2d24DX HP 2000: screen goes in and out

I have a HP 2000 2d24DX (Energy Star) last week the screen went black.  As I really saw what I could just came out the homepage.  After some research, it seemed that the inverter - to discover this laptop isn't an inverter and needed to replace the entire screen.   Ordered a new screen and replaced it. All seemed well, had a good display and a web cam worked.  Last night when I started towards the top of the screen came, and then I moved, he's out. If I picked up and it sitting on my knees down the screen would flicker on just a second and go back black.  I thought that perhaps I did not well related things, so today I took everything back out and made sure, it has been connected well.  Turned on and the screen came great.  The as soon as I moved the laptop, the screen disappeared again.  I can move to the screen and it signal inside and out.  At one point I got back in and sitting on the left.  The screen stayed for a few minutes, then he came out again without any movement.  Help, please.

@lrshotton ,

Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.  What you have going on is a problem with the connecting cable to the display.  There is a short in it or who has never replaced the screen did not leave enough room for the cable travel when the screen moves.

It may be that the connector was not well connected.

Please check with you fix the system or if you need to contact HP telephone support for repair options.

If your computer is a laptop... Search support

    Hello mcbethtings:

Welcome to Hp forum. Your question is not in the list. http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/documentSubCategory?tmp_rule=56801&tmp_task=solveCategory&CC=UK&DLC=en&lang=en&LC=en&product=4100044 So, in this case I sujest a restore back to remove what are the mistakes caused by a bad AVG update. GoTo all programs search and type in Recovery Manager click that above and open it. Click Yes (white box) so it apears. Select Microsoft System Restore Click next to three windows now you will see a list of dates, select a date prior to the installation of the update, then click. Let the computer do its restoration. Once done see if your problem is solved, if so try the update again, make you that the update is for 64-bit Windows 7 computers before you download it again. If that happens again once you know what AVG is not compatible for your computer.

Probably you have only received part of the witch update caused this problem due to the disruption of atmospheres. Sometimes this happens. Put day of my HP only made once. I just did a restore back and downloaded the update again and the second time through work. Please click on Bravo if this solves your problem. Thank you frrw.

    Try this:

Go to the Web site of the manufacturer of your laptop computer-graphics/computer card > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for the latest Vista drivers > download/install them.

    Then:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-AU/Windows-Vista/change-screen-resolution

    Change the screen resolution

Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.

    Hello

You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel - device
Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - then right click
on devices and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

Another method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure)
CTRL + ALT + DELETE and on the tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - then
on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is reached
by tapping F8 as you start several times.

First check this thread in case it is simple and if not to come back to this thread.

Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all patch is usually on a base hit or miss.
That there is no information on a black screen as it is on a blue screen just adds to the
Difficulty. Often using a restore point or Startup Repair will have no effect. You can try a
Google to see the proposed repairs, whom some have worked however these cover a wide
    field efforts.

  • The time on my Ipod will not change when its coastline, Wifi disconnects randomly, screen goes green and red and restart full iPod.

OK so this problem started about two days ago. I noticed that my time was off so I went to settings > General > Date and time. I changed the hour correctly but when I locked it and got out of her for a few minutes, it was always the same when I changed it. For example: this morning, back at the exact time that was at 10:41 20 minutes later, I changed my time and it was still stuck at 10:41 time will work properly if I am constantly on my IPod and do not block. I really need to use the alarm when I wake up every morning! I've tried everything to fix it, but nothing seems to work. Reset my IPod do not even help.

This issue has also started two days ago. I noticed that the wifi on my IPod touch 5th generation cut off while an application is open, but when I close it then connects back. It is only on my IPod, but not my IPad. It's pretty boring. I also tried to reset my router but it always disconnects.

The latest happened just yesterday. Again, I've tried my time is correctly set when all of a sudden half top of my screen turns red and turns green half lower. The screen then goes to black and my entire iPod restarts.

Thank you very much for the help. :-)
