Hello friends,

I m programming PRI with 32 channels, but additional 2921 say 2 DSP are necessary.

Please, any idea?

  • CLI command (or script) to determine if a resource pool has enough resources to a virtual machine

    Is there if a VMS resource pool has enough resources available to start the virtual machine WITHOUT triggering an error of vSphere PowerCLI script - or a series of commands - which can be used to determine?

    For reasons of performance test, we use a pool of resources with maximum rates for RAM and CPU.  Each virtual machine in the pool has a reservation for CPU and RAM.  Test automation will try to start VMs as much as possible in the pool during the test.  The CLI will return an error when you start the virtual machine may exceed the amount of allowed resources.  When this happens, an error on the console vSphere "insufficient resources".  Instead of constantly from the virtual machine, fault and generates error - is there a way to check to see if there is enough space?

    Thank you

    Jason

    Hi Jason,

    You can try if the following PowerCLI function is what you need. The function does not resemble stretch bookings.

    function Get-VmStartPossible {
      param($VM)

      $VM = Get-VM $VM
      $ResourcePool = $VM | Get-ResourcePool

      $CpuReservationUsed = $ResourcePool.ExtensionData.Runtime.Cpu.ReservationUsed
      $VMCpuReservation = $VM.ExtensionData.ResourceConfig.CpuAllocation.Reservation
      $ResourcePoolCpuLimit = $ResourcePool.ExtensionData.Config.CpuAllocation.Limit

      $MemoryReservationUsed = $ResourcePool.ExtensionData.Runtime.Memory.ReservationUsed
      $VMMemoryReservation = $VM.ExtensionData.ResourceConfig.MemoryAllocation.Reservation
      $ResourcePoolMemoryLimit = $ResourcePool.ExtensionData.Config.MemoryAllocation.Limit*1MB

      if (($CpuReservationUsed + $VMCpuReservation -gt $ResourcePoolCpuLimit) -or ($MemoryReservationUsed + $VMMemoryReservation -gt $ResourcePoolMemoryLimit))
      {
        $false
      }
      else
      {
        $true
      }
    }

    You can call the function with:

    Get-VmStartPossible -VM MyVM

  • "The memory resources available in the pool of resources of the parent are insufficient for the operations." ... Really?

    Hello

    We have three virtual machines on a host computer. They need to be pinned to this host and with reserved memory: 1 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB.

    We are talking about 13 GB of RAM on a physical server that has 16 GB of physical RAM.

    When I Power On last VM, I get the following error:

    "The memory resources available in the pool of resources of the parent are not enough for the operation."

    I have a second host with the same size of memory and use reach 14GB of memory.

    I know that each virtual machine wants more memory than what we have configured, but I would like to know if it's a "bug" or

    something we can fix via vCenter configuration, or we really need more physical memory.

    Please find attached the config of memory for the virtual machine and the host State.

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Host needs some memory as well for things like vmkernel, drivers and other components and you will not be able to touch this area with reserves of VM. It is not a bug, more like a fuse. You will not be allowed to book all of the physical RAM to VMs and / or resource pools.

    In your case, you should either decrease the reserves (why are you booking 100% memory for your virtual machines? What you're trying to achieve with this setting? Is it an obligation of the seller to App?) or increase the amount of physical RAM on the host.

    Of course this depends on your specific requirements and management policies of the resources, but in most cases I've seen, reservations are only affected when there is a heavy statement memory and using actions alone is not enough. Even so, reservations are usually configured only for very high priority / criticality VMs and not 100%, but rather a little before "stable / persistent peak memory Active" value. F.x. If a particular virtual machine has more mem use regularly on Wednesday 1-3 PM and memory active value for this period is 3 GB, a reservation is usually set to something like 4GB.

    I hope this helps.

    Computer memory virtual is increased from 6 to 8 GB and now vm fails to power on with the error massage not enough resources to meet the HA failover, attached screenshot

    The message is usually due to the Admission HA and reservations control configuration memory set on one or more virtual machines. With the default configuration HA calculates the sizes of slot based on the memory and CPU. Any reserve on a virtual machine could increase the size of the slot and lead to fewer available seats. What you can do is either to reduce (or eliminate) reservations about the VM (s) or set admission control to a percentage rather than the host failures tolerated.

  • Not enough space available on the disk without title

    Every time when I trie to install any creative cloud application, I get an error "not enough space available on the disk untitles-(30). There is no disc titled untitled and there is enough free space (50 GB).

    It happens on my Mac Mini and Mac Book Pro. The only similarity I can find, is that they have both a Kingston custom 60GB SSD.

    Does anyone have a solution to this problem, I already tried to change the location of installing a HARD drive.

    You're right, this isn't a problem downloading.

    It's a lack of space in / tmp (or/private/tmp). It is a silent place to stash huge to download files, but moving on... It's an easy fix.

    If you're set up with an SSD a popular board 'longevity' is the tmp in RAM or elsewhere to save some wear and tear.

    In expression, type "df - kh", if you see/private/tmp anywhere under "mounted on ' and the 'result' is not large (several concerts I assume), there is your problem.

    The most popular advice ramdisk (can not find the link right now) is to place a startup item to do this job and name "RamFS" or/System/Library/StartupItems/RamFS. Move it out or chmod 000 it temporarily, restart and install. You can replace the StartupItem subsequently (and restart).

  • "Your bootable USB key could not be created there is not enough space available on the disk.

    I am trying to install a partition of Windows 7 with an ISO on a flash drive with Boot Camp Assistant. Everytime I try it however, I get the error "your bootable USB key could not be created there is not enough space available on the disk. The flash drive that I use for this is 64 GB, so I doubt that the issue has to do with not enough available space. I have already tried the obvious, like reformat the flash drive and retry the write. Is there something I could hurt or do differently to make it work?

  • Satellite Pro A300: code 12 - this device cannot find enough resources

    I use Vista Business 32 on my Toshiba Satellite Pro A300.

    Recently, I plugged my parallel to my laptop port adapter and the Device Manager, I had a device that said conflict error, "this device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12).

    If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system. »

    Can anyone help me please with sorting on this problem?

    TEMI

    Hello

    This is a typical mistake if both devices have been attributed, ports of entry/exit (e/s), the same interrupt, or the same Direct access channel in memory.
    This error message can also appear if the BIOS did not allocate enough resources for the device.

    If seems that the resources are already used by another device, and so there is a conflict with the parallel port adapter that you have installed manually.

    I think you can only solve this check other devices that use the same resources and then that disabling in Device Manager.

  • Error"0x8007045D there is enough space available in the drive" everything by transferring the .mkv file

    Title: Error 0x8007045D new Code

    I, m, try to copy a file .mkv of 17 GB of my hard computers driving outside hard disk, the error message display of the computer's peripheral IO error 0x8007045D? What should I do? I tried the solution required to the http://support.microsoft.com/kb/952272 account, but could not solve it? I use Windows 7 Home Basic Edition, OS, 4 GB of RAM to 64-bit. There is enough space available in the drive in which I am trying to trnsfer the .mkv file, almost more than 200 GB.

    Hello

    -Did you do changes on the computer before this problem?

    Step 1: I suggest to start the computer in safe mode and then try to transfer the file and check if it helps.
    Start your computer in safe mode
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode
    If the issue is not persistent, then follow the article to find the cause of the same thing.

    Step 2: Clean Boot Mode
    I suggest to maintain the computer in clean boot mode and check if the problem still persists. A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.
    You can read the following article to configure the computer to boot:

  • PTC not reports any resource available on bridge

    Hi all

    I'm having a strange behavior...

    My bridge is a 5320 MCU, a license for the 7 ports in Full HD (14 HD, SD 28, etc.) version 4.5. I'm under XC4.0 PTC with no key to unlock. We have a bridge at this time, if no great reason to have bridges anymore.

    We don't use that Conference ad hoc... dial users meeting. to create a conference.

    When you arrive at 7 or 8 calls, TPC starts to announce that there are no resources available and calls get a busy signal. I raised the alarm on the bridge up to 100% limit... now I am up to 9 calls to two conferences. PTC reports 93% usage on the MCU, which I know is not the case. Why is it reported this. I have attached a screenshot of the use of PTC and a screenshot of the configuration of the MCU.

    If it is relevant, most endpoints are SX series (10 or 20), EX90 or Jabber for the customers of telepresence.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    You have a single configured waterfall, conductor always reserves to double the number of ports on the cascade that you fixed by the Conference, in the case where she needs, double because she needs a port of the waterfall for the primary and secondary Conference.  On the previous image (tpc_ussage), you will have a total of 9 connected participants, as well as 4 ports reserved waterfall (2 per conference).  So 9 + 4 = 13 ports used and 14 total ports divided by 93% capacity = 13 ports used.

    Also, keep in mind with participants by composition of the auto zero, conductor always reserves a port for these types of participants, even if they are not connected, it's in case they later they connect, they will be able to.
