  There may be a disable tochpad spot (probably, the upper left corner) to turn off the touch pad, double tap it disable touchpad when you type.

• LCD display intermittent Qosmio X 300 - 11W graduation

  Hi all

  I have a Qosmio X 300 - 11W, and recently, it seems that the LCD tends to fade basically only a weak image on the screen. It is now a random event - sometimes, when I boot it starts dim and her lights up after a few minutes/hours or the screen if running perfectly then suddenly go dim.

  I suspect that this is due to the lighting or the mechanism of sensor close the lid of the laptop LCD. I took the following measures until now:

  Checked on an external monitor - that works as expected and work very well
  Uninstalled and reinstalled the latest Nvidia Graphics - no change
  No change in radical measure to a new windows installation and update of the BIOS and all drivers - occurred (was considering a re-installation of window anyway, so not as crazy as it sounds)

  As a result, I was wondering if anyone had advice on how to proceed:
  Are there tests I can lead to find the problem for the backlight?
  Are there tests I can do to check or fix problems with the sensor close the lid?
  All other considerations, I have to take into account.

  The FL Inverter control the backlight of the screen, so I think that this part should be tested and verified first.

  My apologies if this is covered elsewhere - I looked through the forums and does not see an answer to this question.

  I bought a new Zip Clip for one of my children.  After updating the firmware to version, 01.01.21 and loading mp3s mp3s are cutting in and out intermittently.  The sounds of the music very well, then silence for half a second or more, then back to the music.

  I thought that maybe the headphones, so I tried using an external speaker, she got the same results.  I tried to play the radio, which doesn't seem to have the same problem - she has played very well for about an hour and is not having the same problem.

  I tried a corner the headphone / speaker taken firm decision, but that does not solve the problem either.

  Any suggestions?  This could be a firmware issue?  Headphone Jack?  Or could I just have a bad unit and you have to put it back?

  A possibility, believe it or not:

  The headphone jack of new Clips can be incredibly tight, to the point that a new user can be afraid that he or she will break the player the first time.  Is it possible that the headphone jack is not in all the way?  It relaxes to a 'normal' level after an hour or two.

  Otherwise, you are sure that the music files are OK and in a format like the Clip?  Have you tried the files on another material and are they OK?

  You can try to remove all the current drivers first and then installing those latest. I suggest that also consult you the site Web of Conexant for latest drivers, as is the real manufacturer of the sound chip.

• WiFi continues to mess up out of no where

  ill be on my mother and my grandmothers internet of fine when all of a sudden my page disappears and when I look at my little internet symbol at the bottom of my screen on my laptop it has a warning on this subject (a yellow triangle) symbol I can't do anything with the internet after that. If I disconnect to try to reconnect to the laptop computer says there is no connection available and the internet im connected to disappears. If I go into settings, and help and do a bad turn for that it fixed the problem and my connections appears and everything works but then hours later unexpectedly happens again... I don't know why its happening? I can fix each time with to troubleshoot but it happens again! It never happened to my moms before starting at my grandmothers House, but today at my moms bam it happened! can someone help me?     In addition, cannot understand that anything troubleshooting says about it!

  From the description, I understand that you are having problems with your wireless connection cuts out intermittently on your laptop. You mentioned that the network troubleshooting wizard is able to fix this problem, but only in the short term.   2. Are you having the same problem when you move your laptop closer to the router?
  3. How long have you had your laptop? The question has only started occurring recently?
  4. When you are connected to WiFi the signal bars how many are displayed in the taskbar?

  We have created an application where we use the poll to get some constant updates. Now, this question is querying the client in which the client polls the server at regular intervals to get fresh data for certain actions.

  Now, we want to take this to another level and to implement the Push of data from the server so that the client does not keep vote unnecessarily the server notifies the client as and when the data are updated with the server. For this we have the DataService Transaction class that must be implemented.

  But there are a few issues that are in my mind about this technology. It would be great if someone could respond.

  My questions are:

  (1) is the LCDS server knows what customer data to push in the case of multiple clients by looking at the same data scenario. for example, two clients A and B are looking at the same data. A performs an action and the action that needs time to get finished at the server level. Now when we use the server data Push, LCDs will be smart enough to send the message at the end of the requested activity to only A and not B.

  (2) in order to send data to the client, the server calls a method that returns the data to the client you want to. How do we keep the settings saved with the server that would need this method while getting invoked. Since then, the call to the method will not be launched customer, how does the server know what are the parameters to pass to the method to invoke. How will this work in a multi - user by looking at the same data/display scenario.

  The answers to these questions will really help us. In the case where everyone knows well thanks to this technology, please not give your entries.

  Before we can answer, I think that we need a little more in detail... You try to have LCDs to be the point of contact to start a third-party asynchronous service that will then come back and tell LCDS data push to alert the customer having made the request that it has been completed?

  I think it's a little beyond the scope of "out of the box" capabilities LCD screens... but not impossible at all

  To answer your questions, however:

  1 no, LCDS out of the box won't be the client to push a message automatically, but yes, you can send the answer to a specific customer through their customer ID and if you can follow this ID send ID off with your initial request for your third party service and have it return it back as well for your client can be pushed to.

  My KDL52VE5 had a problem since day 1 with the sound on my receiver DISH stall intermittently when using the HDMI ports. When you use the video input the sound works fine.
  I found the update of the firmware ER4.12 - E337.

  One of the things fixed is "Corrects a problem where an intermittent audio dropout occurs with a box of cable or satellite with the help of a HDMI connection"

  I downloaded the update and installed using the USB port on the service. The DISH receiver still works OK using the video input, but now if I use the HDMI input video and audio drop out intermittently about once every 2-3 hours. It lasts maybe 2 seconds then the HDMI info for entry appears in the top left of the screen briefly, then return audio and video.

  Not only does the DISH receiver, but now my Blue Ray Panasonic player features in the same way. It doesn't matter a HDMI port that I use.

  FYI, I experience the exact behavior even after updating the firmware, and I saw the same incident described in other forums, is not an isolated problem. I experience this problem with all HDMI sources: PS3, Xbox 360 and WOW! Ultra TV - box.

• Satellite C50D-B-120 seems to be slow

  Has anyone else had problems with this laptop model?

  Mine seems slow but on further review that this is indeed the parties stop and start intermittently and not all at once.

The file I'm checking is in a folder with a handful of files which are updated constantly, and my code bails out intermittently over the "listDIr". My guess is one of the files are being updated at the moment I do a "listDir", and ColdFusion is unable to read the directory and bundles.

  The system that I inherited is "mature" enough and has been implemented by the ancients to not take advantage of the file management or application.cfm CF session, so the tip w/session of cflock will probably not work.

  Thanks for the 2 code pieces to get the modified DT stamp. However, the reason for which I need to check the updated stamp DT would save bandwidth before grabbing the file in the first place (because I hit their ftp server every minute - maybe I didn't explain that the ILO).

  In any case, I tried to apply the idea of jdeline (to put a try/catch around the part "listdir" and keep trying). I basically put in place in the trials to continue trying until he got a "listdir" return success. I noticed that if he missed, it would always get in the second test (to my surprise and relief). So, this is the method I'm going with. So a big thank you to you two!

The person there told me that this phone LCD screens are out of stock for a long time and it would take long for my phone for repair. When I asked the cost the person concerned informed me it would + Rs.6000 and almost RS.7000/. I asked him if I get a bill for this amount officially of Motorola, he replied that the Bill would be made by the service center. (They can charge me with any amount they wish to).

  Then I quickly looked on centres of services available in my State and called each one by many service centre numbers did not work and most of them had not risen. Then, finally, a service center responded and they told me that they would replace my LCD to Rs5500. When I contacted the head of zonal service center. He told me that I can get it done in Hyderabad (150KM from my home) to Rs.4500 about and there are two centres of service available to Hyderabad and emails, calls to the phone numbers (mobile and LAN) of two service centers go unattended whenever. Official gas stations are looting customers giving their own statement of price which is much more than the original cost of repair.

  Then I went back to service in my city to Center. I was informed that the LCD is always out of stock and they have placed an order a month ago.

  I also saw many people who had to wait 60 days of messages and always the part was not in stock.

• Lenovo D221 lcd screen out of sync with x 61 Tablet in office extended to higher resolution.

  When I connect the tablet screen, the image is moved to the right.

  The lcd display is connected to the Tablet using the analog output connected to the analog input of the monitor.

  Presentation Director allowed me to fix the two monitors at their native resolution.

  I've updated the drivers from the lenovo Web site, but nothing helped.

  No matter how hard I try, it refuses to align to this resolution.

  Strange that the screen lcd partners only when I changed the D221 SXGA resolution.

  What seems to be the problem?

  Would be great if we can work to its native resolution. Otherwise, it would be a waste to let all that pixels to lose because I wasn't expecting a monitor of incompatible label.
