  Try the following:

  1. Open Control Panel > Device Manager
  2. Plug in your device
  3. Locate Universal Serial Bus Controllers > Apple Mobile Device USB Driver.
     It is also possible that the device may appear under imaging devices, portable devices or other devices or as a device USB of MTB.
  4. Right-click and select software update of the driver...
  5. Click Browse my computer for driver software
  6. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Apple Mobile Device Support\Drivers or

  If not try a complete tear down and rebuild iTunes in accordance with the resolution of the problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

  I shows that I have more than 17 GB of photos on my iPhone.  Why do I have so much storage taken up so I use iCloud photo library and I also have optimize enabled on my iPhone?

  What type of file? Did you use iCloud drive?

  Try to go to iCloud.com to see if the elements are there and whether the device or the computer. That should indicate if the device or computer is not synchronizing. If the computer, try going to System Preferences/iCloud and stop synchronization. Wait a few minutes, then recheck the timing. If the device, go to settings/iCloud and do the foregoing. You can also try connecting to iCloud and then reconnect.

  In settings/iCloud is iCloud drive turned on? That should give you a player to iCloud application.

  Tap your id in settings > iTunes and App Store on our iPhone and tap "sign out" on the context menu, log out of the old version of your account (you updated your existing account, na not create a new account?), and you can then connect with the updated version (and even on your iPad).   MacBook running 10.9.5 has my Photostream photos stored in iCloud, and I can access it from my computer. But I just got a new iPhone with iOS 6s 9, and I can't see all of the photos in iCloud.   ITunes game completed its scan of your iTunes library on your computer. So what is the status of your music iCloud - it must be bought, matched or download. If so, they should be available to stream on your iOS devices. I suggest that you turn off icloud music library and you disconnect from iTunes on your iOS device. Now, reconnect and turn on iCloud music library.

  AH HA.  I used to look at the photos through system preferences settings. I just checked photos > Preferences > iCloud, which shows the «update» Thursday Today is Wednesday then why isn't it up-to-date? And more importantly, how can I force it to sync?

  We understand that you want to send a picture from your iPhone to your Mac via AirDrop, but the devices do not see each other.

  The reason for this behavior is because of Mac model you are currently using. You have the MacBook Pro (mid 2009) will not meet the requirements to use Mac to Mac AirDrop, but to send or receive with an iPhone, the Mac must be a Yosemite 2012 or later running or a later version.
