32-bit browser on a 64-bit Windows Server 2008

Lack of 32-bit IE 7.0 on 64-bit Windows Server 2008 installation. When you try to download Adobe Flash Player from adobe.com, we receive the message that our platform is not supported.

This article mentions it is possible to use a 32-bit browser on a 64-bit Flash Player OS: http://www.adobe.com/go/6b3af6c9

And it suggests that Windows Server 2008 is supported: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/systemreqs/index.html

What do we lack? Any help is appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

I spoke a little too soon. They won't push a workaround solution, just an update complete on 13 Nov.

For a player of workaround installation, download the version http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_19166 setup EXE

  • OWB 11 g Release 2 (11.2.0.1.0) for 64-bit Windows Server 2008 available?

    Hi team,

We have a windows machine *(Windows 2008 Server 64 Bit) * set for OWB development and where we have installed 11 g R2 Oracle Client. Now, we would like to install (Oracle Warehouse Builder) OWB 11g R2 (11.2.0.1.0) compatible for Windows Server 2008 (64-bit). But when I checked the OTN site, I only managed to find support for 32-bit Windows OWB 11g.

Can anyone suggest if OWB 11 GR 2 is able to support * 64-Bit Windows Server 2008 *?

I don't know if this is the right place within the Forum to post this question, so please direct me to the Group of concern (OWB).

Appreciate your support. Thanks in advance.

You should check the installation guide and the release notes for more information. You can also turn to MOS, if you have access to support, for the certification of product/platform.

Your CPU doesn't support VT - x.  VT - x is required for 64-bit on Intel hardware customers.  See http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1003945 for more information.

  • Windows Server 2008 R2 rejects all incoming TCP connections

I am unable to connect via http, for example to a brand new installation of 64-bit Windows Server 2008. The server is in a domain, but is not a domain controller (which is another problem altogether).

A specific example, IIS7 is running on the server and the site is accessible locally via http://localhost, but when I try to connect from another machine on the same subnet, the connection is denied, even if the Windows Firewall is disabled in all profiles.

I am able to connect to and browse shared folders on the server by using Windows Explorer, it is not a user account or physical connection problem. I can ping other machines on the network from the server, but trying to ping the server causes another machine "Destination host unreachable".

I have determined that the server refuses simply connections TCP from any other machine. I think, there must be some other configuration setting I'm missing...

In the network and sharing Center, I see that my connection type is 'Internet', which can very well what is the problem, but I have no way to change that.

  • Start the UCM 11 g and IBR on Windows Server 2008 when you start the server

    Hello

I installed ucm 11g with an inbound refinery on a 64-bit windows server 2008. The AAU and the bovine infectious rhinotraecheitis are supposed to start automatically after the server is running.

    1. I put the startWeblogic.cmd and the startNodeManager.cmd in the directory Autostartup. The weblogic and the nodemanager are starting very well in a denial of service console.
    2. I tried to start the University Complutense of Madrid with the following startManagedWeblogic of the UCM_Server1 command. Then he asks me a username and password and then, he throws a java exception and the UCM_Server1 will not be started.

The current situation is that the weblogic and nodemanager starts automatically and the UCM_Server1 and IBR_Server1 must be started manually.

What is the usual way to start the AAU automatically? Can we establish some Windows Services?

    Greetings
    Brahim

The best way is probably a Windows Service. Here's the Oracle documentation on how to do it.
    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E12840_01/WLS/docs103/server_start/WinService.html

You can also try the Windows Task Scheduler. I heard that this works well (even if a Windows Service would be better).

  • Contribute Publishing Services and Windows Server 2008

Someone was able to install contribute Publishing Services 1.11 on a 32-bit Windows Server 2008?  Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I was able to get it "installed" by copying a previous installation of Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008. Got a ticket to blog about it here:

    http://onceuponans.blogspot.com/2009/04/installing-contribute-publishing.html

I think our next rev of the website won't probably use Contribute more. Too bad, really - I rather liked it.

  • Satellite A505-S6004 - unknown device on Windows Server 2008 R2 64 bit

I'm trying to install Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit on an A505-S6004 (initially Windows 7 Home Premium) to a new disk. After downloading and installing many drivers for Windows 7 and install Toshiba Web site, I have two things left in the device manager that I don't know what to do for them.
The info is under another devices basic device PCI System Bus 3, device 0, Function1 and..., function2.

Any ideas what this can be?

    Thank you for your comments!

  • 600 g MT: network driver for HP600B MT for Windows Server 2008 64 bit

I installed Windows Server 2008 on computer HP 600 g MT (product number - B5G17EA). But I'm not able to get the network (Ethernet) and graphics drivers for this OS. I even tried to download and install the drivers for Windows 7 and 8. But that did not help.

The HP site doesn't have any drivers for this desktop computer operating system:

    http://h20565.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/readIndex?sp4ts.Oid=5270873&lang=en&cc=us

Driver search for "Atheros AR8152 / 8158 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.20) also went in vain I couldn't locate for OS Windows Server 2008 (64-bit)."

    Please help!

    Hi Provost,

Thanks for the reply. I downloaded the Ethernet drivers from the following link:

    http://www.driverscape.com/download/Atheros-ar8152-8158-PCI-e-fast-Ethernet-controller-%28ndis-6.20%29

And it worked perfectly for me. I had another system (HP 600 g MT). I went to the Device Manager and checked the name of the Ethernet adapter. It is Atheros AR8152 / 8158 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.20). Then I googled and found the link above was the driver.

The graphics driver from the link you provided, I always download it now. Would return as soon as possible about that.

    Best regards

  • How to install Windows 8 Pro cd image in the Windows Deployment Services on the 32-bit version of Windows Server 2008?

    Hello.

I wanted to ask you for example in Windows Server 2008 32-bit when there are Windows Deployment Service. From there you can add images and then you can install windows on the network. So I wanted to try to do it with the cd Windows 8 Pro where I but I couldn't do that because in the catalog of Sources, I find "install.esd" not "install.wim" how the server or service request, with the cd of Windows 7 you can do, but you can't do that with windows 8 Pro I have buyed haved. I want to try to do this with Windows 8 Pro cd on the network because I have 3 pc at home with Windows 8 Pro and I wanted to try out the service deployment with windows 8 when I need to install pc so I prefer to install it on the network not on cd or etc. P.S. for all PCs with windows 8 pro I have buyed them, I have license key and etc.

I use the 32-bit version of Windows Server 2008 in thw.
