1907FPVt, bad capacitors on PCB

The power button flashes green about once every second.  There was a slight "pulsed" sounds coming from the screen.  The monitor turns on not even without a connected computer.  No MENU, detection of the signal.  Replace the cables and left it unplugged for a while, but the original symptoms are the same.  Online research said it was a problem with the power supply.  Consultation with the power supply and there are two capacitors blown on the circuit board.  The capacitors are C824 and C825 numbers.  They are 10v, 1000uF, CapXons.  Someone had chance to replace the capacitors and if yes, where can be a good source?  The monitor is out of warranty, so there is nothing to lose by trying to fix it.  I looked too replace the PCB, but I'm not finding what seems to be an exact match.  The PCB is an E59670.  It is a Dell brand Samsung, model 1907FPVt.  Assistance would be appreciated.

I just replaced the two same plugs and so far, the monitor works fine. I bought their Newark electronics, reference number 04M 9004 for a total cost of $0.76. Receipts within a few days of ordering. Good luck

    Hi all

excuse the new thread, but I have not found the answers online, it's just speculation and it's for the different models.

So I have a C70D-B-10U Windows 7 pro 64-bit. When I formatted and updated all, it just kept crashing when you try to play videos on Windows Media Player. I cleaned the inside and replace the thermal compound, even more recent drivers updated and started using VLC as my default media player. It crashed it rarely, BUT it always does when I try to start playing games (Nothing heavy - League of Legends). Laptop seems to do well with the tests of memory, without defects found.

I read that this could be due to:

    • Faulty GPU
    • Defective battery
    • Defective power supply
    • Bad capacitors on the MOBO

Someone at - he had a similar experience? I reinstalled Windows and it's the same story. If it's a motherboard problem, I guess it would be better to just get a new one?

    Thank you

Update: I decided to test the RAM, and it looks like he can't handle 8GB. The 4 GB glue work on any site, but when I have it on the machine, it crashes. Don't you think it's a motherboard problem?

  • HP DesignJet 1000 series, a bad cable rear transport stop in the same place every time?

Hello. On a series of 1000 HP DesignJet 1050c more think that FW A.52.02, a bad cable rear transport stop in the same place every time?  It stops just to the right of each start, attached photo Center.  Do not know if it is directed to the left or right at the time; I asked the customer, but it has not yet responded.  It is hundreds of miles away with customer.  I was not there; I try to get a very good idea of what everything I need and that you need to do before I travel such a distance.

It gets the error "check printhead path type (2).  Customer said that began as he tried to pass to 24 "paper roll of I think 36" roll of paper.  Maybe this is related to the different movements to transport would be to manage different width, but there will be an underlying problem.  (Well, I guess it does now any width.)  I read that if transport stops in the same place every time when you start, it's probably one of the following:

    1 necessary transport height adjustment.

2 tubes of rub excessively in the channel of tubes.

    3. bad transport (Mouasher Sa'ad says that the bad capacitors once a trolley stop at the same place;) Guess it could be a bad encoder sensor but think the transport would simply jump a quarter inch or so if the case.)

Well, guess it might be something to the top with the belt too, so:

    4. bad belt (once I had 1 too short and kept cause type 2 error - stop inches couple out right every time)

I cleaned and lubricated all - channel rods and tubes of cursor. It worked fine for 5 months.

Here, I simply want to exclude ideally that a bad end cable would cause traffic to stop at the same place every time.

    Thanks for any input.

    Paul

Usually, a bad end cable will not cause you have. It could be one of the items you listed, but could also be the encoder being dirty in this place. Most of the time it's the belt as a defect in a bad belt could stop at the same place. If the sheath is a problem most of the time it stops at the opening of the left side. Also, if the tubes most of the time you can fix a bunch of heavy clear packing on the rim tape, tubes rub against and which solves the problem.

I recently took apart my HP c7280 all in one printer, I took a bad capacitor and now I can't find it... Techs tell me that it is always wrong... Is there an entry for what it might be

I just finished this repair of capacitors, and I can confirm that it works.  I used to have to restart my printer 8 - 12 times so he can work.  I replaced the 4 capacitors and it works like new.  I got parts for a total price of $2.04 Digikey.  Shipping was a lot more.

Weld has been tricky so be very careful.  I used solder Wick/braid, but it should still be very careful.

  • Hard drive error (03F1)

Hello, thank you for your time. During recent months, I was faced with a serious problem: I get a message "HDD error (03F1)" on my HP Pavilion 1d72nr g6, but only in special cases. Special cases that I mentioned are the moments where he decides to stop reading my HARD drive. There is no obvious motive for the failure messages, and if I leave it alone, it tends to function again after a while. If I need it immediately, removing and reinstalling the internal components sometimes make the tour, giving me anywhere from 20 seconds to a few hours. After the randomly generated time it stops, usually flashes a BSoD and fails to initialize the disk to write the memory dump. Disk booting does not is expected if there is trouble reading from the disk. Sometimes when it crashes it will start IO throwinf errors. These usually just indicate that there was a problem while reading from the HARD drive and store it in memory.

The first thing I thought was that I had to replace my hard drive, as it was the most obvious first step, and it worked. For a period of time. I upgraded to a 640 GB 5400 RPM for a 1 to 7200 RPM. It took about a month so he can restart from scratch on the same page.

I can say with confidence that this is not a failure of hard drive for two reasons: first, there is no damage to subsequently file system; Second, while it is plugged somewhere else, it works as it should.

Here, that's what I've troubleshooted so if you ask, I'll describe how I troubleshooted each component:

    1. HARD DRIVE
    2. HARD drive connection map (not to be confused with the PCB of HARD drive)
    3. Power brick & battery
    4. RAM memory modules
    5. BIOS

That leaves what follows, at least from what I can deduce:

    • Components of the motherboard
    • Processor

And because a dying CPU seems to be fairly binary (it works or it doesn't), rather strongly, I can exclude that he is the culprit.

This leaves the motherboard. But my personal thought was that a motherboard was also a binary component, then why should it work if sporadically?

Any help in this would be surprising, as the replacement of the laptop is currently not in the budget.

    Thank you for your time,

    Max.

Your logic is flawless until the last hypothesis. Indeed, central units are "binary" (works or it does not work) but not motherboards. They are fickle demons and a bad capacitor can drive a technician crazy trying to track down the problem. Suffice it to say that a seasoned technician could not do more to diagnose the problem that you have, and the answer is... bad mother.

  • D530 sff - freezes jacquard blocked screen - ideas?

    Hello

My d530 sff freezes sometimes strange blocked screen - like psychedelic colored chessboard square on a blue background with a pattern. The squares shimmer a bit (which implies some treatment?), but it's totally unrersponsive.  The fault appears randomly and does not seem related to how long the machine has been run, nor his current mission (AFAIK). I can't cause the fault.

It works under xp pro. I reinstalled xp on a different HARD drive and get the same, making me think it is not software/driver.  I've updated the BIOS, run memtest 86 + and premium 95 for hours and tests of material Inquisator and Ultimate Boot CD. They are all very well, making me think of the basic material is OK.  I considered the embedded video, but I can play movies on a network that is pretty intense...  With the lid, nothing in the area becomes too hot to the touch, although some chips and the plugs should be near 60 degrees celcius.  Radiator CPU fine to the touch.

It would be easy to give up and say it's a weird mother board failure, but before I do any ideas?  The software matches the machine has more value than the box so I would rather not throw.

    Thanks for your ideas, Mike

I extracted the zip file to install the Intel 14.16 package and installed manually from the Device Manager. Package Intel 14.17 absolutely did not work on every box of d530. This is the root of the problem which I faced instability.

You can identify the controller by checking the properties of devices in the Devices.Look system for x or exclamation next to the drivers points, or if you see instances of "unknown device".

SisoftSandra Lite will also identify the devices installed in the hardware section.

As far as bad capacitors going that visually close should be enough. Search for leakages, bulging, distortion, a brown substance on or near the caps.

So... in your systray, you see an icon of Intel graphics? That's what you should see if the graphic driver went well.

    Hello

My Airport extreme dual band 802.11 done "buzzing" sound when the power supply is attached. The sound disappears immediately when power is disconnected and begins as soon as you connected again. It started two weeks ago, and it's really annoying.

Most likely, the question is a bad capacitor in the diet. These can fail and are, unfortunately, not serviceable by the user... unless you have experience with electronic repair. You can try Apple, but chances are that you will have the best chance to get a replacement from another source, such as Impact Computers & Electronics or eBay.  I'm sorry.

  • HP Photosmart C4680 problem

In recent days, I noticed that my Photosmart C4680 is blower bike itself on and off.  Anyone else have this same problem?

Does anyone know why its doing?  Y at - it a solution?

Just do the repair. It was a bad capacitor on the logic board (TEAPO brand). There's that one to replace on this printer and it will probably look like curved on top (which indicates which are blown).  It is 330uF 6.3V, but I got in a little bigger (16V, whatever they had in 330uF) and it works perfectly now. It's an easy fix, if you aren't afraid of soldering a component. It will cost about 60 c with a value of components. (and a kit of solder so you do not have a)

Open the scanner cover and the door of replacement ink. Reach behind the control panel and gently push a clip for the exit sign. He will reveal a hidden torx screw. There are four total screws to remove the top, and you can use a torx bit, or if no practice, the right to an allen key size.

Once you get the top up the rest of the printer, you must pull carefully on some connectors that attach to the logical map of its orbits. Some are simply Ribbon connectors and some wire connectors. Set the top aside.

Identify the bad capacitor on the Board by checking the upper surface. It is a green, a thin color that says TEAPO on it and if it is indeed the defective component it must feel to be curved on top.

Remove all the other connectors on the Board and unscrew 3 torx screws to remove the Board of Directors of the printer.

To unsolder the bad capacitor, it can be easier at first it break so you can extract each lead with pliers, one at a time when the application of heat on the side welding.

Respect the polarity, the negative side (identified by the sign on the new capacitor less) on the shady side to the Board of Directors.

Solder the new capacitor, clip wide leads, any excess back together. Your ' e did!   Good luck!

  • Pavilion Elite HPE-170 t: problem with the new HP DH16D5S DVD ROM drive

My office is a HP Pavilion Elite HPE-170 t.  I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10.  I have two HP optical dirives, one is a writer, and the other is just a DVD ROM  Both have always worked perfectly with Windows 7.  After you have installed Windows 10 continuous burner work very well works correctly with autoplay.  However, the DVD - ROM, HP DH16D5S, immediately began using autoplay.  Actually the drive was not yet recognized as a drive when you view the drives in the file Explorer.  Finally, it would seem, sometimes taking also longer than 5 minutes or more before doing so and then would work very well.  I tried different types of media, including music CD, DVD video and DVD software with the same results.  I assumed that it was a problem with the drive, maybe a bad capacitor, etc., which was originally not start correctly.  So I ordered a new DH160D5S, but which seems to have been a waste of time and money, because it does exactly the same thing as the original.  I even changed the cables autour between it and the burner, but it made no difference.  The burner still works fine but not DVD ROM.  I tried to find a more recent driver for it, but had no chance.  I found on a Dell website for this drive which was an update of the firmware for Windows Vista and Windows 7, but not for Windows 10.  I advanced and downloaded, but when I tried to run, I got the message: "your system does not meet the minimum requirements for this update.  Update has been canceled. »

I want to try a different brand of DVD ROM, but would have to buy one without knowing if it would help.

    Any help will be appreciated.

Since I posted this message I discovered that there is a driver problem with this DVD ROM.  There's no driver available yet to make the drive compatible with Windows 10.  Since then, I returned the drive and replaced by another brand that is compatible with Windows 10.

  • Watch why go to sleep?

Yesterday, my PC worked perfectly. But this morning when I pushed the power button, power light turned on normally and there was a normal voice of the case but a few seconds after the PC gave this error on the screen: "Monitor going to sleep" and PC fans started making a strange noise. I could not stop PC normally so I disconnect the cable and reconnect it.

After I tried again, but the PC gave the same error. I tried too many times, but it did not work.

I checked all the cables. After that I connected the monitor to my laptop with an HDMI cable, the monitor worked perfectly.

I have the latest version of the drivers. I always check the updates. But I never updated my BIOS.

It seems that I have a problem with my camera. And my monitor is still sleep like the sleeping beauty.

How can I solve this problem?

    (I have HP Pavilion m9531)

(I'm sorry for my bad grammar)

It could be the power supply, the device to short-circuit any attachment (bad printer, USB key, keyboard, mouse, network connection), problem of memory, graphics card fan not turn not and the video card could have overheated, bad capacitors (rounded or leak a brown substance or black). The first thing we do is to ensure that it is not under warranty.  If this is the case, contact HP.  If not, remove the cover and inspect the Board for bad capacitors, the fans don't turn not, unplug all nonessential items, like the hard disk, DVD, floppy disk drive, if you have one, any external devices (Yes the monitor) and turn on the computer. He doesn't stay? If so, stop now in the power button for 5 seconds or so, flipping the power switch on the power supply or pull the plug. Connect the monitor and then an element at the same time leaving the drive with your important data as the last element. If he does not stay on. Try to use only a chunk of memory and try each memory slot, try the next track, etc. If this does not work, the best estimate is the power supply (if you have an ohm meter - test first the power supply).

  • How long does the system recovery take for lost/damaged files?

I have a PC Compaq Presario SR5710F & have lost or damaged Windows install & maybe other files system as well.   (Win Update, etc. won't work without him).  How long does a system recovery takes to get with my 3 discs that I did on purchse from my pc?  Thank you!

Three disk might take an hour or less but if you have hardware problems like bad memory, HDD, DVD, power recovery discs provide or bad capacitors, etc. it may never end.

  • Request a product key after 3 years. Product included with Dell original keys do not work.

Over the past two days, Windows started asking me to validate my product code.  This, despite the fact that I had the same OS since May 2007.  I do not know what prompted the change, but I have two codes of product on the CD provided by Dell.  One is for the OS, the other is for Microsoft Office professional 2007.  The only other CD received with the system is Dell XPS drivers and resources.  No Microsoft Product Code is acceptable for this verification process.

Which MAY have been prompted by installing a new motherboard - the previous Dell motherboard had to be replaced due to several bad capacitors.  However, not sure how this affects the o/s installed previously.  The computer works in a manner consistent with the change of the motherboard for about 2 weeks now.  The new motherboard is a 2.67 image system and RAM has been improved at the same time to 4 GB.   I thought I would include these changes even if they seem not related to the evolution of the o/s.

    Thank you.

Thanks for the replies, I will examine in detail a little later.

No, in answer to your question - the new motherboard is not made by Dell.  Dell had a problem a few years with the defective capacitors - although there are a few motherboards of Dell stock, there is no interest to replace an original motherboard with bad capacitors, with a new Board of Directors with the same problems.  Dell has replaced bad motherboards a couple of years, but mine had not blown at the time, and I'm not "excluded".

In addition, the replacement with Dell motherboard is $400 + US dollars for a dual core (and comes with the same potential problem of capacitor), while I was able to get a new card with a quad core locally for about $250.  Is not supposed for several points of view to do otherwise, I think.

The system doesn't seem to work with a few minor quirks, what are the consequences of inaction?  I can't afford to raise more money on this problem, as I am a student full time and cannot afford to replace the operating system...

    He@ther

Provided by the Dell original OS keycode will OPERATE ONLY with a card mother Dell. You can buy a new key code which, by chance, usually comes with the installation media.

You may have saved money on the Exchange and got yourself a better computer, but still you have to pay $400 after buying a new operating system. Look on the bright side, for $400, you have a more powerful computer. Consider making Windows 7.

  • Desktop - 500 b MT does not start, no post... in short power for a second, stops

    Hello out there

I have a HP desktop 500b MT with an issue of power. I'm guessing that it is the Commission which turned bad.

Symptom: when I connect the power it will power briefly, then turns off. Occasionally he'll go as far as tone on the POST, but that's all. I traded PSU, deleted / reinstall RAM, reinstall / deleted all components cablesto. There is no graphics card on PCI express... only tissue VGA on board.

In addition, to briefly turn on the PC I have to drain the power from the PSU... which means that I have to remove the power cable, press the power button / stop as if you try to start near the top of the power cable reconnect it and try to start. Then it will briefly power and turn off the power.

Someone had a similar problem... would it be a bad capacitor that needs to be replaced?

    Thank you

    Hello

Well, you did a good troubleshooting so far and the prediction is that the problem could be located on the system board.

It's a capacitor, I can not say, but in my opinion, the problem may be motherboard or processor, one of the two.

In terms of solution, don't know what to do, or offer the motherboard to someone who can verify and repair the motherboard or you buy a new piece, don't know what solution you are willing to search for.
