2 scroll bars in 1 BAR?

Recently, I noticed that I have to to two scroll bars in a scroll bar.

I posted a picture so that one who is caregiver can have a better understanding of what I mean.
Never seen it happen & don't know how to fix

Have you tried to reboot Windows since this appeared? I wonder if some program that has the property of "always on top" crashed and bar on the left.

I have upgraded to Windows 10.
Now the fireplace (Yes, it's the latest version) scrolls top down in erratic Web pages.
I can't control the right scroll bar.
Even after clicking on it or by moving up and down, either with the use of the touchpad, arrows and arrows at the top / below the scroll bar itself, it moves just everywhere anywhere on the page.
The same thing occurs when multiple tabs are open. They scroll left and right erratically.

  • Location bar history shows my most visited websites in a small box with a scroll bar, is there a way to expand this and make it longer (with no scroll bar)

For a long time my address bar is backwards, the triangle button (I guess it's called the location bar history or something) always showed my most visited Web sites in a big box with all my sites. Now it always does the same thing but the window its shorter and has now a scroll bar on it, is there a way to restore or change this option to how I got it?

If you see a lot less you could have an extension or a theme problem.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox, Tools/menu key > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox, Tools/menu key > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

You use a touch pad? After you move the pointer over the scroll bar, you use tap/hold/drag to move the 'thumb' scroll bar to the bottom of the page? During this process, the 'thumb' changes usually color - for example, it could be darker than when you just drag the pointer of the mouse around above him. It does not appear that he be chosen successfully?

  • No scroll bar displayed

I upgraded my Mac OS 10.10.4 (Yosemite) and now I have no scroll in Firefox windows bar. I can use the arrow down to get a scroll bar to appear, but it is terribly boring. Even after I arrow down and the scroll bar appears, it will disappear after use. Is there a setting to have the visible scroll bar at all times?

I suspect that it is a system setting. Scrollbars disappear was introduced in Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks. See this thread to find out how to change the world: why the roll bars quickly disappear in firefox on OS x 10.9?

  • Linux Firefox 38 Scroll Bars change (for worse) behavior

With the update for Firefox 38, the scroll bars are are suddenly bad. The correct behavior for Linux scroll bars when you click on above view indicator (the part that you can move) is to move to the top of the screen and when you click below view indicator is to move to the bottom of the screen. When you the Middle click in an invisible box, it moves you directly to this part. And you can enter the indicator and drag it anywhere.

With 38, when you click above or below the indicator view, it now moves you directly to this part/area rather than move to the top or the bottom of the SCREEN. This is not another Linux applications - LibreOffice, claws, Pluma, Thunar, etc.. It is inconsistent and a mess of support. Worse, I searched on the preferences and about: config and I cannot find a way to put it back the way that it is supposed to work (as it did in Firefox 1 to 37 and even Netscape Navigator). What is going on?

    Help! Thank you

    HI crxssi,
I understand that in the linux version of Firefox, there is a difference in the way that scrolling works in version 37 and 38.

There are two places that control smooth scrolling:
Subject: #advanced under 'Général' preferences there are scroll smoothly.

There was another topic: config entry mentioned here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../981140

However if there was a change in the update, please post if there is not always an improvement.

  • On the right side of the br5owser, there is a scroll bar, the scroll bar is not no matter what a contrast and is almost invisible, can't find it?

Have seen other issues similar to mine and they can be on the same issue, but they say that the scroll bar disappears, in fact, it's still there but almost invisible. Try to click on it without knowing the exact location to cause the uncontrolled scrolling page. Other issues advised people to restore their browser by default, but that did not help at all. Had this same problem for about 6 of the latest versions of firefox, all say in the 1930s versions. I tried adding contrast high Windows as an experiment, but that did not help at all either. Been trying help for awhile and just now decided to ask myself a question as the other speakers may have given or answerers may think it is resolved.

In searching through help files it has led me to find a space based theme for the browser that I enjoy, but does not solve issue of course, so... all is not lost. Took a jpg of the image of the browser that shows the issue and am trying to upload it but looks like it is stuck in upload mode. Ugh "high speed" , anyhow maybe it uploaded and is not showing, the bar on the right is about 3/4 of the way down the side if you can see it, almost invisible.

    Core-el,

    Thank you
Discovered it was my own question of system, but had to talk with others, before I realized how in the absence of mind my question was. Old system had control of contrast on the screen, and they have been set to 4 digits off the coast of 50 / 100. I wouldn't think that little would make a difference, because it doesn't have in all the other use of the browser, but he did. So was my system, actual physical hardware settings. Sorry for wasting your time but thanks much for all of your thoughts.

  • Why the horizontal scroll bar does not disappear when windows are maximized, but reappears when minimize?

I'm a fool to the computer. I fix my car and I don't fix my computer. If there is no easy solution, I'll pay someone to do it for me. So, is there an easy way to retrieve my horizontal scroll bar? I've updated to the latest Firefox (35). I restored my computer to an earlier date when everything was ok. I downloaded another browser (Chrome) to see if that would fix it. Nothing has worked. The system I use is Windows 7 64 bit. I tried not to do anything, because this has led to big problems in the past. Suggestions, or I need to take the machine to my fix - it person?

Thanks for any assistance yu might be able to provide.

Bingo! You have reason, cor - el. Thank you.

I never noticed this before. Sometimes (when I'm too lazy to get up and do my glasses or cannot find them) I just increase the size of the window.

To me it seemed that the scroll bar was still there, and then it wasn't. Hours lost, but a lesson learned. I did not mention that I am a fool to the computer, I don't?

    Thank you!!!

I doesn't seem to work if you apply too full: hidden in the object tag.
It doesn't work if I add this attribute to the body of the animation.
You can consider using an iframe that have scrollbars hidden instead of an object tag.
