  Having Windows 7 64 bits should not affect your ability to download contect for any game.  If you have upgraded your PC from XP to Windows 7, you may want to uninstall\reinstall the game and then try to download\install the additional courses.  If you have a problem to download, check that your firewall or antivirus does not download.  You can perform a clean boot , and then try to download.  If there is still a problem, you must contact EA support to see if they have alternative download sites to try.   Gentlemen.

  I was able to get separate additional courses for Tiger Woods Golf 2008 on a website when I had XP, 32 bit.  Now that I have Windows 7, 64-bit, I'm unable to download additional courses.  Does not be compatible for Windows 7.  The web sit I got these courses is http://www.coursedownloads.com/coursesource/real.asp?gameid=11 is there anyway that I can download from this web site.  A driver problem or something that will allow me to do this?

  As in their forums as to whether their courses are compatible Windows 7.

  Some friends and I were playing tiger woods 2008 via a local network online connection.  We all live in different areas, and we connect with direct IP.  I had a weird problem.  If I start my computer and go in tiger woods and then online games and then connect to a direct ip (lan), everything is good.  However, after the game everyone disconnects and the host sets up another game and we go back in.  Well it won't let me it says: "the host IP does not appear to host a game Tiger Woods PGA Tour (R) 08.  So if I restart the computer it let me new.

  Also, so that my player must be able to swing and hit the ball right I have to unplug my mouse keyboard and logitech G9 g11.  Also, I have to unplug these devices for ventrilo work correctly also.  Any help on these questions would be great.

  Since when are you facing this problem? How long have you encountered this problem? The mouse you have, it's a wireless mouse? The mouse has always been a problem in playing?

  First of all I would like allows you to place the computer in a clean boot state and check if the problem occurs in the boot, to place the computer in a clean boot state, follow these steps:

  a. log in the computer using an account with administrator rights.

  b. click Start , type msconfig.exe in the Start Search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click continue.

  c. under the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the Load Startup items check box. (The box use the Boot file is not available.)

  d. on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft services check box and then click on disable all.

  Note Following this step lets services Microsoft continue to run. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use to restore the system with the existing restore points.

  e. click OK, and then click restart.

  Please check if the problem reoccurs after restarting the computer.
   
  You can also disable antivirus software and firewall and check if the problem occurs again.
   
  Reset the computer to start as usual after you have finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

  a. click Start , type msconfig.exe in the Start Search box and press ENTER. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click continue.

  b. on the general tab, click the Normal startup option and then click OK.

  c. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click restart.

  If it worked before on Windows XP service pack 2, you try to install the Windows XP service pack 2 game, by referring to the following steps:

  (b) click on properties, then click on the Compatibility tab.

  (c) select the compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 2.

  (d) click OK.

  Is someone can you please tell me if you can update the graphics/video card on this machine as we are having trouble loading and playing games (Sims 2 deluxe) and Tiger Woods 08 and a friend mentioned that the graphics card on this laptop does not support them. AFAIK there are here with 1 GB of memory, 128 MB graphics card and two games require at least 32 mb videocard support and yet they either load up, then stop responding or if I do get not one to play it crashes after a few minutes. Is there something that can be done to run one of these games?

  I try to use my Golf Launchpad Tour Golf Simulator, when I opened the Lao PDR Swing Analytics I get the following: Golf Launchpad is not connected. Please connect the golf launchpad on the USB Port of your computer.
  I went through the T/S advice provided by ElectricSpin.Com, it is not very useful, I unplug and plug the into my USB port, in Device Manager it appears without any error. It does not in my game of Tiger Woods 08 EA. The dashboard lights and provides accurate on launchpad lighting, if it is connected. I recognize the swing with the sequences of correct lighting, I think that something is wrong with the USB recognition or perhaps with the inf file. I'm not sure, just speculating.

  Execution of media classic version 6.4.9.0 with Windows XP PRO with SP3 Version 3311.  These files ran before the recent windows updates.  I use Classic as a tool to learn how to improve my golf swing.  This is the only version where I can stop/reading/playforward and watch a frame at a time.  I have a file with Tiger Woods starts idling and I look to improve my game.  The error message indicates that the MP4 CODEC is missing.  Can update do I have to remove to make it work again or where I find the missing codec to download?  All other files are working except the MP4.

• Replace the text in the string

  I would like to know how I could continue to write something that would allow a string of variable length to replace in a longer string, subject 'inner chain' is bounded by something.
  
  In other words, assume the string is something like

  Tiger Woods +15/09/2010+

  where the character was more used as a delimiter. I would like to extract this possibility to leave Tiger Woods. I can't do a simple substr, because the string can be

  +15/09/2010+ Tiger Woods

  . It could even be

  Tiger +15/09/2010+ Woods

  . Or it could be

  Tiger Woods +September 2010+

  . In all cases, the correct return is plain Tiger Woods.
  
  Point is, I want to remove everything between the two more brands wherever they appear and return what is left.
  
  I'm guessing that maybe that's a job for regular expressions, but I dread, so yes, because I'm not very good for them!

  Although you will notice let outdoor spaces, you can do another to delete extra spaces.
