  You can't the PDF files to be changed with Acrobat Reader DC.

  You must have the Acrobat application to edit PDF files using Acrobat. Edit PDF files.

As far as I know, these processes will last forever, until I have shut them down manually. If I run Firefox again without closing the current process, it creates another 4 k process, which finally closes itself. If I close all the processes manually, I can start over from scratch. Meanwhile, Firefox never opens a window, or give a clue showing that it is running, with the exception of the processes listed in the Manager tasks.

  We have about 5 users having Firefox refuses to open. In the task manager the firefox.exe is running. When we run as administrator, it works sometimes, but runs faster. We tried the ESR 38.2 Firefox and that worked for a day or two. I deleted their profiles and installed Firefox fresh with no Add-ons, even a day or two later, it opens. We turned off hardware acceleration, no change. The only thing I can think that I have not done is to clean the registry.
