  Details of the full patch for f5 patch are available in this knowledge base article. As a general statement, we encourage everyone to install the patches as soon as they are available through the Update Service, especially if they are marked as Urgent (it is not marked urgent). In this particular case, it is unlikely that you'll turn to all the problems solved by the f5 2012 SP1 hotfix since you use LabVIEW 2013.

  The reason why you see the update in the update service is LabVIEW 2013 installs several versions of the runtime LabVIEW, so Update Service sees that you have on 2012 Run-Time Engine installed and invites you to patch.

• Program LabVIEW will hang between 33% and 50% of the time.

  I have a problem with a Labview program, I did. I have two programs that do the same thing. One is as a flat sequence, and the other is in the form of State machine.

  I did some simple test programs that I join since then. The problem is when running, that the labview program crashes, but not all the time is to run the program.

  For example: Hall 1.2.vi will correctly work twice with the third time, he is executed, it crashes. If Cancel you and try again, it will run again twice without any problem with the third hanging. It is in the flat sequence format (was in a flat sequence, but merged windows because I thought that was the cause).   I used the running highlight button and watched the program to run. Curiously, it only crashes when you use this button. So I tried to add some delays/waiting in different places without success.

  This could be the cause? As a side note, I say that the program is suspended for two reasons. The principal is the program does not run so the execution arrow is always black.   (3) uninstall all software from OR via MSIBlast, delete all the registry keys OR by rebooting and reinstall through my installation media.

  (4) uninstall all software from OR via MSIBlast, delete all the registry keys, restart and reinstall the last LV 2014 SP1 from the Web site of NOR

  Nothing seems to solve this problem and now I'm really to the top of the Creek.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I got it fixed. I have no idea why it would work, but here's what I did.

  -Reinstalled LV 2014. Problem was still there.

  -Uninstalled all via the control panel.

  -Remove the following registry trees

  HKEY_CURRENT_USE\Software\National Instruments

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\National Instruments

  -Reboot

  -J' found always had a repertoire of Instruments of \National C:\Program Files (x 86), so I removed that.

  -Installed LV 2013 who then worked.

  -LV2013 uninstalled via the control panel. Delete the directory C:\Program Files (x 86) of Instruments \National again. (Not sure if this was necessary, but I wanted to see if a previous version worked)

  -Reinstalled LV2014 latest version via download.

  Problem is now solved.

• Cluster commands cause a loop for hanging or LabVIEW to hang

  I'm working on a program that has three groups.  Each cluster has LED controls inside them.  During the test the controls Board Image, block diagram and number of measure will be changed accordingly.  When the survey, all loop this one most are often those (Board picture) from the top and bottom (figure).  LabVIEW sometimes becomes unresponsive and I have to cancel the program.  Any suggestions?

• 2012 LabVIEW Eval/training MVC tutorial must IMAQ but Vision must LV 2011 installed in order to install.

  I'm using LabVIEW 2012 evaluation of training mode in order to find a location using LabVIEW. A MVC tutorial looks like a very good example and I can open the first VI, Starter.vi of MVC, but when I try to open the project which includes screws to MVC OOP advanced with controls and Factory.vi, it must IMAQ live but when I try to install Vision in order to get the screws IMAQ, it needs LV 2011 installed in order to install the Vision and will not proceed with the installation of Vision/IMAQ.

  After searching the site OR days to get responses LVOOP I found this tutorial that could be useful, if it's actually working.

  Setup of Vision should probably work with 2012, but the installer was not setup to work with 2011 or later.

  In addition, I have not found a good description of what the MVC "framework" is all about.

  I used LabVIEW since the beginning of the 1990s, but not from my NI Suite which included LV 8 and LVOOP about 2007. I desperately need a step by step "how-to and why ' for LVOOP, ACTOR, etc. I'm through the core I and Core II manual of training for certification, but it needed LabVIEW work as soon as POSSIBLE and do not have the $2,500 to upgrade my NI Suite or $10,000 for training or time to complete certification now.

  It seems that every time that I start to make progress and NI LabVIEW, I hit a roadblock. Nothing seems to ever work as announced.

  First, you must determine what version of LabVIEW, you: 2011, 2011 SP1, 2012, 2012 SP1. You can find this by opening LabVIEW and navigate using-> on LabVIEW...
