• Satellite P755 - 11G: Win 7 64 bit - cannot activate BT after replacement of the module

  On my laptop Satellite P755, I had to replace the Wifi/Bluetooth PCI Express Mini card because the original Atheros was broken and was no longer working.

  So I decided to buy a new Intel® Wireless-Dualband-AC 7260 card to replace.
  Has successfully replaced by itself.
  WiFi now works again.

  Now, I'm dealing to get BT running. With the old Atheros card I could activate BT by pressing FN + F8 and choose Bluetooth from the menu of flashcard on top of the screen.

  After the replacement of the F8 full option in flash cards had disappeared.

  You said that the original WLan module was to Atheros.
  As far as I know the module Atheros WLan additional needs for the installation of the filter for the Atheros BT driver package in order to use and activate Bluetooth.

  I guess the Atheros BT filter driver package is always installed on this laptop and I think this might be the reason why the BT can not be activated properly.

  However, I recommend you to uninstall the filter BT mentioned driver package as well as Toshiba BT stack, driver Atheros WLan and the Toshiba value added package, and the Flash Cards Support utility. Clean the system using the CCleaner tool.

  Then install the Intel driver that would control the new Intel WLan card.
  Install the Toshiba BT stack and restart the device. Now follow with the installation of the Toshiba added value package and the Flash Cards Support utility. Reboot once again and check if you can use FN + F8 to activate WiFi and BT

  I think I had two different problems.  I was able to connect additional content under the UUT_Results, but I had to change my settings for database logging.  I disabled additional results, and everything started working.  I have always had a problem with the activation of the additional results box and never gave a reason why.  This occurs with standard features.

  If the last error noted the activation of additional results, so I disabled and was able to get my full database table.

  It can get quite complicated because this is certainly not the standard features of LCM and would not be supported by VMware if this customization is not performed by the team of the Orchestration Services of our Professional Services organization... However, that being said, a general approach would be as follows:

  • Duplicate the workflow application for Virtual Machine to the category of workflow custom under user and give a custom name like ask VM

  • Add new entries to the custom workflow that are something like: additionalDiskCount (number) and additionalDiskSize (number) (which implies that all the additional disks would be the same size)

  • Update the workflow to store these values by using a standard LCM Action such as:

  System.getModule("com.vmware.lcm").addDataToTokenKeyAsString (provisioningToken, additionalDiskCount, "additionalDiskCount");

  System.getModule("com.vmware.lcm").addDataToTokenKeyAsString (provisioningToken, additionalDiskSize, "additionalDiskSize");

• Adding an additional text on the toggle box

  I got a request to add text boxes to a framework for action. I showed them the two custom text in the action area and part of the explanation, but power really want a free text on the toggle box. I can't find any way to do it. Also, I do not think it is recommended for a training module, but alas, that is not serious. If there is a way to do it, let me know.

  Here are a few ideas:

  1. attach a web page to the bubble (like a picture link or hyperlink) that provides additional information.
  2. Insert a frame of explanation before the rocker with the additional information. The bubble can be moved freely by the author.
  3. edit the screenshot in MSPaint to include additional information.

  I highly recommend #1 or #2, which are much easier to maintain.

• where to save the files under options the file name is duplicated how to remove an additional folder with the same name

  Under Options in Firefox, I clicked on save the files under downloads, but the file name twice and an additional file with the same name is created in the folder, i.e.:

  G:\Akbar's Songs\HAMARA DOWNLOADS\HAMARA FORUMS DOWNLOADS FORUMS

  As you can see the file repeats, how can I fix it?

  Also the music files, I download from a site of downloads as a WinRar file and I need to open it. Y at - it an option where the file opens automatically in the folder I chose?

  Hi Akush, when you install 7 - zip, make itself the default application to open .zip and .rar files. So if you double click on the .rar file, it should open in 7 - zip. If you prefer to decompress immediately, right click the file and look for new 7 - zip items in the menu. I can't think of a way to do this automatically, however.
