2015 CC took over at the beginning of the timeline, when voice-over recording
Im trying to record some simple voiceover for a project. Whenever I click on the microphone icon in the track to start the recording, he jumps at the beginning of the timeline to record. It doesn't matter what position in the timeline panel, I always leave her start recording from the beginning. I need to be able to specify where to start voiceover recording. This does not appear to be linked to this particular project that others work great too. Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing?
I thought about it. I had to delete the entry and exit of the markers.

start the timeline when I click on the button
I'm new to flash, and I need a little help to get started. I've used the Panel shares to write a code of still picture one of my calendar. When I test my movie, he remains on the home page, which is good! I also created a "enter site" button on the home page. I want to click on this button and have the beginning of the turnaround at frame 50 timeline (where will my next 'content' label). Frame 50, I want it to stop, and so on for all my labels/pages. The action takes place on the timeline is a pan across a panoramic photograph, which stops at various points.
see you soon,
Spaldo
Instead of...
gotoAndStop (50);
use...
Play();
OR...
gotoAndPlay (2);
Note: unpredictable, sometimes the timeline need an extra push, so if this change plays, put a play(); order in the frame 2 for extra incentive.

Clips change of position on the timeline when you use temporal
First Elements 10, Win 7 x 64,
I've implemented a timeline that had four video tracks. When I added a fifth track I started to have problems. More specifically, when I put a picture clip or video yet on the fifth time track used on this new addition clip, existing clips on the third and fourth titles changed their position on the timeline in response to stretching the time applied to the clip on the title above. Why does this happen? I think the clips on the lower video tracks to do not move NOT in response to a stretch of time change for a clip on a track that precedes. How can I get to stay put during the handling of the duration of the clips on the slopes above them?
Thank you for the ideas.
I enclose three images to make what I feel clearer that perhaps my words describe above.
(top) Picture 001: timeline before changing
(in the middle) 002 image: timeline after you have added a video track 5 and adding a fixed image to this track
(bottom) Picture 003: chronology after application in time to clip image again on track 5, showing the movement of clips on tracks 3 & 4
The other tracks are just "ripple".
To override the ripple, hold CTRL (Cmd on a Mac key) that you add, remove, or edit clips on the timeline.

Activating the timeline when there is no sequence
I have read all what I am puzzled. I am familiar with RE 8 but used someone elses computer week last to capture a number of. AVI videos on betacam cassettes.
I try the version track PR pro ver 5.5. I can import my .avi files in the project Panel, but cannot get them to go to the timeline. By double-clicking them penetrates in the Preview Panel, but this is as far as I can go. Panel mounting/sequence is completely empty without video or audio of lines showing track. Also the icon to automate the sending of a number of clips to the timeline is grayed out. I'm sure I missed something simple but would appreciate any help. Thank you
Before you can edit you need to make a sequence
Go to file / new / sequence and choose a setting that corresponds to your images.
If you do not know the one who choose follow these steps:

Advancing the timeline when all the clips are visible?
Hello world. I'm looking to continue the timeline (basically gotoAndStop) when the Connectionwithsuchprocedures movieclips are visible.
I'm doing a simple game where the user clicks on differences and they (clips) are made visible in a table of the discovered differences.
When these clips are visible, the timeline should continue to the weft of congratulation.
I was given the following code:
If (mc1._visible & & mc2._visible & & mc3._visible & & mc4._visible) {}
somemovieclip.gotoAndStop ("someframelabel");
}
I replaced "mc1" etc with the instance of the entries in the table of record names which differences were found. However, I do not know where to put this script (I guess it's on the frame where the movieclips become visible when you click differences). In addition, that replace 'somemovieclip' with?
If someone could help me please, I would be very grateful
Laurence
do not use for navigation, and scenes not using the goto functions. Use the frame numbers or labels and goto methods:
on (release) {}
Engine._visible = true;
If (Rivet._visible & Port._visible & Engine._visible & Aerial._visible) {}
yourmovieclip.gotoAndStop ("Congratulations");
}
}
to label which frame, go to frame 1 of scene congratulations, click the box and in the properties panel, type congratulations in the input textfield that shows the label.

gap in the timeline when adding soundtrack
In the first paragraph 12.1, windows 64-bit: I already have all my clips have put in place and would like to add sound to the soundtrack, how can I do this without moving the clips individually? that would be too laborious.
To take a screenshot of your computer, press the Print Scrn button on your keyboard, then paste the capture image into a Photoshop Elements document and save it as a jpg file.
When you reply, click on the button of the Image along the upper part of the response box to add your screenshot.

Do you need a trigger in the timeline when you add an action?
I'm doing a replay button that works very well in an animation, but when I do exactly the same thing in another it does not work.
The animation of the work has no label at the end of the animation, no code just triggers not specified in the action and works very well. When I try to do exactly the same thing in another file, it does not at all. Can someone please advise? Am I missing something simple?
Thank you.
Kat
Nevermind, I thought about it and it was something SIMPLE! Instead of the symbols, I just had to select the stage: sym.play(1000) (0)
I was more complicated than necessary. arghghgh.

Photos go to opposite ends of the timeline when reporting, making me lose my place
Hey everybody,
I use 5.4 and whenever I tag a photo (like "Pick" or "decline") puts it at each end of my calendar and instantly jumps me there. Makes me lose my place, and I'm publishing about 1800 pictures of a concert, so you can imagine how disruptive it is.
I looked online for a solution and disappeared through menu trees, but I can't find anything
Thanks to you all
Something other than what you put as to change your sort order.

How long is the selection of the timeline?
I was like a noob when such a question came to my mind.
But it seems so normal, that it does not seem to be in the faq.
You can get the seconds since the beginning of the timeline, when you click an image cell.
But I want just the same information for the current selection ;-)
Thank you for the animators.

Yes, you will need to do the math yourself to that one. There nothing on the timeline or the Properties window to display the duration of a selection in the timeline in images or time.

First "I can't the video to the timeline" PROBLEM
Hi everyone, I can't get the video to the timeline, when I try to put it in the timeline panel, I'll see blocked symbol and only I can put sound video, I can't put my video. Help, please.
It is almost always not having your source/track of timeline targeting "lit.
Those blue boxes to the left of the railway... If it's not blue, but the background color of charcoal, you will not be able to place material on the sequence. If say the target audio source A1 is disabled, well... you can drop the video but the audio is not allowed.

No audio track in the Timeline
So the ability to add Add Audio/Video tracks to timeline are "gray would be out" and what is even more strange is that they have even one or two tracks that are usually in the timeline, when you open the new project.
Any help is appreciated.
Try this to create a new sequence:
Or, right click on a media file and select "new sequence of the Clip".
None of these methods will ensure your sequence matches your media.

How to restore the original interface of first Pro CC and drag the video to the timeline?
I downloaded the trial version doesn't have the video and audio tracks on the mounting Panel. I tried to play to find, but it's what happened instead.
Can I know how to restore the original interface?
Also, how do I drag videos to the timeline when it doesn't have any audio or video track line that I can work with, unlike the CS6 version I was using?
Thank you.
Hi Erica,
To restore:
In the menu items, choose window > workspace > reset Workspace
To add the video to the timeline:
- Select file > new > sequence and create a sequence. Drag the video to the new sequence.
or
- In the project Panel, drag your video to the new article . This will create a sequence that best matches your clips properties.
Best,

Pe10: How to turn off the display of the frame on the timeline?
Hi - I've just upgraded to Premiere Elements version 10, and I see an improvement in reliability. PE8 broke with regularity for me, but PE10 crashed yet. It is a huge improvement fo rme.
One thing that slows down my low editing much expected PE10 to redraw only the video on the timeline when I zoom in and out, scroll, etc. I do it a lot when I change a video multi-track project and I get on with spending a lot of time waiting for PE10 to select and reder to images in the scenario. I looked through the preferences, search fo a way to disable the display of video images on the timeline, but the only setting that I can find is the one that allows to set how scrolls the timeline panel, but nothing on how to control the display of video images on the timeline. I think it has a setting somewhere given the duration of the UI has endured (maybe since version 4), and the amount of testing that Adobe has obviously made on version 10.
I guess that I don't have to turn off the display of the frame on the timeline. I'd be happy with any technical that allows me to edit interactively and not spend hours waiting for the timeline to complete images. My computer has a lot of horses (quad core i7 to 3.3 GHz, 12 GB of RAM ant compatibility), so it's at the upper end of the material that first Elements users should be running.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have. -Ole Pa
Looks like you are using the 64 bit version of Windows 7. You ensure that you have installed the 64 bit version of the program? That alone should make a huge difference in performance.
Then go to the track header (name of the track, to the left of the timeline). If you click on the little icon of film on the track header, you will be able to switch between the different ways the clips appear on your timeline. If you see a period of time that you expect of your video display refresh, try to set the view so that only the first and last frame of the clip is displayed.
You can also go to Edition/Preferences/general and set the timeline playback scroll Scroll of the Page rather than smooth scroll.

Cannot save an audio track in the timeline
I have opened in PP CS4 audio mixer and can only successfully save a voice more if I move to outside the end of the timeline. Trying to record to an unused track where there are video tracks above results in no - no audio track is created.
What I am doing wrong?
THX.
No, it's really very simple.
Target/select the desired range. Position the CTI as you wish. Tap the microphone icon in the Audio Mixer Panel, ensure that the correct source is selected, and press Play. Personally, I will monitor through headphones or cut all other Audio tracks.
Now, I always create a new Audio track (add tracks) and rename to Narration, so I know that I don't have anything on the track.
You are not trying to burn to a mixture under are you?
Also, make sure that your WAB (work area bar) covers the entire timeline. Hit the------[backslash key] to zoom out, look at the WAB and find the little square in the middle. DBL click on which develop to cover 100% of the timeline.
Good luck
