3510 printer - won't print

I have a HP3510 printer all in one.  It is connected by USB (NOT wireless).  Printer is turned on and the light is on.  It scans the computer and it copies fine.  It does not print.  Here's what I've tried so far: (1) check that the print spooler was launched and ongoing enforcement, (2) printer is defined as printer by default, (3) paper is loaded and not stuck.  I see the print job in the window when I right click on the printer icon.  I cancelled the print job and did it again.  Still does not print.  There is on LED display on printer, copy, scan, quick forms and settings options and ink levels.  Shouldn't there be an option to print?    Any help is appreciated.   Thank you!

I'm sorry you have a problem with printing.

Try to stop and restart your printer spooler.

You can also run the doctor print and scan and the results.

Perform a hard reset on the printer. Unplug the power cord at the back of the printer. Leave for 30 seconds and plug it back.

  • 3510 printer: direct internet windows wireless printer

just to check: on my WIN 7 PC, I cannot not BOTH

    i unless:

(using WIN 7) switch between the WD network and the network WHN

This is inherent in the implementation of WIN7/WD?  Yes/No?

    Hello

Indeed by connecting to the Direct wireless network you will have no access to the internet, it is an expected behavior:

Wireless connection issues > How do I print wirelessly without a wireless router? > Downsides to peer-to-peer networking:

Your computer can only connect to one wireless network at a time. When it is connected to your printer, it cannot also connect to a wireless router (for Internet access, for example).

  • 3510 print quality

Print quality is good, but too dark and uses ink cartridges too quickly. Is there a simple solution to change the setting on printer 3510 project or the quality of the light to save ink? An "ink saver" option would be useful.

    Hi jacksson,.

    Thanks for the quick response.

What you need to do is click on the start menu, open Control Panel, open Printers and faxes and then click on your printer to highlight. Continue to click with the right button on your printer and click on Preferences or print options, according to which there and then you should see a screen similar to the picture below, although it will probably happen on the tab layout as opposed to the paper/quality tab.

Once you have selected the draft mode, hit apply it inside before pressing OK. Then the printer should still print in draft mode, until you tell it differently.

Hope this helps, let me know how everything goes!

  • DeskJet 3510 - printing color word documents

My 3510 newly installed Deskjet prints color on the test pages, but does not print Microsoft Word documents docX Mac in color (just black & white).   I don't see anywhere in the printing options to choose the color.  We have an IMac OS X 10.8.5 and Microsoft Word for Mac 2011 version 14.3.8. Can someone give me advice on how to make this work?  Thank you!!

I just talked to HP and found the solution to my problem.  I'll post the answer here in case someone else is struggling with this too.  The technology suggested I go to the window printing & scanning (in system preferences), then remove the deskjet printer and then add the printer deskjet again.  That fixed my problem and now I can print my document in color.

Yes you will need a printer USB cable like this.

  • DeskJet 3510: Print too large Deskjet 3510

Lately, whenever I have print anything it is printing too big - margins are off page. I did the align printer and can't find anything in the settings of the printer for this affect where it prints the correct size - it is not set in landscape mode and is set to portrait, so I do not understand why it feels like landscape. Anyone know how to solve this problem.

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

Most of the time, the size of the police - margins, the scale - and 'together General' that you print the page is managed in the application you are using at the time that you configure the print job.

In most browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer), publishers of documents (Word, free) and PDF (Adobe Reader and Foxit) readers, this "setup" is run a program or a called subroutine print preview.

You (in other words, the print job) can get into trouble when the scale of the Page does not match the study - maybe the margins are not (and must be) set "Fit to Page".

Font sizes may be too small - or large - for similar reasons, but it can become a little more complicated than that.

It is also true that certain documents and Web Pages are best printed in landscape mode in Portrait - and it is not always clear in glancing at the Page that is best.

You might take a look at the following and see if the explanations and examples can help you sort through what is happening in your situation:

Manage the print with preview output before printing

  • Black vs color printing configuration

Ref: 3510 printer, Windows 7 HP

I recently bought this printer and love it.

I set the printer to only print in black ink... When I want to color I will turn it on.

QUESTION: Why don't eprint recognize my printer settings?... it prints in color when the printer is configured to print in black ink.

Is this a bug in the system?

    Thank you

    Chuck

In the eprint settings window you see a tab in the Middle print options? Here, you can set the color, levels of grey or black only. This will not affect the photo files, but the emails and files documents will be released in black only with this set.

  • Recent update for my HP Deskjet 3510 Series does not install

The recent update for my HP Deskjet series 3510 printer will not install.  I tried the store several times and get the same error on the result: recent installation updates unsolved problems.

The update is called: Hewlett Packard Imaging Null Print HP Deskjet 3510 series.  The error code that comes up is: 80070490.

I am running Windows 8.1 and use HP Pavilion g7 - 64 bit laptop.

    Can someone help me?

    Hello Redjerseylinda.

I understand that this update of the printer is not installed. I will do my best to help you, and there are a few options to consider:

You can skip this update and all other HP updates. Updates are not essential in the slightest. If that's what you want to do, you can uninstall HP updates from Control Panel, and then restart the computer.

If you want the update has been installed, you must uninstall and reinstall the printer software. You may use the software update to install this update.

Please answer as soon as possible. I'm only here to help!

  • HP deskjet 3510 scanning black and white photos

HP deskjet 3510 printer all-in-one scan computer black and white.

I want to scan an image is what ever color.

I don't see anyway to change the color.

    Hi len,

You can choose "Scan to PDF"? I wonder if the PDF will scan in color. Let me know what happens!

In addition, instead of scanning from the printers of the unit Panel, you scan from the printer software I was alluding in messages earlier? Scan from the software on your PC will give you all of the scan options.

    Take care
