2nd request - controller memory PCI for ThinkPad T500 2081-CTO OS Vista 64-bit

Obviously the PCI memory controller driver Is not installed on my ThinkPad T500 2081-CTO OS Vista 64 bit and appears as an error when the box running Lenovo system Toolbox.

Searching this forum I found a psot as follows BUT Jose for a laptop T-200.

I suggest forget you turbo memory. Intel stop talking about and they have not released a driver since 2009. It is 2 years before service pack 1 has been released. I made some tests and I could never measure an improvement with an installed card. As far as I am concerned, it of just something to break and interfere with other components.,.

  • Suggestions for synchronization of the Z22 with Vista 64 bit?

    Hello world

I know there are many positions related to this, but I'm still not clear on what I need to do, so I hope someone can help!

I just bought a new laptop with Vista 64 bit, and I have a Palm Z22.  I know there is currently no drivers for Vista 64-bit, and my laptop does not seem have an infrared port, so here's my question: anyone had success synchronization a Z22 in any other way, and if so, how?  Any help would be appreciated!

I am posting this probably a bit late, but for the benefit of anyone else who runs into this problem, I have had success using the IRDA to USB for Hotsync adapter a Z22 with a laptop under Vista 64.

I use an old version of Palm Desktop and Hotsync software in 32-bit compatibility mode.  When I tried to do a Hotsync via the USB port, I discovered that there is no USB driver for 64-bit for the Palm handhelds.  Not at the time I write this, in any case (Nov. 2008).

The only other option is IR for the Z22.  I found an adapter USB to IRDA model USB-1510 online.  The adapter comes with an extension cable USB for those who have a desktop PC or a USB located inconveniently on a laptop.

As soon as I plugged the adapter to the USB port on the laptop the 64-bit for the adapter driver has been downloaded from the Windows Update site.

I created Hotsync via infrared like I would on any other PC and it worked the first time.  The only problem is that if you start Hotsync by touching the permanent icon next to the writing area, he will always try to synchronize via USB, but I guess it's a matter of Palm Z22.  I have been using the icon on the main touch screen that always starts with an IR connection after the initial installation.

If you have a different model, Bluetooth and Wi - Fi Hotsync seem to work for others.

  • Controller memory PCI in Windows 7

In "Device Manager", there is a device called "PCI memory controller" which has a yellow sign on it.  During the normal investigation that it is said that there is no driver installed, I leave windows 7 trying to find a driver for me automatically, and it asked me to download "Intel Turbo Memory" of the site to intel.  I tried to install this driver and he told me that I need a later version of windows.  I thought that windows 7 is the latest version, do not lie to Intel or maybe they know something that the rest of us do not have...

I tried installing the driver in compatibility mode for Win XP and Vista, no joy.

Is there a solution for this?

The computer's specifications are as follows:

    Toshiba Satellite X 205-S9349
Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHz (T7100)
    4 GB DDR 667
    500 GB Sata
    120 GB Sata
nVidia GeForce 8700 M GT 256 MB dedicated
    17 '' TruBrite 1440x900dpi

Thanking you in advance for all the solutions to this problem, it's the only one I have for this computer, everything works as normal.

    Hello

Generally, tools and Utilities CD should be delivered with your laptop.
On this CD you will find all the required drivers for Windows XP. You can use the same drivers WinXP Pro.
If you install the drivers if you do it in the right order.
Installing the chipset utility is very important. This must be done first.
In addition, you must pilot your controller CardBus PCMCIA cardbus.
    Check it out.

  • Some problems with the upgrade of RAM on Lenovo ThinkPad T500?

    Hello

My laptop is Lenovo ThinkPad T500 and its main features as follows:

    -Processor Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 (2.53 GHz, 1066 MHz, 6MBL2).

    - 4 GB PC3 - 8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1067 MHz SODIMM Memory (2 DIMM).

-ATI Mobility Radeon 3650 with 256 MB.

I really need to upgrade the RAM to work with SharePoint 2010 and Windows Server 2008 R2. and my big question is:

    * How many memory locations that I have in my Lenovo ThinkPad T500?

I read on (http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-55644#t) that the maximum memory size for T500 is 8 GB.

Yes, in case if my Lenovo ThinkPad T500 laptop has only two memory slots, so, I'll have to buy 2 memory cards of ThinkPad 4 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 Low-halogen SO-DIMM, in order to get the 8 GB... and I have to throw my current memory cards...

    My other question is:

    * Is easy to install/remove RAM in Lenovo ThinkPad T500?

Sorry to ask the second question, but I have never dealt with before material.

    I would appreciate your inputs.

Thank you for your consideration of my request and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

The T500 has only two slots of RAM, so the upgrade to 8 GB would mean that your two existing 2 GB modules would need to be removed.

Replacement of the RAM is simple; Remove the four screws for the Palm and the locations of memory will be under the palm rest.

I'd rather than PCIe PCI for this purpose.

HP liked SIIG for a number of their SATA PCI slot cards.  SIIG has updaters for these maps on its web site, and the pilots understand place in Windows 8.  Here's what I recommend if you want to only two new SATA internal ports:

    http://h30094.www3.HP.com/product.aspx?SKU=3062195&mfg_part=SC-SAT212-S4&pagemode=CA

There is also a card HP SIIG eSATA that HP has used, and I have also used that... it worked great.  It has two eSATA ports and no port SATA internal:

    http://h30094.www3.HP.com/product.aspx?cache=2012565552&culture=en-us&SKU=2850719

In addition, you can connect a single SATA hard drive on an eSATA port (the reader would need external power supply) for formatting, etc.  For that you need a cable with eSATA on one end and a connector type SATA internal regular on others... it is so much easier than to open the box and play with the internal cables.  The best quality I've found for those who are Macgurus.com or Granitedigital.com.  Opt for a shorter (1 m) rather than a longer therefor version if you choose to do so, in order to reduce the risk of interference (which I have never seen this):

Macgurus told them are indicated for the generation SATA I, II and III, and they are a little cheaper for a length of 1 m of the granite.  Both are excellent companies.

Finally, there is a HP SIIG PCI with combined eSATA/SATA, with a player external eSATA and SATA port internal:

    http://h30094.www3.HP.com/product.aspx?SKU=2850718&mfg_part=SC-SA1012-S1&pagemode=CA

I'd stick with HP SIIG solutions and probably buy directly from HP for this unless you can find the same for much less expensive on eBay.  The cards have had several revisions, and I think that if you get your HP, you would later.
