20.0A1 nightly of Firefox on Windows 8 64-bit subway tile missing.

OS: Windows 8 Pro RTM 64-bit;
Firefox Edition: 20.0a1 night 64-bit (no later than December 16, 2012)
Download address:http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla-central/firefox-20.0a1.en-US.win64-x86_64.installer.exe
Problem: I did every night as my default browser, but Firefox tile does not appear in the metropolitan area. I can only launch desktop edition.

This is because the ordinary channel central Nightly builds is only the version of office.

You need a generation that has Metro support.

  • conflicts of Outlook and firefox on Windows XP 32-bit

    Problem reports and fix:
Latest Firefox on Windows XP 32-bit.

Earlier, Microsoft Office updates have been applied in the past months.

There were a lot of problems where Outlook and Firefox seem to share the same video address space, parts of Windows Outlook appeared in the windows of Firefox and vice verse. It's a pain. I needed to have one or another stop for each other at work and then things got worse than that, Firefox crashing very often. So I did a system restore to the 01/01/2015, which has removed the MS Office updates. Then Firefox and then didn't start because he didn't like the system restore. Reinstalled Firefox on top of Firefox [uninstall] and it starts now.

Now, Firefox and Outlook work well. Will not apply to MS Office updates as MS is not stable or worrying questions about Windows XP.

The problem has been fixed. You are implying that restored system restored a video driver update and that was not the case. Yes, the video display problem in question, but it doesn't seem to be a video driver issue.

I posted with the solution so that it would be here if someone had a similar problem. I don't know why you trying to tell me how to fix something I said has been set.

  • After the 24 Firefox update, Windows 7 64-bit breaks on reboot. The network in the taskbar icon is not ready (blue circle stopped).

After 24 of Firefox update, Windows 7 breaks after the reboot. The network in the taskbar icon is not ready (blue circle on the wireless network icon). But I can't do much. I can't open the network and sharing Center (never opened). Even the Task Manager hangs when I click to show processes from all users. I have to do a system restore for a network working again. I never even launched Firefox.

Wow... I finally have the solution. Windows updates have been applied at the same time I updated Firefox. Bluetooth driver is what broke (which is part of the Centrino wireless). I ended up installing the latest driver from Intel, Windows Update, and then update Firefox... and all is well.

I thank very you much for all your help. Take care.

  • Display problems using Firefox with Windows 7, 64-bit

    Hi support them

I have a new desktop computer running Windows 7, 64 bit.
When I use Firefox version 3.6.8 to view my Web site, it displays everything out of alignment.
If I use IE 8.0 it shows very well.
If I use my laptop which is running Win XP site displays fine with IE 8.0 and Firefox.
So I guess it may be a problem with Win 7, 64 bit and Firefox work well together.
Is there a ready solution to help solve this problem or I have to wait until Firefox came out in a 64-bit version?

    Hey Buddy,

Of course, you can use Firefox on the Qosmio G50. Why it shouldn't be possible? Firefox can be used on all computers.

In my opinion, you should try put it back. Download the latest version and update. Maybe it works.

  • Flash Player 11.9.900.117 not recognized by Opera and Firefox on Windows Vista (32-bit) SP2

I use 4 browsers on my laptop Toshiba Windows Vista (32-bit) SP2:

    Internet Explorer 9

    Google Chrome Version 30.0.1599.101 m

    Opera Version 17.0.1241.45

    Mozilla Firefox Version 24.0

I just downloaded and installed Flash Player 11.9.900.117, which is recognized by IE9 and Chrome from Google, but not in Opera and Firefox, even after closing the browser and re-start.

How can I get Flash Player to work with Opera and Firefox?

    Thanks for your help.

    See you soon,.

    Joel

There are two different versions of Flash Player for Windows (3 If you count Chrome)

ActiveX which is ONLY for IE,

Flash Player for other browsers which is for Opera, Safari and Firefox, and

"PepperFlash" that is built into Chrome by Google.

Download the tool or another browser version will have NO EFFECT on Chrome.

Download of the ActiveX version WILL NOT install a plugin for Opera or Firefox because they do not use controls ActiveX - NO browser but IE uses not since about 2001.

Download Adobe Flash Player for Firefox and Opera setup directly by clicking on the following link.

Flash Player plug-in (all other browsers)

  • 36.0A1 Nightly of Firefox (2014-11-11) - why, when you call WebRTC, I appear successfully ringing the destination but on the response of destination, there is no audio

I built a simple website (www.badtothebone.wtf). At the bottom of each page of the site, there is text 'Call for your WebRTC browser - compatible' and below a click2dial link - "http://click2dial.org/u/YWRtaW5AYmFkdG90aGVib25lLnd0Zg==". It works well, and as it should be on the current versions of developer and Canary of Chrome and Opera Developer. In Firefox Nightly 36.0a1 (2014-11-11), I can hear the ring of destination after the "enabling the microphone" step, but there is no other audio in Firefox. Call logs indicate that the call is connected to the destination (where a message is read and can leave a message).

After a thorough reading and research on this issue, I found that this is a known issue with how Firefox differs from Chrome and Opera by establishing a DTLS handshake required for click2dial. This can apparently be solved by creating a self-signed OpenSSL certificate. I have more research to do before I create my certificate, but now realize that the problem is solvable. As originally stated, it works as expected in Chrome and Opera.

  • 25.0A1 Nightly of Firefox (on Linux) - proxy (SOCKS) does not work

    Hello

I am using SSH tunnels to create a SOCKS proxy. When I used Firefox 23 it works fine, when I use a recent version of every night, don't worry. I use an add-on of FoxyProxy normally, but I tried to turn it off completely and use the proxy settings internal (SOCKS, localhost, 6789) then it does not work either.

I understand, you may need more detailed information, but please specify what information you require.

    Thanks for your help

I'm really sorry, I have some additional info

I tried to run every night in safe mode and manually set the SOCKS proxy and it works as assumed.

In this case, it might be a problem with the addon code

    Thank you for your help.

Two of the crash IDs have been automatically "linkified" in your message, and both are, as you suspected it, problems in the version of the Flash plugin.

It is a standard orientation which addresses the most common issues with the Flash Player plugin. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:

    (1) If you have any recorders/downloaders who interact with Flash media to ensure that they are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them temporarily.

    (2) disable graphics hardware acceleration in Flash

See this article from Adobe technical support: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues

    (3) disable the protected mode

You can disable that by creating or editing a settings file. The following/posts pages provide different ways to do this:

To download the Flash completely (closing and restarting Firefox could help) until it takes effect.

  • Is firefox 8 compatible with windows 7 64 bit?

I put my computer to level and it will have windows 7 64 bit installed. Can I use Firefox 8 or do I have to use a 64-bit version?

Is there a single main heading/section of this site for people who want to use 64-bit Firefox on 64 bit OSs?

For example, one of my clients is interested in deploying a 64-bit Firefox on Windows 7 64 - bit OS, as I can deploy a 64-bit IE 9 browser.

  • Flash Player for Firefox on Win 8 / 64-bit

I'm trying to install Flash Player for Firefox on Windows 8, 64-bit system, but have no end of grief.

I finally get the problem initially, and it happens because when I enter the info on the download page, it instead serves the Setup program for the 32-bit version.

In fact, it checks on the page that I request and download the 64-bit version, but what I get and then install is 32-bit.  And, therefore, I can't get Flash Player to work in Firefox.

Is there any way at all I can access the true 64-bit Flash Player for Firefox / Windows 8?

There is no installation of 32-bit and 64-bit; on a 64-bit system, the Setup program will automatically install 32-bit and 64-bit players.

    Download the installer from http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player.exe

  • 64-bit version of Firefox for Windows

    Hello

I was wondering how to get a 64-bit version of Firefox, for Windows 7. A search on the Internet shows these as being available on a few Web site:
    http://www.windows7download.com/
    http://www.firefox64bit.com/

I guess these are genuine, but I'm confused as to why they are not available on the Mozilla site. I searched on the support forum and found an answer that is one year old (http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/782154), which indicates that a 64-bit version may be available after 12 of Firefox. Unless I am confused about the nomenclature of versioning used, the latest version of Firefox is 24. Are there still not a 64 version, but official Firefox available for Windows?

Thank you and best regards, Ashok

Mozilla is not a version of Firefox 64-bit for Windows operating systems. Mozilla has every evening at the alpha level 64-bit versions for Windows, but currently they are generated to verify that this channel every night, the changes are not broken on 64-bit Windows versions.

There are a few 3rd party 64-built, like Waterfox, but these are not the official versions of Mozilla.
