citations that back for me.

    Hello

I found exactly the same info on the memory modules. You can use the 128 MB module with PA3005U - 1 M 12 part number.

I have gift? t understand why you want to use this module of 256 MB. If you want to have the maximum performance, don? t complicate just use tested parts and enjoy life.

  • Maximum memory for Portege Z930 - 14L

    Hello

I have a Portege Z930 - 14L with 8 GB memory and wonder what is the maximum memory I can add? I saw the following in the description, but I don't understand if this means that the maximum is 12 GB (4 GB onboard + 8 GB expansion) or 16 GB (2x8GB)

    Standard system memory: 8 192 (4 069 + 4 069 onboard) MB
    maximum extension: 8 192 MB
    technology: DDR3 RAM (1,600 MHz)

    Thank you
    Markus

If I understand this right info your a Portege already maximum RAM.
Is that your laptop Portege can manage with 8 GB memory max. On board, there are already 4 GB and there is only one slot of RAM available for upgrade that also contains a 4 GB RAM module.
In other words, your laptop is already maximum RAM and upgrade is not possible.

    Hello!

I have Toshiba Satellite P35-S6292 with 512 MB of memory (Samsung M4 70L6524BT0-CB3, PC2700, 166 MHz). I want lots of update of the memory modules (I want to buy 2 or 2 * 512 * 1024). • HP Pavilion 15-n048: maximum memory allocation for HP Pavilion 15-n048

Does anyone can tell me what is the maximum memory loss for HP Pavilion 15-n048

Officially, 12 concerts. See the owner's manual here:

    Link repair manuals

See page 47. Pavilion 15 manuals are often a bit difficult to understand, does not mean that they are sometimes a bit misleading. Some models are configured with one or two memory locations, so the first thing I would do is to open the Bay of memory and see if there are 2 slots for sure. Your laptop came with a single module of 8 GB DDR3 - 1600, then the question is whether you have an open slot. If so, the specs say you can add a module of 4 GB of the same speed and type. Others have reported success with the addition of a module of 8 GB for a total of 16 concerts. Attention to the black blocks how are on the side of the module that you already have. 8 unlikely, what makes low density. Get the same module 8 GB or 4 GB.

    Post back with any problems.

  • HP ENVY M6 1310sa: what is the maximum RAM can take a 1310sa?

According to the title: what is the maximum RAM can take a 1310sa?

If you have indeed the m6-1310sa laptop, then 19 GB installed as a pair of modules of 8 GB will bring in 16 GB memory. Also what says the manual.

Unless you like surprises (no boot), only to install an identical pair of guaranteed compatible memory from a memory well known manufacturer modules. (Kingston, Crucial, Corsair and al.) Do not mix strips memory of different capabilities, configuration or manufacturers. Remove the original strips and replace them with upgrade modules.

  • Maximum memory Prssario CQ56-100-ED

This product comes with 2 GB of memory on a unit of DIMMS.

The product specification is said a maximum memory capacity of 8GB.

However, the laptop has 2 slots for memory units. If I look for the available memory of DDR2 memory units to see only up to 2GB.

This means that only 4 GB can be placed. For DDR3, a batch of 4 GB DIMMS are available, but this is not correct for this laptop.

The specifications, is wrong or are there any units of 4 GB type DDR2

    Hello

Your machine is running on 32-bit operating system so it can see 4 GB max. If you want to see and use more than 4 GB, you need a 64-bit operating system.

    Kind regards.

  • How can I improve the quality of the sound signal tia sal22

    Hello all

I have a VI that plays an audio signal on a sound card, but the quality is not great in real time when I change it.  I can create the audio signal in mathematica 6 and it sounds good but labview has a few problems can anyone recommend a way to improve the way in which the qualtiy of the audio signal sounds... I need to increase buffers or allocation of memory for labview, if yes, how can I do.

    TIA sal22

PS I'm using labview 8.2 don't fix 8.5 this problem?

    Hi sal22,

LabVIEW 8.2.1 (which seems to be the version you're using) automatically manages the allocation of memory up to 2 gigabytes.  LabVIEW 8.5 and later supported the use of up to 4 gigabytes.

See the following articles in the knowledge base for more information:

Also, I know that some changes have been made to lvsound2.dll in 8.5, the library of your vi uses to produce the sound.  In other words, if it's really a problem of memory, that upgrading to the latest version of LabVIEW can solve the problem.  I can't confirm this for you because my ears are not only very good .  But it's worth a try if you have a copy of available 8,5/8.5.1.

  • How can I improve the performance of my compaq presario V2000, its very slow

How can I improve the performance of my compaq presario V2000, its very slow!

According to many things (specifications, you have now installed vs the programs he came originally with programs, etc.)-it may or may not work better that ever he does now.  However, in terms of nothing other than the software and others on the subject - there are some things you can do to optimize performance.

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find.  Reboot when necessary.  (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in.  Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.)  You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory.  This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

Do some cleaning and dusting off this hard drive:

You can free up disk space (will also help get rid of the things that you do not use) through the following steps:

Windows XP should take between 4.5 and 9 GB * with * an Office suite, editing Photo software, alternative Internet browser (s), various Internet plugins and a host of other things installed.

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

You can use an application that scans your system for the log files and temporary files and use it to get rid of those who:

Download/install the latest program Windows installation (for your operating system):
    (Windows XP 32-bit: WindowsXP-KB942288-v3 - x 86 .exe )
(Download and save it to your desktop, run it.)

    Reset.

    and...

Download the latest version of Windows Update (x 86) agent here:
    http://go.Microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=91237
... and save it to the root of your C:\ drive. After you register on the root of the C:\ drive, follow these steps:

Now that your system is generally free of malicious software (assuming you have an AntiVirus application), you've cleaned the "additional applications" that could be running and picking up your precious memory and the processor, you have authorized out of valuable and makes disk space as there are no problems with the drive itself and your Windows Update components are updates and should work fine - it is only only one other thing you pouvez wish to make:

Get and install the hardware device last drivers for your system hardware/system manufacturers support and/or download web site.

If you want, come back and let us know a bit more information on your system - particularly the brand / model of the system, you have - and maybe someone here can guide you to the place s x of law to this end.  This isn't 100% necessary - but I'd be willing to bet that you would gain some performance and features in making this part.
