19 satellite C50-A-t - Touchpad does not

Hello world
I have a Satellite C50-A-19 t and I don't know why my touchpad don't respond often. This happens several times and is boring... How can I resolve this you problem?

Thank you

This should not be a touchpad issue.
Test the same functionality as part of the external USB mouse.
In many cases, the cursor would not respond because the system stressed.
In the case of the background process stress and burden the CPU, the touchpad or mouse couldn't answer.

But it's one of the possible reasons.

Another reason for this problem could be the problem of the touchpad driver.
This would require an update or the new installation of the touchpad driver.
Usually the latest Synaptics driver is downloadable from the page of the Toshiba UE driver, but you might also try a newer version of Synaptics page:

  • Satellite A350-20 q - Touchpad does not

    Hello members,

I have a Satellite A350-20 q that is running a Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit operating system. The problem is with the touchpad which stops working when the laptop is connected to the
AC power supply and everything that happens, I can feel the static on the buttons near the tablet which are metallic.

The touchpad works fine when it runs on battery and it causes a lot of trouble because I move around a bit and can't take my mouse around.

I called Toshiba support, but all said, it was to replace the charger that does not make any sense to me but I try, and again, it doesn't help much.

The touchpad works very well when Vista is installed and is not updated, but once the system is fully updated it starts to cause problems and I can't yet determine which update is the cause of the problem that there are many Windows vista updates are installed.

    Help, please!
I installed all the drivers and have the latest synaptic driver installed on the system right now.

    Thank you.

    > I had called support of Toshiba, but all said, it was to replace the charger that does not make any sense to me but I try, and again, it doesn't help much.

I think that this logic because the touchpad does not work ONLY when the AC adapter is connected.
    I found this thread:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?MessageID=141976𢪘
He has helped about the similar issue and replacement AC adapter!

    > The touchpad works very well when Vista is installed and is not updated, but once the system is fully updated it starts to cause problems and I can't determine same update is the cause of the problem that it is has many windows updates vista that are installed.

How a windows update to do the buttons on the touchpad statically? It is meaningless for me so be it hardware or software s problem

If this software (update of the OS) then deliver the power adapter should not all affect on the buttons on the touch pad but if there s a hardware problem, then the OS updates should not affect the functionality of the touchpad as well

I think that it s a strange question and you should get in touch with a local ASP (partner) in your country in order to check the touchpad.

  • Satellite Pro M30-701: TouchPad does not work after installation of XP Pro

My touchPad does not work after reinstalling XP Pro OS with recovery disk. I install a driver for Toshiba M30 - 701 Synaptics TouchPad tpdrv-sp-m30-xp - 7920.zip

Can you help me solve the my problem please?
    Excuse my bad English...
    Thank you

    HI Jorge,.

If you have reinstalled your system using the Toshiba recovery disks the touchpad should have the right drivers and be fully functional. I seem to remember that it is possible to disable the touch pad using one of the "keyboard shortcuts" (F9 on my SA30) in order to check that it has not been inadvertently pressed.

    Kind regards

  • Satellite C855 - 1 HM-Touchpad does not work

    Hello

My touchpad does not work! indications are he should be, pilot the newest, toggle F5 etc. Any ideas as to what may be wrong welcome. Machine is also only a few weeks, how do you contact technical support?

    Thank you

    Hello

You can contact the Toshiba authorized service partner in your country, your hardware is defective.
But you should first check if its hardware problem.

First of all, you should check if the touchpad (pointing device) is enabled in the BIOS
Press F2 during the powering of the device and go to the Advanced tab-> the system setup
You will find the touchpad power option.

If the touchpad is enabled in the BIOS, I recommend to check the touchpad system settings: Control Panel-> mouse-> last (Advanced) tab-> Advanced button

Last but not least you should recover the laptop to test the device with factory settings.
If all these tips would not be successful success, well, then I recommend to ask the guy to service

  • Satellite Pro C50-A-153 - Touchpad does not work properly

First, sorry for my bad English.

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro C50-A-153, the problem is its touchpad and not work correctly, the mouse does not move when I move the finger on the pad, it seems that if I had to roll the bar "or the mouse wheel.

Sometimes, the 'mouse' works for 20 seconds and then again the same thing. An external mouse works fine.

It is not the problem of the functions "Fn". I tried to stop, reset the battery and press the power button to 50seconds. I also tried to uninstall the drivers for the Touchpad, and I think that I tried to change all the properties on the 'Control Panel - mouse'.

Can someone help me with this?

    Thank you.

On most computers laptop Toshiba is installed the Synaptics touchpad driver. With this driver, there are available additional touchpad settings. Try it please change these settings and turn off the features you don't need.

How to do that you can read on https://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD3101Z30000R01.htm

  • Satellite A300-20 b - Touchpad does not work after BIOS update

I've updated the BIOS on my Satellite A300-20 b latest version 2.00. Update succeeded, but when I rebooted system touchpad has stopped working.

I tried to find the solution, resettled drivers (windows XP system). In the Windows Device Manager there is no problem with Synaptics PS/2 Port Touchpad, I see. Software Synaptics shows no problem I can enable and disable the touchpad, but it does not work for the touchpad. I tried Linux live CD and in this system does not work as good touchpad. I think there is problem in this version of the BIOS.

Does anyone have the same problem?

    Hey Buddy,

Have you tried to turn the touchpad on or off if you press FN + F9? Check this please!
Also, try to load the default settings in the BIOS.

What happens if you connect an external mouse to the laptop? It work?

I can t imagine that the BIOS update causing this problem. If it doesn't work, you need to contact a service provider for help. They can check the touchpad and replace.

  • Satellite C870-155 - the Touchpad does not work

    I have a Satellite C870 - 155 (PSC8AE) and problems with the touchpad.

The buttons work, but not the pointer/trackpad.

The laptop was in need of a replacement hard drive, and I don't have any recovery media. I'm running a new installation of Windows 7 (Home Premium, 64-bit) vanilla.

I installed all the drivers, that I can find (including the touchpad).

I tried pressing F5 / Fn + F5, but this does not change anyuthing that I can see.

I am running the latest version of the BIOS I can find (6.60).

    Any suggestions?

    > Everything seems to work except the pointer.
I guess that s hardware problem and the touchpad module must be replaced.
I m straight probably because if the touchpad would be disabled or drivers that would be misunderstood, the touch area AND the touchpad buttons would not work.

In your case touch ONLY area/pad does not work, but the buttons

But just to be sure: go into the BIOS (F2)-> Advanced tab-> the system setup
Here you can check whether the pointing device (touchpad) is enabled.

  • Satellite L50-B-211 - Touchpad does not work

    Hi I have a question

We just bought a Satellite L50-B-211, but the touchpad is not working properly.
Move the pointer autour is no problem, but the buttons do not work.

Using the buttons does nothing, left or right clicking has no effect?
If I want to get the properties of a file right-clicking does not work?
    (two fingers press work)

The hardware is correctly installed, there is no problem in the configuration of the device.

Do I have to return the device (before installing our software / config the device to our needs)
or is this a software bug?

According to specification for laptop, your laptop was supplied with Win8.1 pre-installed so that all the necessary drivers are installed and all hardware should work fine.

Try please check all the touchpad settings and check if changing the settings has positive effect.
What you can try to do is to reinstall the original recovery image and test once more with the factory settings. If the result will be the same, I recommend you to contact your dealer as soon as possible and explain the situation. Ask if you can get the new machine.

  • Satellite C50-B-133 - HDMI does not connect to TV

    Help.

    I just bought a laptop Satellite C50-B-133.
The problem is that I can't view HD cable on my Panasonic TV.
He acknowledges that it is connected to a Panasonic TV.

I did the Windows + P to select "Duplicate the screen" etc. but nothing helps.

The interactive Wizard of the Toshiba site mentioned it could be the cable... is this possible?
Other articles - playstation etc connect this cable without difficulty.

When I go into settings > change pc settings > display > detect > "has not detected a different view" is the answer. However, when I go into Toshiba desktop help > tools and utilities > display utility > multiple views > panasonic tv is listed. #confused...

    > I did the Windows + P to select "Duplicate the screen" etc. but nothing helps.

Please open page 51 in the document of the user s manual and you will find explanation how to switch between internal or external display.

When you connect the HDMI cable do not forget that good on television port is enabled. After that, you should be able to pass a screen LCD of your laptop and TV using F-keys.
If you still need assistance or advice do not hesitate to ask.

  • Satellite A350 - 22F EasyMedia touchpad does not work

Right next to the switch, there are 6 touch buttons.
Normally, they light when I press on them, if the computer lights are out and if all the lights are on the button I pressed on flashes.

Now the other lights (like the one that says TOSHIBA) still work, but I can no longer use these buttons.
I have already installed value-added package and it changed nothing.

Can someone tell me what to do and how to make them work again?

    Thank you.

    Hello

As you have already mentioned, the VAP (value added package) controls these buttons.
So I think the new installation of VAP should help get these buttons work again.
Don't know why this didn't help in your case, but I think that you should try to reinstall this package once more.

Before installing the PPV, you must uninstall the old version.
Do this and clean the registry using other tools like CCleaner.
After that, restart the laptop and install the latest version of VAP.
I assume you are using Windows 7. So check and download the VAP updates the most recent series of Satellite.

    Good luck
