3515 microtour pro: Pro 3515 tour Windows 7 (32-bit) - (USB) Universal Serial Controller Driver - location

Hello

I updated a Micro Tower 3515 Windows XP Pro to windows 7 pro (32 bit).

I now need to find the location of the (USB) Universal Serial Bus controller as that were not found under the DEVICE MANAGER.

I've been on the Support site, and while he acknowledges my Tower unit and displays a list of downloadable drivers, the USB controller is not listed. I also installed the support Assistant software,

Can anyone suggest a way to install the appropriate driver.

Thanks in advance

Martin

Hi, Martin:

Download and install the driver first on the list from the link below and restart the PC.

    Download and unzip the file.

Go to Device Manager and click the controller smbus needing drivers.  Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver folder that you unzipped.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.  Then restart.

It's sad to see how Samhrutha answer to the question in this way.

The driver does simply not good.
The only option to address this situation in the meantime a driver that works, disable features in ' Configure, Advanced tab "on the actual card.
Different properties exist here. Try to enable / disable some of them. It helped for me on Win7 x 64 ASUS MB.

  • Windows 7 32 bit can not find the driver for printer Photosmart Premium C310a

I recently had an update to the product directly on my printer Photosmart Premium C310a on Internet.  However, this then to Windows 7 (32 bit) to search for a driver for the printer but it could not find a.  If I click on devices and printers, it shows my device from the computer as requiring troubleshooting.  When I click on troubleshooting it signals that "Driver for Photosmart Prem 310 is not installed.  Install the latest version of the driver.  When I applied the fix, it indicates that the driver is not found.

I tried to download the latest driver on the website of HP in various ways, finally to uninstall all HP software displayed in the Panel and then removing all the HP files remaining on my laptop.  I then ran PC Tools Registry Mechanic, disabled my anti-virus, restarted the computer software and reinstalled the complete C310a software on the HP site.  It ended without any problem, and after adding the printer to my list of printer, it is printed on a perfect test page.  However, Device Manager always reports the C310a driver is missing, but it cannot find a copy when it finds one.

How can I convince the device manager that everything is going well (apparently)?

apeace, I recommend you do as you did, uninstall the printer under programs and features but also by ensuring that this printer he is removed from the Manager of peripherals and devices and printers. Then after restarting the computer and by disabling the firewall, download the drivers and software for full adjustment and install them.

You can also run this utility and see if that solves the problem automatically!

  • Satellite Pro L450-17R - Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit?

    Hello

The HDU packed according to me, that he had Windows 7 installed on it that I don't know if it's 32-bit or 64-bit, the Microsoft sticker has the product key, but the rest of the details is worn down. I'll order a Toshiba Recovery DVD but I don't know if installing the normal OS on this model is 64 or 32 bit OS?

Otherwise, someone knows how to check the version of the OS to the MS product key

    Hey Buddy,

According to the specifications of the laptop comes with Windows 7 64 bit * preinstalled * and the 32-bit version on * extra DVD *.

The current version of Windows, you can check if you right click on my computer. In the new window, you can see the current version of Windows 7.

If you order a DVD of recovery, I think you'll get 64 bit only because 32 bits, you're already on DVD.

Y at - it problems with the drivers & where I can find drivers for 64-bit Windows XP?
    See you soon

Toshiba does not 64-bit drivers for Windows XP.

So you must search on external Web sites for the drivers but I could only you n t get all the drivers. To be honest if you don t use 4 GB of RAM or more in this laptop Windows XP are the best choice.

Here are some examples where you can search for drivers:

  • How to put windows 7 64 bit on my new hard drive?

    Hello

I have 2 years, this laptop Satellite L505-13j.
My hard drive is damaged, slow, small. I buy the new hard drive, but I don't have the CD with windows backup and software for this type of laptop.
Download windows 7 Home premium 64-bit and software for hardware on my laptop? Where?
With the computer came only CD with windows 7 32 bit

Original recovery image can not be downloaded.
What you can do now is to install the clean version of the OS by using the original installation disc of Microsoft or to order the Toshiba recovery disc.

Of course the second option is much better. To the original installation of disk aid will be very simply and you have activate OS version. Original Toshiba recovery disc can be ordered on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

    Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forums.

This can also occur if an incorrect device driver has been installed for the DVD-ROM device.

I suggest that you visit the DVD drive manufacturer site download the latest drivers for the drive and install on the computer and if it works. Make sure you download the Windows vista 64-bit driver.

  • Windows 7 64-bit USB mouse randomly freezing

    Hello

My Microsoft Wireless Natural Ergonomic Keyboard and Mouse 7000 freeze randomly.

    OS: Windows 7 64-bit

    Drivers: Latest IntelliPoint IntelliType

Latest drivers for p6x58D premium mobo and all Intel chipset drivers USB installed. All the drivers are up to date.

Several other posters here have the same problem. Their solutions have ranged from:

    (1) disable USB (tried without success) power management

    (2) updated drivers (fact) (fact) windows update

    (3) use the usb mouse not (not an option)

    (4) time of DPC latency (not verified, no problems)

Uninstalling drivers USB Root Hub 5), reboot to reinstall (does not work)

The only thing I have left to suspect, is that I had to plug the mouse/keyboard before installing intellipoint/intellitype for the first time. As I built the system from scratch and have no other key/mouse, I need something to click/press to do the installation of windows and intellipoint/intellitype. Yes, the instructions on the set of microsoft to install software first of all that's probably the source of the problem? Should I track down a PS/2 mouse, reinstall all the drivers for mouse/USB?

    Any other suggestions?

    Hey Chris,

I found the source of my problem. As others have suggested, wireless interference are the problem. :(

However, before the test of this theory, I removed all the neighbours of the wireless devices, (not a microwave nearby) and moved the mouse right next to the receiver which was attached to my desktop, but it has not solved the problem. This leads me to believe that the issue is not reached. After all, if the mouse is 3 inches of the receiver and still problems...

However, after reading around online, I found a place that mentioned that large metal objects can interfere with signal as well. Then it dawned on me that my entire computer chassis was made of steel. It is not a plastic case, rather a metal.

I purchased a USB extension cable and kept the receiver for the mouse wireless of the case, and all the Frost took to occur! :)

Thanks for all your help, Chris, Debra and Curry!

  • Operating system. We have first Pro CS6 and Windows 7 32 bit. It will not be installed

    Dell laptop Latitude 6420

    Windows 7 Professional

    8 GB Ram

A user in PR must use Adobe first Pro CS6. However, when we tried to install the program is grayed out and displays a warning icon. If I hover over there is a message that says that he prefers the 64-bit. Rather not say will not work in my opinion. However it will not be installed.

I read that first Pro is 64-bit on another web site. Is this true? There must be a solution.

On the Adobe site, I saw that the installation of CS4 first was the work around, but you must purchase a license key. We have already purchased the Premier Pro and have no money in the budget to buy an old product when it should work.

Help, please. I'm under a lot of pressure to solve this problem

    James

Premiere Pro CS6 is a 64-bit software and will only install on a 64-bit computer. There is no way around that.

Ive bought a Satellite Pro C650 with Pentium duo core and 8 GB ram. I did the initial start upward according to the instructions, but the PC work as 32-bit and I do not have access to the total ram.
Obviously, I need to upgrade to a 64-bit system to take advantage of all the ram. Ive done the checks of system and it indicates that the PC is capable of running the 64-bit. The more I read more confused I get.

Do I lose all settings, etc. on the PC?

  • HP Compaq Pro 6305 SFF (Windows 7 32-bit) - WMI - SetBIOSSetting-> generic failure

When using WMI to configure the BIOS settings to boot the PC after the loss of power, I get generic failure when executing the measures on nine machines got us (HP Compaq Pro SFF 6305). This works very well on older machines (such as HP Compaq 6005 Pro SFF). On the two types of machines, I can run the following command:

    Get-WmiObject - computername [PCNAME] - space namespace root/hp/instrumentedbios - class hp_biosenumeration. where {$_.} Name - eq "after power loss"} | Format-Table name, value - autosize

So I get something like "Off, * on, previous state" (in this case PC should start automatically when the machine is new).

To change this setting, I'm using following command:

(Get-WmiObject - computername [PCNAME] - space namespace root/hp/instrumentedbios - hp_biossettingInterface of the class). SetBiosSetting ("after the loss of power ', 'On' ')

Works fine when HP 6005 [PCNAME], but fails (with generic failure [exact error below]), if I try to do on 6305 model.

Exception call 'SetBIOSSetting': 'generic failure '.
    At line: 1 char: 125
    + (Get-WmiObject-ComputerName - wksp0002a416 - namespace root/hp/instrumentedbios - hp_biossettingInterface of the class). SetBiosSetting< ('after="" power="">
    + CategoryInfo: NotSpecified: ( [], MethodInvocationException)
    + FullyQualifiedErrorId: WMIMethodException

In both cases who is not a 'read only' value (at least according to what turn WMI).

Any idea will be highly appreciated.

If anyone has the same problem, the reason was found.

SetBiosSetting method takes 3 arguments (Name, Value, password). Password argument was optional on old machines. Of the nine, it is mandatory, so valid command would be:

(Get-WmiObject - computername [PCNAME] - space namespace root/hp/instrumentedbios - hp_biossettingInterface of the class). SetBiosSetting ("after the loss of power ', 'On'," ")
