  • The LED screen is used in different iPhones to AMOLED?

I have a neurological disease, and when I tried the iPhone 6 it caused severe pain in my eyes. Talk to Apple, I think that there are many factors, which increased the contrast ratio and the double domain pixels for wider view angles. Each single possible remedy and the brightness setting advanced (things like abd reducing the point white/reduce transparency/darken colors and also using the trick in the zoom settings which can be lower than the standard options brightness) has been tried with the help of the Apple support, but nothing helped, so I went back to my iPhone 5 s.

I am interested in the iPhone, and screen specifications are the same as the children of 5 years, with the exception of the screen LED instead of the LCD screen. He explained to me by a sales guy Apple that this would make the brighter than 5 s screen, but I hope that this can be supported with advanced above settings and functionality of night shift, which I already use. I tried once a Samsung phone with an AMOLED screen, and who has been terrible for my eyes and had to be returned.

So, when Apple said that the SE (and their other current phones) are HEADED, they mean AMOLED, or is there a difference? Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.

No, Apple did not use any screen AMOLED displays still on any of their devices.  Poster of line Samsung Galaxy may be best know series with AMOLED screen, but Motorola and Nokia have used on some of their devices too.

Any screen LCD needs backlight behind it to display anything, and on small portable devices that meant for the White Backlight LED (older computer LED screens and televisions used actually cold cathode ray tubes - fluorescent tubes).  Apple retina displays are still fairly traditional IPSLCD led displays for the backlight.  "Retina" is just brand name Apple for their superiors than standard resolution LCD screens.

The terms LED display and the LCD display are unfortunately become almost synonyms in the speech from the market.  But the actual display is an LCD screen and the light source that shines through it to display the image's LEDs.  An LCD on an iphone without backlight appears simply black.

  • Help, I paid for a led and everything I seem to get is lcd?

I have a W2371D when I look in the opinion, pdf, all I get is it is a LCD? I paid for an led can someone tell me what I really? Thank you

HP W2371d 23-inch diagonal screen is a Mointor LCD with LED backlighting. Almost all TV monitors and high current definition which are advertised as "LED" are the LCD with LED backlighting. This is done to distinguish them from the previous generation of monitors and HDTVs LCD. The previous generation used CCFLS (cold cathode fluorescent lamps) for the backlight.

You got exactly what you paid for.

  • Satellite A100-784 - connect to the TV via a HDMI cable

    Hi friends,

I have a Toshiba Satellite A100 - 784 PSAANE. Its a product abandoned now :-( I wonder if I can connect this laptop with the Sony Bravia LED TV via HDMI cable.
I'm not able to find if the laptop is compatible for it.

Please help me a way to find a solution to connect the led TV and how to do it? Please also help with the cables needed for the same thing.

Sorry guys, I'm quite naïve HDMI company.

    Thanks for all the help,

    Kind regards
    Perkins

    Hey Buddy,

    What do not know exactly?

The laptop has only VGA and S-Video output port but no HDMI port. So that you can t connect the laptop to the TV because you can t connect the HDMI cable to your computer.

If your TV is VGA or S-video port, you can use this cable. After the connection to the TV, press the key combination FN + F5 to switch between monitors.

  • X 301 diagnosis: bad Mobo or just KB/screen?

Just give an old X 301 (surprisingly, the first time dealing with this model) and was told by the principal that they believed that the mobo was bad due to overheating and the KB and the screen didn't work. Well, not sure how tech-savvy, they were, while taken with a grain of salt. Turns out he publish, but the (not sure if LED or CCFL) LCD lamp does not light despite the graphics being displayed on the screen (visible at extreme angles). Like they said, pressures on the keys are not recognized.

These two problems inherently need confirm now, not a bad mobo. Yet, if we consider a usb kb and external monitor, is it more likely to be components or the mobo?

I just wanted some reviews before the parts supply or even burst it open (here's hoping for loose ground cable!). * beep * solid feeling machine however. Would be nice to get this in order even without extensible CPU option.

    Type: 2774-W8Q

Reinstall a few cables, well, all right. Well well, for the most part. Thanks in any case.

  • Interleaved in progressive

Hi friends. I have a professional you opinion

Our source cameras record movies in 1920 x 1980 (FullHD), 29.97 FPS, and the source videos are interlaced.

We record social as birtdays and weedings events, if the intention is to delivery DVD / Blu - Ray for customers to look at their screens LCD, Plasma TVs and LED (and of course, the computer screens).

In fact, I edit in Premiere Pro with the same configuration as the clip: so it was a publishing an interlaced timeline.

When exporting to DVD or Blu - Ray, do you think it would be best to keep this specification "interlaced"?

Or, thinking the DVD or the Blu - Ray to be displayned normally LED, plasma and LCD TVs, it would be better to convert all the work of interlaced to progressive, then burn the DVD or Blu - Ray?

What would be the practice in this case? The progressive or interlaced? (thinking all my cameras source generate interlaced movies).

Thank you very much for the tip.

    Gustavo.

If you build your Blu - Ray player with, these are formats supported even

Our EX72 55 LED Bravia has great ghosts when we play video games on our PS3. We have tried to use 2 different high speed HDMI cables, a 15 and a 6 feet, but in vain. I read on the Spinal Tap fix people do on LCD TVs, but impossible to find all the instructions to access the "service menu" for our particular model.

Anyone else out there seen this issue or know a fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • is it right to connect cable tv DTH connection led bravia ex52tv?

I'm not sure wether I can connect to the connection cable tv via a decoder for 52 32 LED bravia ex? Is it okay to connect?

I'm already watching [flat] direct sun DTH to my TV but photo pixels are very poor, so I want to connect the cable

    Hello sashikaanth,

Welcome to the community forums of Sony.

You can connect in two ways by cable in the wall directly to the TV, then replace inputs HDMI 1 looking at direct TV, or if you try to connect your cable TV directly in your DTV box (as illustrated in the diagram below) this issue should be answered by your cable provider if it will load 2 sources.

  • BRAVIA KDL-46NX720 has stopped working

As a first step, our tv just turn off itself after 30 to 45 seconds.  We turned it back on, he went on live television, turned, then on, then left.  After that three times, it's stayed off and the red light blinks.  Following the troubleshooting online suggestions, I tried the power reset.  Now, it doesn't even go on television, it just shows the start screen "SONY", then black, green light flashes, screen SONY back towards the top, repeat once again, then the red light blinks.

Then I tried the "reset to factory settings". After a 30 seconds or so, even once, the Green LED flashes, screen SONY repeated three times followed by red light. I unplugged then the box cable and XBox, turned on TV... same result.

In addition, very practical that happened a few weeks after the expiration of the 1 year warranty.  Now what?

We have two old RCA of 15 years, two major works. Bought our first Sony on reputation four years ago and who died last year at the beginning.  Bought this Bravia only because it was on sale.  Add in a computer SONY Vaio who claimed, and it is about to be strike three.

    Hello

    Try power resetting the TV.

Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet

    Wait 60 seconds

    Reconnect the power cord.

Perform the steps mentioned below article and check if it helps.

  • DISPLAY LED HDTV EX52 TV PROBLEM

I myself had an EX52 Sony LED HDTV 40 INCH model.

After 10 months of use one day, I see that the there is no display at all in the TV.

I call the customer service and the sony engineer comes to my place, it verifies the tv and said a certain reel of TV that connects to the graphics chip does not work, when I ask him the reason for this failure, he said there is no reason, and that this thing could happen again in every two years!

A sony engineer saying this is very shocking to me.

Also, he blames the weather for this kind of question.

Let me tell you, I have an old TV for 10 years and it has not affected by weather conditions at all, I have a laptop, two smartphones and tablet that seem somehow inaffected by weather conditions.

What is the solution to this?

PS: this message is not no complain of the engineer, but is to find a solution to my problem!
