2012 MacBook Pro running slowly after installation of el capitan
I saw this post made by many people many times - that their computer started running slowly after the installation of the el capitan. I tried to read every post I could on this topic, and I can't find the solutions. I was told that it could be everything from upgrading ram and an SSD hard drive, to the delivery of programs to remove the adware. In the end, I can't understand why it runs very slowly now, the only change has been the upgrade to el capitan, otherwise everything went much before. If someone knows a way to understand the problem or to find a solution that would be amazing!

Mid 2009 macbook pro running slow after update
I had my computer since 2009, everything was quickly until I upgraded to Snow Leopard to El Capitan. After the update to El Capitan turn quite slowly. He was also heat very quickly. I ran first aid and running being check. I backed everything up to TimeMachine, removed several old files (movies, photos, etc.), but it is still slow. My MacBook is so slow after installation of El capitan and filevault does no encryption
Hello, so I just installed OS X El Capitan and now my MacBook is so slow and keeps freezing, I cleaned my MacBook and it is still slow and always gel. I tried to turn off filevault encryption but it says that I can't turn off until he finshes encryption I tried restarting but nothing works. I also have a problem with the wifi connection, he is saying that it is connected, but does not do anything and I get a message saying that there is no internet connection. I have a MacBook pro 13 inch, beginning 2011. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated! I can't really consider anyone because I have exams in a few days and I need mines for study. 2012 MacBook Pro VERY slow after restoring from time machine
Recently, I upgraded my hard drive on a seagate drive. I went from 500 GB to 1 TB. The installation went well. Later, I followed the steps to set up the hard drive:
1. start the computer by using the R command
2. open disk utility
3. formatting the new hard disk by the computer specifications
4 closed disk utility
Then I restored from a time machine to the top. It took about 3 hours I had about 350 GB of data to restore. Since that time, my computer is moving very slowly! For example, the start-up takes at least 15 minutes for loading applications. Between the tabs in Chrome takes about 45 seconds to a minute. Loading a new web page takes about 3 minutes or more. Open an application like Evernote can take 5-8 minutes. Same shutdown takes about 10 minutes.
In a previous forum, someone suggested to take a look at errors in the console. I have no idea what it means. Can someone help me figure out what this topic?

I have and try to reinstall Photoshop CS5.1 on a Macbook Pro running El Capitan (OS10.11.2). I downloaded DesignStandard_CS5_LS1.dmg but when I double-click installation I get the message "'Install' is corrupted and cannot be opened. You must eject the disk image. "Someone knows what's going on? I tried to download with Safari and Firefox, but the same thing happens.

Mid 2012 Macbook Pro with or without retinal incredibly slow
Hello, I'm typing this for my mother. It has a mid-2012 Macbook pro without the retina which is very slow. She has recently updated to 16 GB of ram, and we are all pretty sure she did her properly. MacBook pro 13 "stops after apple logo
-Macbook Pro 13 "(end of 2014) with El Capitan
After I did a reboot of the machine now my macbook OS X won't start, it just shows essentially the apple logo and a loading bar, and after a long period for the load bar (which is not normal) to arrive at the end it's just stops.
I have all the updates, installed about 2 weeks ago. The last thing I did was to install an update to a Note, and then restart the laptop. I did no physical damage to the laptop or anything like that... so I'm naïve, what the * happened here.
All the solutions to continue on that? Any way to re - install OS X without losing my files? Cause first for this?
Or maybe a way to fix the "boot partition" on it?
Most likely guilty is the installation of a single Note - After all, everything worked fine until you did this installation.
Try to see if your mac can boot safe mode (hold the SHIFT key immediately after pressing the power button).
If he does, either try to simply restart normally (sometimes it's just a bad cache and start in Safe Mode clears him and everything is ok), or to uninstall a single Note.

I have a faulty ram (top) slot for a Mid 2012 Macbook Pro 13 "i5. Can I install a 8 GB Ram in the slot below or is maximally 4 GB?
This was after the 3 beep error and I couldn't restart the Mac with one of the 2 GB of Ram into the lower slot.
Is there a way to test if the top housing is faulty or just dirty?

Yes, the MBP will work with a single module of RAM installed, but there will be a slight performance decrease. A MBP 2012 will accept a module of 8 GB RAM.

Install each RAM module individually in each slot, leaving the other empty. If the two RAM modules work in a slot and not the other, the slot is faulty. Sometimes the adjustment screw can resuscitate the slot. If this is not the case, make an appointment at an Apple store for a FREE evaluation.
