23 - g010 removal of the back cover

I am trying to remove the rear panel of the all-in-one computer from HP 23 - G010. I can't find a manual with instructions. I know that once I open the back cover it will probably cancel my warrany and that's okay. I want to increase the RAM on my own. I see two screws at the bottom and nothing else. I am looking for step by step. Thank you.

Too bad... I found the answer.

Hello, I upgrade my Ram and hard drive 16 GB of Ram and 1 TB ssd drive. I looked everywhere, but for the life of me I can't find any info on how to remove the back cover. There are utube videos that show older versions, but they are completely different. You can provide any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hello

Did you know that it's a job for parts of authorized service provider ? If you wish, for the RAM, try it please:

    1. turn off the computer. If you don't know if the computer is off or in hibernation, turn on the computer and then stop it through the operating system.
    2. remove power from the computer by disconnecting the power cord from the computer.
    3. disconnect all external devices from the computer.
    4. remove the battery (see battery on page 27).
    5. remove the optical drive (see optical drive on page 28).
    6. remove the bottom cover (see low cover on page 31).

as mentioned on page #38 of the following record:

    DIY will void the warranty.

    Good luck.

  • Remove the back cover of my Y710

    Hi all

I tried to remove the back cover of my Y710 by unscrewing all the screws that are visible, but the lid in the form of S always seems to be screwed. Just use a little more force, or there at - it a secret to this?

Just for the record, I am trying to replace the HARD drive.

    I thank in advance

    Steve.

    Success!

The HARD drive is under the Panel S shaped. To remove the Panel S shaped first remove the screws of 7 or 8. Then, start to lift the Panel upwards from the back (ie the closest edge of the hinge). The front edge of the Panel must be slid and can be popped up, as can the other edges.

    Thanks for your help,

    Steve

  • IPad Keyboard Pro require the back cover of Silicon

I see the folding cover overlooks iPad 9.7 Pro and only fit when the back cover of Silicon is also used.

This overhang is also present with the Apple keyboard and therefore demanding Silicon save coverage at the line properly?  If this isn't the case, I can use a simple body.

    Please notify.  Thank you.

I have the cover Silicon Apple and keyboard on my iPad Pro, however, I can use any combination of them, or both of them at any time, you have not physically to use silicone case to use the keyboard.  If you want to use another case/cover/skin, it is useful to check that it is compatible with the keyboard, most good quality well-known brands should have the right physical profile, but not necessarily all the 3rd party.

    I hope this helps.

  • You can remove the back cover of the Milestone 2?

Hi I just got my Milestone 2 today (9 December). Because I had to use my old phone for charging the battery I assembled the phone without the SIM card. I want to insert the SIM card now I can't remove the back. I try to push the lens of the camera and move it for abour one third of a millimeter, but no more. I broke my thumb nail trying to push even more away, without result. I can move it back again. Any suggestions?.

Maybe your back is very tight, but I can remove it easily mine in holding the phone face down, and using the apartment of my thumbs in the back and pushing the lens on the camera. It moves about 2mm and can then be raised.

    Good luck.

    See you soon,.

    Steve.

  • ThinkPad Yoga 14 - cannot unscrew the back cover

I just bought a Yoga 14 TP. I'm looking to replace the hard drive with an SSD. A video on youtube, I checked and I just need to remove the screws from 8-10 on the rear cover and then pull it out completely round hinge. But for some reason, I can't unscrew the tiny screws and proceed to their removal. I use a screwdriver 00 but I tried others. It seems that the screws are unscrewed, but they don't pop, even if I hit the back of the case with my hand. I tried using tongs to hit against the screwdriver stall the in and rotate using the clamp as I've seen in some videos, but it doesn't seem to help. Is there an automatic screwdriver and the size I would be using or else I can buy (amazon, home depot), let me know. Thank you

    Thank you

I found the answer on another Board

Here's the captive screws. They are not designed to remove completely and are usually attached to the backplate

I can always remove the backplate when they unscrewed to halfway

  • Photon: Best way to snap the back cover in place?

What is the best way to put the cover back on? What sequence I use, it seems that one of the plastic snaps is not committed.

There are instructions inside the battery cover. You start at the bottom and work your way up to the left and the right. That being said, check the clips on your lid and make sure that one of them is not folded. This happened to me the first day I bought the phone. I had to get a new one from the Sprint Store. Do not force the clip if it is wrong. I think that's how mine has folded.

  • Upgrade memory concerning problems with the removal of the access cover and G560

Hi, this is my first post here - you just bought myself a Lenovo G560 after the disappearance of my HP nx6325.

The product I bought has only 2 GB of RAM and so I bought an extra chip to 2 GB of Crucial, who arrived here this morning.

I started to follow the instructions of the manual to remove the system cover to access memory locations, but after removing the 2 screws in the middle of the Panel and unscrewing 5 screws on the perimeter, the cover seems more reluctant to jump off. Apparently not a significant piece of plastic and I worry of breaking.

I tried gentle pressure under the lip with a table knife, but the cover doesn't seem to move - it bulges just straight up at that time. I checked and double-checked that I removed the 2 screws in the Center and completely loosened the other 5... He usually need some force to remove it, or I am doing something stupid?

    Iain

Yes, needs a bit of strength. But not with a knife!
Just a strong pull with your finger.

  • CC of Lightroom book Module will not show the cover and the back cover when I try to create a book.

    Hello

I recently installed the latest update of Lightroom CC on 09/12/15. I imported a bunch of pictures of customer so that I can make an album. I made this countless times before, but this time, when I've imported the photos and entered the book module it exceeds all the photos but do not give me a model for a front and back cover. Is it hidden? I searched everywhere on lightroom to try to fix it, but can't see what I can change. I even stop and restart Lightroom, but the same thing happens. No rear and front cover. What can I do? Help, please.

    Hi kathleenp75670290,

Could if it you please let me know the exact version of Lightrooom, click Help > about Lightroom.

And also what operating system are you working?

Also could you please attach a screenshot of the book without pictures in Module?

    Kind regards

  • Moto G 3: My back cover alert rises to the top at startup

I just got a Moto G 3rd Gen and everytime I start the phone, I get a notification that says to make sure that the back cover is properly sealed. I tried several times so that it comes not every time, but he always does. Is it normal for her to come up to starting or my cover is not waterproof? Someone at - it on their phone too?

    Hi Justin,

If you choose to GOT IT, then the notification only appears the first time you start the phone. If you decide LATER, it will be displayed at each reboot. If you want the shutdown notification, you will need to choose GOT IT when you tap the notification.

  • E1P04AV: Back cover for HP ENVY 15 notebook PC

The back cover of the laptop becomes loose.  the screws do not have the plastic back case.

I think I need a new back case. HP sells laptop parts?

    HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC

    Series: [personal information]

Yes, we can get you the manual and plastic case parts are available but rooms not only "detach". Either someone secretly takes a screwdriver for her while not looking or there is a failure somewhare in the hinge system that can run loose screws. Can we have a little more description or maybe a photo?

Page 18 here is an exploded view with the parties. Can you point out what's coming apart and how? Page 52 shows the screws on the bottom cover.
