2004-address addresses Outlook Express
I don't know if this is possible, but I wanted to add a list of emails from customers that I recorded on a CSV to Excel in the address book. I can easily import the file and the address, but I was looking for have added them only in a folder or a group to keep the customer list and the other separate personal emails. I can't add them in a separate category. Is it possible to do it and avoid to sort all emails?
I guess that you have Outlook Express 6, there is no 2004. You might be able to get around this by using a separate address book. Not really sure though. Folders & groups neither import nor export.

How can I move addresses outlook express to outlook 2010 on a new HP computer. The old computer was XP and Outlook Express 2004.
Hello
You must export the file as a csv (comma Separated Values) text file.

Then, import the .csv file into outlook 2010.

I installed a free trial of office 2010, but he did not understand the editor which was what I wanted. I uninstalled it now I lost my address book in outlook express and can't open saved emails.
I can't find my software or backup and think that I lost when I moved.

Yes, you will need to reinstall Office 2000. When you installed Office 2010 trial, he removed Office 2000. Once you get the cd, reinstall Office and should be back up and running.
I can't offer any assistance with address number address Outlook Express however.
Thank you...

Then you have no DWORD named UseOutlook. Fix? In this case, check all of the following conditions. Don't ignore all the elements that are on older versions of OE. They are still topical.

Address book disappeared and can not open/send email from Outlook Express 6
KB911567 and KB917288 describe the problem exactly, however, problem with the display resolution.
I can't find 911567 security update uninstall. There is just no Spuninst.exe not associated with this update and it does not appear in Add / Remove programs.
Is there another solution or is this a different problem?

I move from a Windows XP computer to a Windows 7 computer. My old computer has Outlook Express. I've migrated successfully my emails and messages archived in Thunderbird on the new computer. I also migrated the Outlook Express address book using an external hard drive, but I was not able to understand how to find the Outlook Express address book in Thunderbird. The only way that I could find the Outlook Express address book, is to go to 'tools' and 'import' and then import the Outlook Express address book. When I do this, the Outlook Express address book features, duplicate entries (because I imported twice now). When the Outlook Express address book shows, it works without problems and I can use it to send emails. But once I close the Outlook Express address book, I can't find him. Other messages, I see that the "Address book" tab in Thunderbird should open a window containing a list of available on the left side address books. But this window in my computer does not display a list of address books. There is just a blank window for the address book personal (it has no contacts inside) and there is nothing on the left side.
in the display (alt + V) address book menu > layout > directory pane.

Import Outlook Express e-mail and addresses
We install the mail Tbird on xp client. Question: if I import my willingness to data (address book, emails, folders) they always remain on Outlook Express, or they will be gone? Is essentially importing a MOVEMENT or a COPY function?
This is a copy and translate the action, the former do not get affected at all.

How to import a saved address book Outlook Express on a memory stick from another PC?
I'm migrating from an old machine to Windows XP on a Windows 7 PC and can not use my original email client, Outlook Express. But I need import OE since the XP PC AddressBook to Thunderbird on PC Win 7. Any ideas?
Click the Start button, type contacts, then open the Contacts program, then click on the button import, then select the address book (.wab) Windows file and select your OE address book. Then, click on the export button and select comma-delimited (csv) format. Once you have the csv file, you must open in a program editor or csv spreadsheet and organize columns to match the layout of the TB address book. Finally, in TB, select Tools/import... Address books... Text file... Select the csv file and verify that the input fields correspond to TB.

Hello bleetie, firefox does not interfere with your outlook express-book of addresses either. something else on your computer must have gone wrong - please contact microsoft technical support or a forum on outlook express, since we have very probably cannot get any solution for the problem you described...

Outlook Express file delivery with mailto address:
Sites with mailto: links do not pass through the address of the recipient to Outlook Express with Firefox 5. This problem has persisted for at least 4 months now, and a fix was promised months ago. I am running 5.0.1 on a PC with Windows XP. Outlook Express runs, but does not open the new message window and of course nothing is filled in.
MSIMN.exe is Outlook Express.
As far as I know Outlook Express has been replaced by Windows Live Mail even if use you it just like Outlook Express on your computer, not on a web page. But I had been on Windows 2000 and am now on Windows 7. You are on XP.
When I looked at mailto: mine shows "Windows Live Mail (default)" and shows 'WinMail.exe' details chosen and Yahoo Mail and GMail. And the commentary to the dialog box for the selected-"this application is located in: C:\Program Files\Windows Mail\WinMail.exe".
Most things seem to be found by dumb luck, even more luck is when what you find, it's something that you really want. Someone else will probably have the same problem a day - please mark the issue as resolved so that all those who are seeking answers to the same problem knows that there is a solution available. I doubt that I would have looked beyond the default selection. Do you want to show Outlook Express in the title bar, or you do not show Windows Live Mail (or something slightly different, that I do not remember what was between the two).

Outlook Express Hotmail Outlook photo project vs vs vs vs new email address
I had Outlook Express until January 2009. I moved to another State and created a Hotmail account. I didn't close my Outlook Express account so as a result I can not send pictures and send to some people without bringing to the top of this screen. If I change my Hotmail to Outlook should I create a new password? And if I do how all contacts will receive the new address? If I combine the two accounts will I be able to use Picture Project?

Hello
What type of e-mail account in Outlook Express did you use?
Outlook Express is a program of e-mail that was included in Windows XP and earlier versions. You can access any e-mail account in this program. Outlook Express has been replaced by Windows Mail in Vista and Windows Live Mail on Windows 7.
Hotmail and Outlook.com are e-mail accounts. Although Outlook.com replaces Hotmail, you can still use the Hotmail.com address, as long as you want.

original title: outlook express
I can receive and answer emails on outlook express but I am unable to store a contact or add sender to address book. I get the error message "an error has occurred. Outlook Express could not add the sender to the address book"
Office has not OE and Outlook. Are you sure you are using OE and not Outlook?
The default location of the address book (wab file) is C:\Documents and Settings\ [username] \Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book\username.wab
The location is hidden, so you must go to control panel | Folder options | Discovers and check the box to include the display of the hidden files and folders and uncheck the option to hide the extensions of the file types that you want to know. Then see if you can browse to the location of the wab file and find him then.
