• Tecra A11 - LED backlight problem

  I have great pain in my eyes after a day of working with Tecra A11 BIOS V1.7 = BIOS update. Wenn I bought it there was 1.4 BIOS the same problem with the eyes, LED backlight killing my eyes, a lot of pain after a day's work. V1.5 and 1.6 are much better (no pain) but new BIOS 1.7 is the same eye-killer than 1.4.

How many BIOS updates will be needed to make the Tecra A11 work correctly for 800 EUROS? I'll never buy anything from Toshiba.

  First of all: cool! Nobody is perfect and that these things can happen that something does not work correctly.

  I put t know what problems you have with LED backlight, but a more detailed description would be nice. A friend of me also uses the Tecra A11 but it didn t tell me questions so I think this laptop works very well.

  And I think that it of normal that there is no contact with Toshiba and you won't get any help from Toshiba because you will need to contact a * authorized service provider *. If you have a problem with your laptop, connect with these guys here. They can repair the laptop and it's free if your laptop is under warranty. On the Toshiba site, you can find a list of them.

  Finally, and especially if you have noticed that with an older version of BIOS, that everything works correctly, you can get this older version of a service as well. As you can see, it might be useful to communicate with these guys here.

  According to the specification on the official website of Toshiba, this model is equipped with normal LCD display that supports a resolution of HD +.

  I have the Satellite P500 in front of me and I m very pleased with the screen. It has a really good and bright backlight so that I can work in the open air without any problem. :)

  T500 LED option will officially announce on 9/23. It may take a little extra time for models with this Panel to be available for purchase. W500 doesn't have a LED backlight option. Hope this helps

  My new Envy 15 t-ae000 is supposed to have a LED backlit keyboard.  I see no evidence of a backlight.  Is there something that I need to activate or something, or missing?

  There is no way to disable the backlight key. It is completely controlled automatically.

  Is there a way to inject the preloader script and to fire without the onload event of the window?   I have a new laptop Inspiron 5758. When I press the power button on this topic, the power button does not, even if there is a small translucent band on it designed to show the light from an LED behind it.

  At work, we have a few new laptops Latitude 15 and their power buttons lights up when you press.

  A Dell technical support person told me that the Inspiron buttons power lights don't hurry; the single LED on the system is a forward on the half lower case which serves as an indicator of activity combination of load and disk.

  Here is my situation: I took the 150, 500 & 700 Kbps examples of f4v files and manuelly them packaged streaming rates using f4fpackager. I then placed in < FMS installation directory >/webroot/httpDynamicStream. When I access the OSMF drive on the local computer (http://[Server's Address]/OSMFPlayer/OSMFPlayer.html LAN IP) and try to play to the URL: http://[Server's Address]/httpDynamicStream/httpDynamicStream.f4m IP LAN, everything works fine. However, when I access the OSMF player that is hosted on another server on the network ((http://[Other Machine of the LAN IP Address]/OSMFPlayer/OSMFPlayer.html and pass in the URL: http://[Server's Address]/httpDynamicStream/httpDynamicStream.f4m LAN IP, I get an error #2048.)) Could someone help me understand what the problem is here? Do I need a crossdomain.xml? If so, please give an example of one that would work.

  Please use HTTP Dynamic Streaming.
  As you said, you hit the error crossdomain.xml missing itself (error code 2048 confirmed). Joined a crossdomain.xml allowing all sample (and so risky for the purposes of the tests) that you can use.

  So I tried to load a file json without success...

  My *.json file is located in the same directory as the files of edge - my sample code:

  Yes, this is the place where my code in...

  BUT

  I found the solution... My json file has a syntax error, and it seems that edge can not load, when it is not validated. (Of course there is no sign of an error in the dev-console or so...)

  So if someone has the same problem - check your json file, twice!
