32 bit xp or is it windows xp 64 bit

I try to determine what windows xp bit version I am with 32 or 64. I have windows xp professional of the media roll up 2 but has updated to service pack 3. I think I saw an update with a fix 64-bit but I can't find that now... How could I know what I have any help would be appreciated...

The reason for wanting to know is ive read the 64-bit version will recognize more ram ddr2. maximum 4 gb on 32-bit and it will recognize 4 GB + on 64-bit versions. possibley as windows 7 64-bit. of course he will read a 4 GB, but it will happen with the extra ram added. so, with that said how can I find out what version of bit, I... Please help thanks.

Right click my computer, properties... it will say after Windows XP 64 bit, if it is 64-bit.  He can tell if it's 32-bit.

Another method... Open my computer, go to C:\. If you have only a Program Files folder, then it is 32 bit; If you also have a Program Files (x 86) folder, then it is 64-bit.

With 32-bit, you are limited to 4 GB of RAM - around 3.0 to 3.4 usable; with 64-bit, you will see about 3.5 to 3.7 GB usable, depending on your specific system configuration.

What system of model do you have?

  • How can I disable the warning "this connection is not approved", which appears almost each time I try to go to a Web page via Firefox? I use 10 64-bit Windows.

I just upgraded to 10 64-bit Windows. The version of Firefox that works now on this OS regularly displays a blocking window that told me that "this connection is not approved" when I try to connect to a third-party site. A screenshot of the window copy is attached. How to disable this warning? I can't continue to use Firefox if I can't find the 'off' switch, which so far has escaped me.

Yes, this is the feature, and it is lit.

How it works, is that ESET intercepts all your browser connections to filter the content. If it is an HTTP connection, it is transparent. For an HTTPS connection, ESET must present a certificate of 'false' for Firefox site so it can be the "man in the middle" and decipher and read the answer (otherwise, it's gibberish, of course).

ESET is supposed to insert his signature certificate in both the Windows certificate store (used by IE and Chrome) separated from Firefox AND the browser certificate store accepts the false certificates. But it does not always work. In this case, you can import the certificate manually in Firefox. If all goes well, which has been covered in the manual, but otherwise it's basically along these lines:

    (1) search or save a copy of the ESET signature certificate (it is a file in DER format that usually has the .cer extension). Is your second screen shot what appears when you click View Certificate? Try this:

    • Click the Details tab, click the button "Copy to File. This will start the Export Wizard.
    • In the wizard, choose the DER format and save in a suitable location (for example, your Documents folder).

    (2) import the file into Firefox as follows:

    • In Firefox, open the Certificate Manager to:
"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced > mini-onglet Certificates > "view certificates" button.
    • Click on mini - the References tab, then on the 'Import' button and find the DER file. Note: I suggest allowing the certificate for websites only.

I have attached a few screenshots of reference sample.

  • If FF 39.0 on a new PC with Windows 7 Pro 64 bits - in the sidebar search results bBookmarks are slow - is new facility there a solution for this?

Recently I've just set up a new PC with Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) as the operating system. I just imported bookmarks from my PC in one. HTML file, I created from my old PC. Now whenever I type a search term in the search box to refine my search for one of my favorites of many, sometimes even by typing in the term search begins to lag while I'm typing more letters. Search term/terms once entered, it seems to take 15-20 seconds before the results list appears. This used to be almost instantaneous in this same version of FF (39.0) on my old PC 64 bit of Windows 7 (Home Premium) to bring up the results. I already tried to install the add-on called "signed 1.3.1 - 0 maintenance of the premises and this time there really doesn't make any difference that it helped when I got FF 38.0.5 on my old PC to Win 7 64-bit." Can it still be addressed. Please update as soon as POSSIBLE with the solution.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the < shift >

  • Firefox 36.0.4 windows 7 64 bit does not work

After updating firefox does not open even if the process is displayed in the Task Manager. On a 64-bit windows computer 7. Tried a few of your suggestions to debug and get working again. I'm not going to do more troubleshooting or work or research on this. It is broken broken broken. I had the latest mobile version running for awhile, but after the last attempt to install the desktop version (after uninstalling, removing x 86 old program shirts, reboot, etc.), the portable version is lance. As I have said that I will not make every effort more on it. I just wanted to inform you Mozilla 36.0.4 it's broken on windows 7 64 bit. This is not how I want to spend my time. Weeks of research No. avail etc etc.

Tried the mode safe mode with networking. Firefox launched normally. Started in windows 7 normally. Firefox would not launch. (Released in the system tray) with disabilities clamwin antivirus. • conflicts of Outlook and firefox on Windows XP 32-bit

    Problem reports and fix:
Latest Firefox on Windows XP 32-bit.

Earlier, Microsoft Office updates have been applied in the past months.

There were a lot of problems where Outlook and Firefox seem to share the same video address space, parts of Windows Outlook appeared in the windows of Firefox and vice verse. It's a pain. I needed to have one or another stop for each other at work and then things got worse than that, Firefox crashing very often. So I did a system restore to the 01/01/2015, which has removed the MS Office updates. Then Firefox and then didn't start because he didn't like the system restore. Reinstalled Firefox on top of Firefox [uninstall] and it starts now.

Now, Firefox and Outlook work well. Will not apply to MS Office updates as MS is not stable or worrying questions about Windows XP.

The problem has been fixed. You are implying that restored system restored a video driver update and that was not the case. Yes, the video display problem in question, but it doesn't seem to be a video driver issue.

I posted with the solution so that it would be here if someone had a similar problem. I don't know why you trying to tell me how to fix something I said has been set.

  • Is there a way to get my iMac 2007 to install 64 bit Windows 10?

    I need to partition again.

I have Widows Vista and upgraded to widows 10 but it is 32-bit.

Updates that I need for the software I use requires more space on the platform, which I love, as well as the requirement for 64-bit safer.

I'm an architect and use Revit.

Revit works with Windows 10 32-bit level but Revit has been improved and now need 64-bit.

Windows Vista is no longer. Windows 10 is the and all other windows... (Imitation of Apple have I just said that) OK, seriously... I need help

Yes, I could go back to an earlier version of Revit and an outdated version of Windows but that in not my preference and I want to stay with Tech. In fact I don't even know if Vista is sold and more. I don't like either.

I'm a Mac user (for those who know just what this little statement). There is no chance that I 'go back' to the computer.

My 2007 is great it works really well.

I'm running the latest OSX El Capitan.

I need just to accept the updates to 2017 Revit and windows 10 64-bit...

Please tell me it can be done without having to buy a new computer.

I don't think anyone can tell you that. Although you can run W10 as a virtual machine which is not possible on your iMac, the performance would be terrible. Would need you at least 4 GB of RAM and 6 GB would be better. But try to run Windows 10 and Revit on an older iMac of 9 year running El Capitan would be very problematic.

  • Windows Vista 64 bit does not install last version of iTunes

I just updated my iPhone, the recent phone must have the latest version of iTunes installed, I currently have 12.3 but I'm unable to download the latest version, I have Windows Vista 64-bit on my desktop, can anyone help?

I don't think that Vista will support the latest version of iTunes, which is necessary for the latest version of iOS. I will check something quick and get back to you. What iPhone do you have? What happens when you try to download the latest version?

Problem has now been solved by another thread.

  • Firefox 64-bit for Windows

Y at - it no hope to get Firefox 64-bit for windows soon?
My problem is Firefox + JDK/netbeans-bundle on 64-bit Windows 8.
Everything else can be 64-bit, but Firefox. If Firefox wants JRE 32 bit for normal navigation, but 64-bit JDK installation replaces it with 64 bit that does not work on Firefox.

Installation of JDK/NB-bundle 32 bit on 64 bit Win8.1 crashes.

So it's a JDK/NB or Java compatible Firefox, but not both?
Or y at - it a simple way to tell Firefox to look at another directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_20) when the other SW is looking in the default directory (C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_20)?)

I know that the problem has three parts: Microsoft, Oracle and Mozilla, but Mozilla seems to be one with no option (64-bit) "in progress."

SuperSluethe, please do not suggest that the web site because it links just a random accumulation of 35.0a1 of the channel of Nightly development without any warning. This channel is a bleeding edge and gets check-ins almost everyday as well so that they get an update of each of these days.

As for 64-bit Linux, they can get those clean https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
