2713hm resolution to scale/stretch

My (Dell) laptop cannot drive the monitor at full display resolution. I'm running at 1920 x 1080 over HDMI or 2048 x 1152 on VGA, and it adapts to fill the entire screen.

Is it possible to disable the scaling for the corresponding and black bars of 1:1 pixel around the image?

Hi Glenn2,

I did some research on this topic and found that the maximum supported resolution in 4:3 format using the HDMI or VGA cable interface is 1856 x 1392.

You can create a resolution customized using the graphics card Control Panel. The steps may vary depending on the manufacturer of the graphics card.

Let me know the model of the system and the video card installed on it so that I can has provided concrete steps.

You can check the graphic card category by clicking on start > Panel > hardware and sound > Device Manager to find out what video card came with the computer.

I hope this helps. Do not respond to the results.

  • PCI 5153 - Question about resolution / full scale

    Hello and I hope it's the right subforum.

    I am currently looking for data that we recorded using a digitizer NI PCI-5153. I noticed one thing, it is that there is a difference between claimed resolution / full scale range and in fact, what has been recorded.

    We run to 0.2 V pk - pk and in this configuration, I see that each step of the digitizer is actually 0.8593 mV instead of the expected 0, 2V / 256 = 0,78125 mV.

    Right now I have all the available data that extends beyond - 0.1V or + 0.1V, so I can't study if the full scale is actually closer to 0.22V pk - pk or if there are only 233 ~ steps available to the digitizer. This isn't a deal breaker, but it would be good to know what is happening. Can anyone help? Or did I just miss something in the manual?

    And the beach to the other parameters of the full scale would also be longer than 10%?

    Thank you very much!

    Hello

    After some research, I found that our measurable range is usually larger than the nominal range of 4 to 5 percent. I recalculated the size of bearing with this in mind and I got results that are close to what see you. So I think you see behavior expected on your device.

  • Games running in lower resolution on the desktop resolution does not fill the screen

    I have a laptop HP ENVY 17 TS with NVIDIA GT 740 M and Intel 4600HD graphics drivers and running Windows 7. Whenever I want to change the resolution in games at a lower resolution on the desktop resolution, the game shrinks to its view, leaving the couple of inches black bars on the edges. For example, if my the desktop resolution is 1920 x 1080 and I want to start a game in 1600 x 900, the game does not fill the screen, instead, it leaves an amount of empty space on the edges of the screen.

    In order to solve this problem, I tried the following steps:

    I first tried to locate the view tab in the NVIDIA Control Panel in order to define the scale/stretch in "Full screen", but my version of NVIDIA CP isn't the view tab (my NVIDIA drivers are the latest version).

    Then I discovered that I should do this in the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel. My Intel HD Graphics CP has an option named "Calibration" under display > display settings and it doesn't show the option to retain display scaling that is checked by default and does not change. Also, after searching the Internet I saw that some people suggested entering the 'advanced settings' and try to make changes. When I try to enter advanced settings, under view, it says 'this screen does not support advanced settings'.

    After trying without success, I tried the update driver Intel via their website, hoping that it can fix the problem. I ran the small Intel application on their Web site that identifies my chipset and offers me the latest driver for this chipset. Web site told me that the driver is installed on my computer is 10.18.10.3304, and there is an update for what is 15.33.18.64.3496 (or 10.18.10.3496). So I downloaded the file, but when I tried to run, it gave me this error message: "the drivre being installed is not validated for this computer. You can get the correct driver from the manufacturer of the computer. Setup will now exit. "that makes no sense.

    After trying the above steps, I'm not able to solve the problem, and I need help from someone who really knows how to solve this problem.

    Thank you.

    Solution (I hope)

    1. choose the properties of the graphic (logo Intel) option when you right click on the desktop

    2. go in view

    3. go through the resolutions on the 'Resolution' and change to this resolution (do not click Apply)

    4. for everyone to go to 'Scaling' at the bottom of the screen and change it to scale full screen (do not click Apply)

    5. Repeat until you get back to the higher resolution (that won't let you change the scale).

    6. quickly choose a few resolutions from the drop-down menu to make sure that they have changed their scale.

    I had a problem with some resoultions changing the way they were, but which should solve most of the problems.

  • How to make a LabVIEW program auto adjust the resolution of the window

    How to make a LabVIEW program that I wrote auto adapt to any size window.

    You have a few options in fact.

    Right click on the VI icon on front panel (top-right). Then select Properties VI---> window size.

    You can check 2 boxes it: 1 maintain proportions of window for monitor resolutions 2. scale all objects on the Panel before the window resizes.

    I think 1 is the one you want.

    If you are not satisfied by the results, do what I usually do. Create a different front for different resolutions by changing the resolution of your development computer. Detects on the resolution of the computer code target of your executable file, and then open the Panel before which best fits. If a PC has none of the resolutions you display a message that prompts the user to change the resolution, before it run your executable file.

    I hope this helps. I know it is one headache but what else can you do.

  • Underscale Inspiron 7547 question - please help! -1080 not filling don't see not all - black

    Hi all

    I recently bought a Dell 7547 - i7-4510u with just the integrated graphics intel hd 4400.

    • Got laptop with Windows 8.1 and decided to switch to Windows 10.

    After the update, the screen fills only about 95% of the area of the screen, leaving black bars around the perimeter of the screen.

    • Bar low is thicker that the top, L/R look bars width equal
    • I tried updating the video driver here using the windows 10 verision, still no luck

    • Tinkered with each menu windows associated with the scaling and resolution and the intel hd Control Panel, nothing.
      • "Graduation" of Windows change just a few sizes the same overall area of the screen that is already running.
      • Intel won't let me not disable the scaling on the 1920 x 1080 option, but on lower resolutions with "scale full screen" enabled, stretching only goes to the same 'edges' also.
    • Finally, I got fed up and used the recovery option for restoring factory Windows 8.1 and hours later, finally finished, the same problem persists
    • Also tried to uninstall the video driver, and then reinstall the version 8.1 of Windows on the same page of the above driver.

    See photo attached, hard to say, but where you see the reflection of the flash on the camera on the edges is where the screen ends and the encounter of the bezel plastic, where the screen should be stretching to.

    Thanks in advance for the answers you can provide.

  • Setting the width of a usual report to 80%

    4.2.1

    THM:Builder blue (2)

    Hi all

    I have a classic report with a region without borders. However, the columns are very rare. I need to stretch all the way to about 80% of the width of the page. There is also an html area at his side. The second condition is that the height of the region should be of approximately 300px. So if there is a line, then we see a line with the region of report showing the gray background for 5 lines and if there is more than 5, then the scroll bar appears.

    We tried to put a DIV tag also around the region

    But on different resolutions, the background stretches and gray appears. Height works very well. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

    Workspace

    application: Reportwidth. Basically, with some columns I want to extend the width to about 80% of the page and have fixed height also.

    Thank you

    Ryansun-Oracle wrote:

    Hi Fac586 - there is a report of 100% in the two regions. The new region for the moment only sample data, but the actual number of columns are range large numbers (100 000 000) and maybe 1-2 columns. However, we need to stretch the report according to the requirements. Nothing complex or large-scale. Just a requirement that we must complete, even if the spacing is a little too much. Paging is not enabled, I think I forgot to turn it off in the setup on this site. It is a region with height about 200px with active scroll bar. However, without the DIV and background color, what happens is that if only 1 row is returned, there is a lot of white area, where more than 5 rows are returned, it shows the scroll bar, so to keep the consistent look, we thought using the DIV. But with this approach, the width if you see raises questions, when the DIV on the right side much longer than the report itself. That's what we're trying to control.

    The problem is this region to theme 2 page layout is based on a table. By default the tables HTML and the table cells expand or shrink depending on their content. Using a wrapper DIV with 100% width or setting a width of 100% in the attributes of the region that you originally tried does not all elements of region layout table or tables in the report to stretch as required. The width of 100% should be applied to the layout region table, the cell that contains the report of the region, the report [paging] table containing and finally table of the report itself. Give the region report a static ID for use in some of the selectors and find how to select some containers layout in the generated HTML code. The CSS rule that results is located in the Inline CSS property page:

    /* Regions layout container */
    .tbl-main>.regionlayout,
    /* Report region layout container (first cell) */
    .tbl-main>.regionlayout>tbody>tr>td:first-child,
    /* Report container */
    #report_new-report,
    /* Report table */
    #report_new-report .report-standard {
      width: 100%;
    }

    The model of the region already contains a wrapper DIV with the class bl-body around the content of the region. Using this and the region that static ID in the selector, the region may be limited to a height of 200 pixels with a scroll bar if necessary without needing an extra wrapper element to manually add:

    #new-report .bl-body {
      height: 200px;
      margin: 0 0 10px 0;
      padding: 0;
      background-color: #f0f0f0;
      overflow: auto;
    }

    See this demo page in app 14448 in your workspace.

    The next step might be to use a custom report template to get a report header fixed with only the data lines of scrolling...

    My text disappeared weird in all for the title of the window the text of a Web page.

    He appears as a vector as well, as I was in safe mode...

    My guess is that it's something with the display?

    I don't really see anything wrong with your screenshot, but I'm guessing three. Perhaps, we can help you:

    1. Set your resolution to the native resolution to recommend to your screen. This is usually the highest option.
    2. Set your resolution scaling (scale of calibers) option to 100% so nothing is stretched out or blurred. At the bottom of the resolution settings, click on ' make the text or other objects more or less "and set it to 100% (usually smaller option).
    3. Use Internet Explorer instead of Chrome. Chrome does not correctly support the HD ('quality of the retina') screens, but IE doesn't.

    Hello, my MacBook Pro 15 "retina of start up in resolution lower scale which appears nationally for a 47" 2880 x 1620 monitor. It is boot in a mode as if an external monitor is connected. I am writing this post on my Lenovo Thinkpad because the screen icons and text on the MacBook Pro 15 retina are simply too small for what that be done.

    At startup, the login screen looks good, but during the loading process that I noticed this passage in an Apple with a status bar under the Apple. When the splash screen, icons resolution are incredibly small and the text. Thank you!

    Hey, the following steps should resolve your problem. Follow these steps on your MacBook Pro.

    (1) open the "system Prefrences" (this application should be on your Dock, but you can locate it by pressing "Control + space" to open the Spotlight search. Search "System Prefrences" and select the app.)

    2) click on "display".

    (3) select "Chipped" and choose the selected display resolution.

    (4) Optional: if display does not always look for how you would like, try selecting "default to display" under "Display" settings

  • Installing drivers Lenovo no? Yoga 2 Pro - video drivers for DX 11 games

    So, I use a Yoga 2 Pro. I love this laptop / Tablet what you want to call it, but the biggest problem I always seem to have is related to video games. I realize this isn't a game system, but it would be nice to play some.

    The game I'm most interested in playing is civilaztion 5. CIV 5 joined in the tactile controls game great and works great as a game of Tablet. However, because screen super high resolution of the Yoga 2 Pro, I am unable to run the game in full resolution. The best compromise is 1600 x 900. The issue is that launch the game with the forces of active controls touch game live x 11 mode. Direct X 11 mode, running at a resolution not standard messes with scaling of display. So I find myself with a small box centered in the middle of the screen surrounded by black bars, instead of the lowest resolution, the scale of the display.

    There is a work around, which is to introduce the resolution 1920 x 1080 via the Panel of control intel everything first before running the game, but it is a pain.

    This seems to be a driver problem, but lenovo does not seem to care never update of drivers as the latest drivers that seem to all come from October or November. I tried to install the intel drivers directly from Intel (which should work fine), but lenovo clearly has some block put in place to prevent the installation of unauthorized drivers.

    So if anyone knows a solution to my problem or a way to install these drivers, that would be great, thanks!

    Go to Device Manager, display driver and from there uninstall the driver currently installed. You will then be able to install the new Intel display driver. :-)

    May need to restart before and after...

    Not sure if the latest drivers will solve the problem you have.

    It is not a problem to switch to a different resolution, it of just a few clicks, but to change the scale display so requires you to close the session, which is a chore. If the game does not need to change the display scale you use a resolution of 3200 x 1800 so you can just temporarily change resolution each time you play the game...

  • artifacts when you drag windows/windows Explorer by using too much cpu capacity

    Dragging a window (not just browser windows) leaves a trail of white on the screen.  Closing any window is slow; Obviously the window collapses down before disappearing.  Manager Windows taskbar shows explorer.exe using amany as capacity 50% of CPU when this happens.  This always happens.  It started when I installed IE8.

    What is happening on three different machines.  They're all running XP, one is a laptop computer to dual boot with Windows 7 as the other BONES; the problem is not there when it is started on Windows7, but are there in XP.  All machines run at 3 Mhz or faster, bicoeur have all 4 GB of ram or more; the smaller hard drive is 640 GB.  We have integrated graphics card Intel; We have a discreet ATI video card; We have a discreet NVidia video card.  They are all updated on the drivers.  All the MS applicable updates are installed.

    The problem disappears if I uninstall IE8; reappears when I reinstall.

    Hello

    I have the latest drivers installed on all three machines.  I still have the problem.

    I went to visit a friend, installed IE8 on XP Pro machine and had the same problem.

    I visited another friend, verified that they already have IE8 on their two XP machines. No machine to had the problem!

    It took me two more days to spot the difference.  Machines to display the icons of countertop is not a problem, but if you uncheck the display icons on the desktop and have desktop background image (especially an image high resolution) in the stretch mode the problem surfaces.

    I found a solution to the problem.  I resized the image I used to match the resolution of the screen (three monitors, three sizes).  It seems to work even by hiding my icons and let the computer decide how best to run.

    I would like to hear if anyone can check out what I found.  I have explained the apparent conflict.

  • Apply waterwark in Photoshop in different files of sizes

    I use a watermark on each image displayed on my web site (www.hanahoephotography.com).  I use an Action to add a text layer (with text, 24pt) for each image before uploading on the website.  The size of each image can vary, and therefore the watermark may appear with a different size on each image.  How can I make sure that the watermark appears even on each image regardless of the size of the image?

    Mrinmay Majhi says:

    Hi Hanahoe,

    You can create an action to apply watermark on your images given the size of the image is the same.

    Photoshop will not be able to apply the watermark to a particular situation of the image on the files of different sizes.

    In fact, this is not true.  It is very easy to add a text layer the upper left corner of any size image and then place it in one nine positions as on a plinth of tick tack over the image.

    The trick is to get the correct text font size.  The only way I know to do this is to put the image on a known width. Size of the Image using resample not verified.  Everything that is to change the image resolution DPI scale to print a known size not a pixel is transformed...  Then the size of text that save you in the action will be correct for each image because all will have the same width.   I wrote a Photoshop Script to be used in an action like that. You use the script twice in action, for example, the steps of the first and the last.  The first time you use the script registers the DIP image resolution.  Then the action can scale the image known width and add watermark a position there. The final step when the script is used the second time will retrieve the saved DPI resolution and adapts the document to its original resolution restore its original size.

    (2) Yes, I have at least two fonts Segoe UI installed.

    (3) Yes, I 'fixed' and restarted several times, but no, I have not reinstalled.

    (4) I noticed that if I change the resolution of the screen, the problem is that slightly better IE dialog boxes are arranged correctly, but there is no text.
