• Activity monitor close unexpectedly when running in the background on the left

  Recently upgraded to Mac OS Sierra and Activity Monitor to close unexpectedly when running back plan left (do not smoke and open the activity monitor window) to a blank desktop when you use an application in another office. Clean install I tried but the activity monitor would still be down at random times when left running in the background to another empty office. Someone at - there experience this problem? For most browsing on the web using Safari on another desktop computer when Activity Monitor quit unexpectedly.

  Do not forget that you are using the activity monitor version which was installed when you upgraded to Sierra. Activity monitor located in the your Mac utilities folder.

  If you have moved a previous version to a different location, it will not work.

  If you are using the correct version, post crash report. Error reports lies in the application of the Console under System reports or reports from usersand end in the suffix .crash. If you choose to do so, omit or hide any information that you consider personal.

  Since I got Firefox satisfactorally running on another computer, I decided that something had corrupted the system. I completely deleted my profile, he has restored and copied the file places.sqlite to my other computer and now everything works well again. • PC Health Monitor - assessment of the State of the battery on the L50T Satellite-

  Last week, I bought a brand new L50t-A-145 8.1 Windows running. Beautiful machine and apparently everything works perfectly.

  However when activating the PC Health Monitor, he recorded the drums as being in a State of 'fair'... which means that there ' a loss of capacity, but it will meet the needs of most users. For a new machine, it is simply not good enough... I have a P845t that is over a year who never recorded the State of the battery as in anything other than "good" condition.

  I did a number of things (which, I hasten to add, I never had to worry about the P845t or also any other Toshiba laptop)... (1) I charged the battery completely and let run for sub 10% at least 6 or 7 times; (2) I uninstalled PC Health Monitor and downloaded the latest version on the Toshiba site and reinstalled (3) I completely reset the computer. All to... nothing is done, the battery status still shows as that 'fair '.

  The reason for which I got a number of options, is that it seems to me there is nothing wrong with the battery... it does not seem to take longer than usual to load and I appear to get the proper use of the machine as she throws... my little finger tells me that there is nothing wrong with the battery.

  However, in contrast to previous cell phones, this one comes with the sealed battery (one wonders who the nutter who thought about this or has it been done to overcome the concerns of airport security and other?). Therefore, if it turns out that something is wrong with the battery, it would mean the withdrawal of the front rear and associates of concerns. Or is it strange reading symptomatic of another potential problem with the computer?

  So I am sending you the machine backwards, but requested, before, if anyone out there can think of something else I can do to check the situation?

  Please keep in mind, I'm not particularly bright when it comes to computers, so any advice must be specified for a layman to understand!

  I'm running a X61s with a NEC 2690WUXi monitor. Problem, is that I can't get the Thinkpad output a signal 1920 x 1200 (even though I know that it is capable). I select the 1920 x 1200 resolution, but it still generates 1920 x 1080 (with panoramic top one downstairs).

  Have installed the INF for the monitor and check settings used. Also downloaded the latest drivers on the Lenovo site (even if they are older than the version on the Intel site).

  Any person in charge of exchanging ideas?

  Just a follow-up on this. I managed to get this working properly. It turned out to be a driver problem. Note the current driver on the Lenovo site (March/April 08) is not the last released version, compared to the Intel site. Upgrade to the latest driver on the Intel site fixed the problem and now I can run at the native resolution...

  Monitoring of virtual machine will restart a virtual machine if HA detects more VMtools beating heart, but also the network IO and storage to the virtual machine.

  If a host loses access to a data store that HA is concerned this depends on which version of vSphere is used and how to access that is lost (ODA or PDL - see details here VMware KB: loss of the device (PDL) Permanent and All - paths - Down (APD) in vSphere 5.x ).  If running vSphere 6, HA now has a feature (VM component Protection) which will restart all virtual machines affected by ODA or PDL on a host that is not affected. If using earlier versions of vSphere even with VM followed the active user intervention will be necessary since VM monitoring only restarts the virtual machine (and not on a new host) (vSphere5.1 storage improvements & #8211;) Part 4: All roads down (APD).   Sometimes I get the situation, that an action of the user needs time to perform. So I put this work to a task or Service.

  I want to inform the user, that its action is still ongoing. Just a simple ProgressIndicator.

  I know how to do it with a single task, but theoretically, there could be multiple tasks running, even some who were not triggered by the action of the user.

  So I want a similar thing as in Eclipse or IntelliJ: a 'background' control, which displays all running threads.

  Y at - it an easy way to do it, I mean from the perspective of Service/task/Thread, not the user interface.

  Do I need to record each scheduled thread that I start control, for example, when it is scheduled?

  Should I derive from task to make this logic?

  Is there a way to "look" all discussions?

  What is the best approach?

  My idea was to add each task to the control. And control of listening to the property running. When it is finished, it is removed from the list of observable controls.

  But what of the simple Threads, which can be started somewhere outside the Thread of the JavaFX Application?

  For the more general part of the question (of Threads that can be lit outside the Thread of the JavaFX Application):

  I've never worked with this part of the Thread API, but the Threads belong to the ThreadGroups. You can retrieve the group that belongs to a Thread with Thread.getThreadGroup (). ThreadGroups are hierarchical; each ThreadGroup except the top-level ThreadGroup has a ThreadGroup parent (ThreadGroup.getParent ()) and you can get references to all children with ThreadGroup.enumerate (ThreadGroup []) ThreadGroups. Wire also has a getState() method that returns an instance of the enum Thread.State.

  Of course, none of this is observable in the sense of JavaFX properties, so you should probably periodically this survey instead of being able to listen passively to state changes.

  For the easier part, a few ideas:

  I did something that is conceptually similar to what you're trying to do. I have a client-server application in which the data model communicates with a remote EJB service layer. All calls to the service layer are threaded. The model exposes an IntegerProperty represents the number of tasks that are pending (i.e. waiting to be executed or running). Most of the calls to the model to result in the creation of a task which the call() method runs on the remote service. The relevant parts of the model look like this:

  All jobs are scheduled to run by calling the scheduleTask (...) method above, which increments the property pendingTasks, and adds a listener to decrement it when it is finished. The only way for tasks to fail in this application is whether the remote service goes down (the other exceptions are thrown by tasks), this is why I close the naming failure context, and there is currently no functionality to cancel tasks. The code will have to change to meet the cancellation or failure, if this isn't the case.

  Of course, you could do more than a simple counter here using similar techniques. For example, you could keep a ObservableList for the tasks, add a task to the list when it is submitted and remove it when it is finished. Then, you could provide this list to control which can display the status of each task.

  Another option could be to write a wrapper for ExecutorService that has implemented this feature, rather than to implement in your model. (I can elaborate a little if it is not clear, but I have not actually tried it myself). If you somehow exposed this wrapper ExecutorService to the entire application and used for all your threading (which he is called to leave FXApplication thread or not) then you could at least be aware of these threads and should be able to monitor their relatively easily. All threads that were not executed via your wrapper ExecutorService would still be difficult to control.

  If you really want to see the SQL and PL/SQL executed for a given connection, you can try the following:

  1. Tools-> monitor Sessions...
  2. Select a connection for a user with the appropriate privileges (for example, must be able to run DBMS_MONITOR)
  3. in the list of sessions, right click on a session of interest, select the tracing Session and click on apply
  4. After completing the desired on the connection of interest activity, close the connection.
  5. open the trace file in SQL Developer (file-> open, or drag and drop it) - make sure that the drop-down list filter is set to all - to see the SQL code.
  6. choose one of the four views of the data in the trace file tabs: list, tree, statistics, history

  Step 5 is easy if the DB is local. For example, with Oracle 10 g Xe on Windows, find the most recent file of the truth and reconciliation Commission in a directory like

  C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\admin\XE\udump

  For a remote database, you will need to copy the TRC on a shared network drive or ftp to your local machine.

  If you just want to see orders DDL that you manipulate object DB connection browser tree definitions or in the object viewer Actions list, interface user provides usually a SQL tab so that you can view the SQL code before clicking the button apply.
